How remove DIY tape ins - ruclips.net/video/Rx8AOBocGjY/видео.html
Please where can I buy the tape
Can you make a video of hair maintenance while they are in
How do you remove them?
you are a real one
Can I suggest placing the tape 'just beneath' the sewn portion of the weft all the way along. Once complete, use a Sharp scissors to cut away the sewn portion. This step will allow the tape to lay flatter on your head without 'bulk'. It also allows for a tighter adhesion once you use the flat iron. Thank me later 😁🇬🇧
Can you reuse the hair if you cut off the sewn portion?
@@petitewigshop I think cutting the weft should happen first. That way you can pull off the short fuzzy hair
Do u have a video showing so I can tune in
I thought this too but was wondering how you would stop the shedding?
I will definitely do what u said!!!
The fact that you have created a way to make hundreds of women feel beautiful is amazing ❤ your incredible
Girl! You just saved me a bunch of money! I had some hair I didn’t know what to so with. Beause I don’t like sew ins. I was thinking of making a wig. But this will do. Im so grateful i found this video lol
How did it come out? I have some hair from my aunt that I was going to make clip-ins with until I seen this.
@@TiffMoFlo did u try it?
I’ve had trichotillomania for almost 20 years and all I’ve done my whole life is try to hide it. I’ve had undercuts, gone bold, had wigs but nothing seems to feel like me but I’ve tried doing tape ins after watching this video and I just want to say thank you I feel wonderful and beautiful and also you are so brave and wonderful. thank you🥰🥰
Trichotillomania Sucks..I appreciate you bringing awareness to others who do not understand the emotional reality of Such An Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. People do not like to talk about.
OMG I do To I’ve Been Meditating to help me day by day it gets better It’s so relieving to know other ppl understand what trichotillomania Is
Try Tumeric in your tea daily or when you feel the urge to pull. Life changing.
I deal with this also and I have felt alone like nobody understands. I feel so much better knowing that I’m not alone. This just lifted a load off of my shoulders. Thanks for sharing!!🥰❤️
@@LinguisticWhispers I will definitely do that! Thanks for sharing!🥰❤️
Wow! Would've never thought to create my own. Thank you. Yours came out soo good!
You are welcome, let me know if you try this method
Black girl magic I tell you hunny you really did it with this diy!!!!! 🌺🌺🌺😍😍😍 I will definitely try this method because I love crocheting my hair but now my scalp is like we want less stress lol 😂 thank you for this tutorial your install looks amazing
Wish I could ‘love’ this video rather than like it as you saved my life with this video. So straight forward on how to do diy tapes, especially as it’s so difficult to find ready made textured/curly tapes in general. Also love that you provided a UK & US link to the tapes because everything good seems to be in the US! Lool Thankyou, you are the MVP!!!
I KNEW this was coming 💯💯💯💯 black.women took creative. We Gonnna stay on top 💯💯💯💯
I am thinking of using a protective bond (used on quick weave) in the top inch where the weft is. Letting that dry. Then adding the tape and cut the weft off... it will shed less ❤. I want curly hair tapeins but my favorite vendor doesn't have them so I'll make my own from the wefted hair😊
Do you have a video that goes over maintenance or how long they last? What happens when some fall out? Does it damage your natural hair? Can you use regular conditioner and leave in treatments or will it cause the tape-ins to slip out? Can you use a hairdryer to dry hair?
Btw…beautiful results! ❤️
Yes good quality hair and tape should last about 6-8 weeks. Make sure to not wash or get the tapes wet until at least 48 hrs
@@zaimontrell8394 is it sweat proof I like to work out in this and then wash my hair
These came out beautiful.. I put my tape a little under the weft, then once I pressed it with the flat iron and made sure the hair was secured, I cut the weft off... less bulk and more flexible. Trust me you'll love it 😊
Omg that’s so great. And did u have issues with the hair falling out the tape or it’s all good. Also may u tell me what tape u used? Thank u
How is going?
I thought about doing this as well! But my only concern would be that all the hair that’s sewn into the weft wouldn’t be stuck to the tape and tut would lose thickness. Did that happen once you cut the weft part off?
This sounds good but the shedding might be crazy
Yes I thought of that too. Now to actually do it😊
I made my own tape ins but with synthetic clip ins, the process was super easy and cost less than £10 and it was all thanks to you and this video ❤
How long did these tape ins last you? Would you still recommend it? I want to try this out it’s so smart 🥰
Looks so natural! Would love to see the take down process.
This is Beyond Incredible! Everyday their is a new hair extension technique. I am tired of lace front making"scalp" look real and it becomes time consuming. This is amazing and beginner friendly for someone low maintenance like me!!!! Thank you!
It works!! So I bough the actual tape extensions online $100 and i was not enough but I didn’t realize how bad It looked until I finish putting them on. So I came across this vid and it save my looks!! I had some clips ins so I went and removed the clips and did this it hoping they wouldn’t come off. Well they been on for two weeks no issues. They are a little heavies but you get use to it lol
Thank you!!
I loved this thank you for this cause whew them micro links on my thin hair dont be doing it 😮💨👌🏾❤️
Not to rain on anyones parade but this is not a good idea. The weft creates added weight to the tape in which can actually break your hair off at the root due to the hair not being strong enough to hold it. The adhesive on the tape itself can also cause breakage if it’s not compatible with your hair type or you don’t remove it correctly. You might look cute for 6-8 weeks but unless you don’t care about your natural hair then I wouldn’t advise it.
Love it! I'll be trying this for the first time. I got a far as making the tape extensions. I'll start the installation process tomorrow. I bought a bundle of hair from a local hair store and bought 360 count tape from Amazon for $10.99. I did well with learning and installing microlinks on my own hair, using wefts, stands, and i-tips, which I also made. So, I'm hoping this will go well, too. This was a really helpful tutorial. Thank you! Your hair looks fantabulous! (Gotta love RUclips).
Ahh! I’m so excited for you, let me know how it goes for you. Also don’t hesitate to ask me any questions, good luck babe and thanks for watching 😘
@@SherelleSaintRose it turned out beautifully. But I did peter out after a while. I did the back and sides, almost near the top. But it's so flat, you can't tell it isn't my hair. The color just happened to be the same as my own hair and it blended perfectly.
@@dajonick ahh I’m so happy for you! Are you enjoying them so far?
diy queen i love it
Hi ladies this looks amazing but does anyone know if this is better than clips? Is it more safe thanks
This is what I been looking for!!! Thanks Sis!!!
No problem love 💕
Hair poppin..skin poppin! You look good girl! 😍😍 I can't wait to try this because clip-ins can be annoying sometimes lol
Yas Hun, don’t forget to tell me how it turns out also thanks for the compliment! You are so sweet😘
I know it! I have clip ins and they help my hair grow easy to remove. But they are not flat and I can’t swim and shower with them because it will matt to my hair and start dreading because I have really curly hair.
Omgosh! This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much for sharing. Also your voice is so nice and soothing to listen to
Thank you for the compliment, let me know how it goes for you 🥰
I watched another video and it seemed like to much work I knew there has to be an easier WY! I get 20 tape 8ns for $70 dollars I'm so excited to make my own! Thank you so much for sharing you look awesome and what talent GF! I'm a hairdresser that is such a thinker you got this one ! Ps ladies if your going to color your welf always buy lighter it's easier for you to color them. You do not want to bleach them they will shed alot!!!!! This is such talkent!
Wow wee! Amazing results, what a good idea! Thank you and your natural hair looks so healthy too. Glad you recovered well. Would you be able to do a vid on how you remove the tape ins after please? 😀
Thank you! Recovery was long and tedious, hopefully I never end up back there again. Sure I can do that video done, thanks for watching ♥️
I love this!! What temperature is your flat iron on when your pressing the tape on the weft?! ❤️ xx
@EssenceofOma sorry I’m not actually sure what temperature I used, when I hear the glue sizzle a little I class it as done. Hope that helps 💗💗
Ok thank you I’ll just listen carefully, I’ve bought some tape and l can’t wait to try! 💕💕
Yayeeee! I will try them! I was looking for a tape in supplier but your gems was bomb. I will do it myself on bundled hair!
Definitely give it a try, I know you would love it 😊
How did it goooo?
My fav way too; queen! Buying 200 grams of European weft hair was HALF of the price of buying 70 tapes ins, and I was able to make 200 tapes PLUS have a meter of weft hair left. Thanks for the video, and well done on the hair growth ❤️
The best DIY Tape in video on RUclips. Your amazing thank you so much !!
Are the tape ins sticky on both sides of only 1 side? How do you get it to only be sticky on one side so you can sandwich your hair between 2 tape ins?
It's sticky on both sides just like double sided tape. You place the tape on the weft, leave the covering on the other side while flat ironing. Remove the covering and apply to the underside of your hair, repeat the process and apply to the over side of your hair sandwiching the hair between the two wefts. One side of the tape applies to the weft and the other to the hair.
@@ImpressDivinity ok thanks so much!!!!
This was jaw dropping!! I wear my hair in its natural curl pattern. I’d like to try this with my natural curl patterns!! Wow!!
You’re the BEST! Thx for sharing❤️❤️❤️
You are welcome sweetie 😍
Can you tell us how hot your flat iron is heated to to get the job done right? I want to make sure to adjust my flat iron to the right heat.
LOVE IT! Will be making my own💙💙
Thanks!! I want to add some burgundy highlights tapes but I've only found the color in wefts, not tapes. Trying this ❤
This is so helpful, I have so many bundles, but have been wanting tape ins! You look amazing btw! ❤
❤hello beautiful❤thinks for sharing this phantastic Video !
Can I also make my bonding-hair like this?
Best greetings ,Jenny ❤
Has anyone bought bundles from this company? How was the quality?
It looks amazing wow . You did an amazing job thank you for showing us theres no limits when it comes to hair length.
THAAAAAANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I have been shopping around looking for tape ins and they are hella expensive. I have so bundles that I want to use. That’ll you again. And btw ur hair is beautiful 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@DANYELLE BOWMAN You are welcome! Let me know how it turns out, also is you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask ♥️
I have Trich too!!!! How did you grow it???? I can't stop pulling!!!!! What did you do to grow back?
Almost spent 209 on a set when I have two customized (my real hair is a weird color) perfect sets of clip ins and now I’m just gonna turn one into tape ins! I stopped using them because they tug on my already (sorta) thin hair
Hi. Quick question...are these bundles single or double weft? Should I split my bundles to make them thinner and easier to work with?
That's what I want to know
It looks great! I'm shocked with how short your hair is. I'm starting iv chemo and I also have type 2 albinism and after a lifetime of dying my hair dark brown, I'm afraid to grow out my natural color and look like a Barbie just as much probably as I'm scared to lose my hair. I'm going to try this with my extra extensions. Is there a good way to turn them into seamless tape-ins?
How did you get past your habit of polling? I have exact problem since I was sixteen and just cannot stop pulling. 😢
I’m trying this for sure!! Tapes are so expensive for a full head! Thanks so much for this video xx
i ain’t watched the video yet but i have to comment. thank you for this sis. tape ins are expensive as hell and i can’t figure out why.
Yes I know! So expensive is not enough hair. Let me know if you try this method
Thankyou sooooo much for this video! Can you tell me which tapes you order from Amazon? Is there a particular vendor you use? I'm going to try this! Yes you're right the tape in bundles are not enough this Will allow me to add extensions with more hair! Again thank you for this valuable video!
Can you cut the weft or is it better to just leave it alone ?
Leave the weft alone 😢 you will get lots of shading.
I'm sure this method will give you more than the 20 pieces per bundle they sell. I'd rather do this. Thanks 😉
Well done for overcoming such a horrific OCD xx
I'm trying this ASAP!
Hey love I have read human hair clip in extensions can I do it with those as well ? Also the hair is 180g would it be enough for tape in extensions? What the the tape called again ? Thank you 😊
Can you cut off the sewn weft part and tape the hair directly to the strip of tape? That way the sewn part isn’t attached to your hair?
If I use silicone hair products on my hair while I have tape in hair extensions in,will the silicone brake down the glue in my tape in hair extensions?
Watching because I'm doing this right this second 😅
This came out amazing. How do you remove them?
Girllllll Thank you because tape in's are expensive for no reason !!!
Omg I’m so happy I discovered this video 🤸🏿♀️😍😍😍😍😍😍
So damn pretty!!!! Can’t wait to try this!!!
Don’t forget to update me!
About how many did you have in your head? You know when you buy tape ins and it’s like 20 per bundle. Thanks for this video! I’m making some right now!✨
You had me at Sherelle ;) new subbie
You had me at Cherrelle! Lol thanks for subscribing love 💕
I absolutely love it will be attempting this summer time for sure thanks a million ✨
New Subscriber 🎉
You are welcome love! Hope it goes well form you ♥️
But after one wash they will slide down
If they are installed correctly they shouldn’t
When you do this version (DIY) are they still reusable?
Normal tape ins that you’d buy aren’t reusable unless you change the tape on tab. So this would be the same, clean the tape off after each use and repeat the process.
Thank you!! I need to do my hair and I have some wefts left over!! I didn’t wanna do another sewin.
How do you remove them? Same as a glue in? I love you for this I knew it was creative cheaper way
I was planning on getting a wash and set before my tape in should I tell them no condition you know they be having it slickkkkkkk
damn i wish i woulda seen this before wasting my money on these horrid ass tape ins i spent 200$ on 😖
Girl shut up. I'm definitely doing this
😍Thankyou for review love super super pretty!!💗
You’re welcome
So I can’t do a Deep conditioning of my hair after shampooing?
Gonna do some today 😍
I dont think your supposed to add heat to these tape ins anymore ftok ny understanding but thats the type i use. I thought you were doing it bc ur adding to the weft but u did it on ur hair too. I was told comp unnecessary and u can actually mess it up bc it sticks to tge flat iron or can stick to it .. just dont wash ur hair once placed for 48 hours and should be good to go
I bought some PU strip tapes to have as a base to put the double sided tape on and still be able to reuse. Im just not sure how to use PU! Maybe the flatiron method you shared here...
The weft really should be removed when making your own tape ins.
How’d you dye your hair?.
Soooooo, I'm about to try this, today. My bundles are drying and my hair is clean and pressed. Hopefully I don't mess up. 😁
How did it go for you sis?
I'm doing this! I need some volume. I tried a sew in and got scared. 😂 tape ins don't scare me as much.
Congrats on your hair growing back! Thank you got this video! Also your skin is looking lovely! ❤️
I'm thinking of trying tapeins near my leave out on my sew in so it will blend better!
So you don't cut the stitches after you applied the tape
Can you wash them whilst there in?Will they slip out?x
Her voice is so soft and relaxing
What if you cut the sown portion but seal the hair with keratin so theres no shedding and lays flat
TikTok tired it in
I got 3 bundles in my box, haven’t used them, I just had them because …. I did microlinks and it ruined my hair, I heard tapes are better. I think I know what to do
Oh no! Iv recently been trying microlink, I love them. How did they ruin your hair? Hope you have a better time with tape ins
The pulling and pressure you apply on your hair trough the beads. My boyfriend would literally pickup individual microlink hair in the bed with the beads and my hair attached. It broke my long hair. Never again. I have naturally think hair so maybe that’s why.
@@SherelleSaintRose it sounds as thought this person's beads had been closed too tightly which definitely cuts the hair and damages it. However if installed properly it is a gorgeous and great process. I say tape ins are definitely a safer process.
Woooooooow Game changer!!!!! I work out everyday, will the slip out?
They shouldn’t, I wash mine every week ☺️
I would love to be someone’s model in Oklahoma! 😉
Hi Sherelle, have you got a link to the tape ins you used please .
Did you leave a row of your own hair out in between each row of tapes? X
I did sometimes when I felt the that the area was looking too full, hope this helps x
This video was so amazing!!! Thank you so much
So helpful. I had wefts from a sew in using my betterlengths and I simply cannot do sew ins back to back. I have lightscalp lol she needs air. This was a life saver. Thank you for sharing this!!!!!
How did it turn out for you?
@@stephaniea2866 great they didn’t last as long as the ones you buy that are made but they lasted a month and a week
How do you remove them and do they damage the hair when you do take them out
So you didnt remove the track ?
Yes I love this !! Got some old bundles will defo try this with THANK YOU 🙏😂❤️
You are welcome love 😍
What degrees do you put the flat iron on?!
Could you post a video of you installing the tap ins that you made and did they last the same amount as the regular tape ins
I thought this was the video🤔
Great job, looks fantastic 👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You're awesome thank you
