      If a white person says brown girl? We would be called a racist? I don't have a problem with it but us white people are coping a lot of sht lately being called racist? I don't think its fair that we get called racist but its okay for brown people to call each other niggar or other things? I wouldn't take it the wrong way if someone called me white girl? Do you agree that this world is getting crazy with white and brown people calling each other a racist? You don't have to answer me but I am just curious? Anyway, cheers from Australia. 🥂😅🇦🇺💕⚘

    Wow this is ingenious. I was literally looking on a website contemplating whether to buy seamless clip ins and then added to the basket and couldn't click buy because it was too expensive and I couldn't justify spending that. Then God directed me to your channel and I couldn't believe it. My prayers 🙏🏾were answered.
    I'm now planning to make some afro kinky seamless clip ins. But what I wanted to know as afro kinky is quite thick do I need to glue two together?
    .....and would I need the bonding glue if not glueing two together?
    Sorry for all the questions but I'm so so excited. Thank you and based on this definitely subbing to your channel. I can't thank you enough.. You've saved me nuff money 👍🏾🙏🏾❤

    • @VanessaHerringBeauty
      @VanessaHerringBeauty  3 года назад +5

      Ahhh I'm so excited for you and happy you found this video! You definitely don't need to use two wefts - I chose to do that because this hair was straight and I wanted more volume! You should be able to easily sandwich the hair between two pieces of tape without using the glue - so no, you shouldn't need the glue if you're doing single wefts. I hope that helps and I really hope you enjoy your clip ins!

    • @VanessaHerringBeauty
      @VanessaHerringBeauty  3 года назад +9

      Ok so I'd say the first one I did shed the most because I didn't press it into the tape and glue enough 😩that was my test piece lol but the rest had minimal shedding... Mostly where you cut the weft on the ends, which happens anyway when you cut it. The key is to really make sure it's pressed in good!

    @warner1074 3 года назад +2

    @Vanessa Herring Have you found a way or is there a way to make these where one side has the hair on top? And, is it the stitched part of the weft that makes clip-ins bulky? I am asking because I saw a “naked” weft that had hair on one side, but the the other side where the clip was attached was a silicone tape. The hair was attached to the thin silicone tape. I’d like to see if there is a way to have the hair on top so it is easier to hide the shiny portion of the tape. Or am I over thinking it? I have never used these before so I don’t know if it is shiny in person. But, I like what you did and the smoothness you achieved. Good video. Any suggestions you can offer will help.

    • @VanessaHerringBeauty
      @VanessaHerringBeauty  3 года назад +2

      I'm not sure if that would work, because the hair needs to be sandwiched in between the tape, since you're cutting the weft off. And yes, I've found it's the stitched part that makes DIY clip ins bulky... If you're worried about the shine I have seen some diy clip ins made by stitching the wefts onto lace, but I haven't tried that yet. I hope that helps!!

      @@blair7484when you make wefts, you have to fold the hair over at the seam resulting in bulk near the base of a weft. Removing those short hairs (beards) would result in a more seamless end result. So essentially, beards are just short hairs that are inevitable in human hair wefts.

      Wondering this too because I need to dye my hair and I don't think I want the black glue to show and I'm thinking super glue may dry faster. Or try to find a clear hair glue
