Natasha I must compliment you on your introductions!. All of your introductions before the tutorials begin are so exciting. To see the way you present your creations. The sounds of beads or crumpled paper, your lovely hands showing the pockets, or inserts etc.everything ,the turning of the pages. It's like so tempting to want to see the rest. Great introduction.
Aww, you're so right, ma'am. My folks are in their late 70s and are work o' holics . They give me not nice lectures on why I do all this stuff to keep sane! But then they go do their own fun things' just not art. Adds to my anxiety disorders. 😢Natasha's community is just priceless. Love you girls.🇦🇺💖
Hold on, stop the music and shut down the press! You have outdone yourself. This is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us always praying so much and like man, enjoyment, happiness. In my way yes, it literally makes me wanna cry.😅
Wow! I love these! Grown up paper dolls. I loved paper dolls when I was little. I also used to draw dresses and gowns but haven't done that in over 60 years. I think I'll be doing it again soon. ;)
Your videos are not only a pleasure to watch, but so informative, and inspirational, WOW, doesn't really cover it, you're extremely artistic. Thankyou for your time. Sending best wishes from the UK. XXX
When I was a kid I had Fashion Plates and played with those endlessly. This is sort of a grown up version of that! When I watched your video making the whimsical mason jars I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it, but I tried it and it’s one of my favorite Treasure Books tutorials. I imagine this project is similar, you just start and then get lost in fun and playing. Those mason jars looked fabulous in my journals and I expect the same will go for these fun ladies with their glorious skirts. I can’t wait to give it a go!
Natasha: oh,- this looks like fun. I especially like the idea that you put them on file folders that become notepads. Now,- The Bold and Beautiful soap opera has been on forever. I’ve watched it off and on for years. The funniest thing about it, is that you don’t really miss much through the years. It moves so slow, and can become a bit boring. In fact, I’ve been known to turn it off because of that reason. Some of the original characters are actually still on the program. Incredible! That type of entertainment has interested me for years and I find it to be a topic of conversations once in a while. Talk about getting into other people’s business. Unbelievable! Like you said,- a break from reality, or not! Carol from California
Natasha there is just really no words that I can say that everybody else has already said!! But your work and imagination and everything is just amazing. I’d love watching your videos, you make them learning, sometimes comedy very enjoyable and entertaining. I can watch them over and over and still learn something new. Thank you very much for what you do Natasha.❤
Wow!! I don’t watch B&B but I did have a desire to design clothing when I was a teen. I made a halter top once (they were a thing in the early 70’s) and wore it out of the house once. I was at the mall where I was shocked to learn I showing sideboob. I sucked at design… lol I do want to try this. It’s not meant to be serious and the way you do it, it just looks like fun! Thank you for the inspiration and for sharing your talent with the rest of us. ❤
Omg SIMPLY WONDERFUL!!!🤗 So fun!!! A while back I made some of these lovely ladies using fabric strips. They are fabulous!!!💖I simply love your take on this project!!! Anxious to make some. You are an amazing artist/crafter. 💖 THE BEST! Also I adore the humor you inject into your videos. A big hug and thank you!🤗 Blessings always and Feel better soon💖
When I first saw what this video was about, I admit, I thought, oh, not something I would make, but I'm watching it anyway. Like so many others, I just enjoy watching. HOWEVER, by the time it was over, my mind was racing of all the ways I could use this idea! So, once again, thank you!😊❤
I LOVE these! I think my granddaughters will love them too (eventually...I have five from 3 months to 5 years old) but I'm going to make them all notepads with dressed up ladies on the front! Loving your ideas Natasa, you're the best!
Just when I think there's nothing left for you to show us... 🤔 *YOU COME UP WITH THESE!!!* Oh wow these are beautiful. I *LOVE* the brown one with the frame over her face and the pearls trailing down. My second favourite is the bluey greeny skirt you made on camera with the vintage serious looking lady. Stunning! You're amazing. I've saved up some lawnmowered grass, some snotty tissues, the hair I cut off that was in my eyes, some used make up remover cotton pads, my toenail clippings, and the spaghetti bolognese remnants I scraped out the pot. I'm boxing it all up and marking it Happy Mail for you. No doubt you'll turn it into a large shimmery jewelled turquoise majestic butterfly, glued onto a journal cover! 😳 I don't know what you do, or why you do what you do, or why your brain moves in mysterious ways... But keep doing it. I'm here for it. You never fail to blow my brain up. I've watched you for years and you're probably one of VERY FEW CRAFTERS, who have consistently upped their game over the years and continuously brought us something new every time. Thank you. 😘 xxxxx
Natasha, you have to be one of the finest artists on You Tube. This is so fantastic!! And I love how you see art in everything. Love, love, love your artwork.
Queen Victoria I think is your lady. I think she would be amused with her skirt. I love this idea. Every new tutorial is my new favourite😂. I cannot wait to get started. Thank you for giving your Treasure family some light relief in this crazy world we are living in just now. 💜💜💜
wow. I was born to do this.. When I was a kid I used to make paper clothes for my paper dolls. Drew them, colored them and painted them, made tabs so they wouldn"t fall off. I used to copy some clothes from catalogs and some I made up. Thank You for this rush down memory lane
We were so creative when we were kids I believe it was because technology did not exist. Thankfully. I used to do this with furniture. I loved creating new ways to create funky furniture. It was a dream to be a furniture designer.
Yeah, that’s a beautiful way to use scraps and magazine images. It makes for a great looking cover for any book or notebook. Loved the video, inspiration galore! Will definitely use this concept for my next project 👍♥️❗️
I must admit I almost passed this video up because it didn’t look like anything I wanted to do. However, I’m so glad I didn’t! It is something I absolutely need in my life🥰. I will be making these for tags/journaling ephemera in my junk journal. Again Natasha, you outdid yourself…so stinkin’ clever! Your method of teaching is phenomenal when you provide so many different uses of one idea. Something for everyone!❤️❤️
OMG Natasha. I was just thinking recently how I wish you would come up with a type of paper doll to make. I love love these. They are adorable, whimsical and Victorian too. Thank you for sharing. You amaze me. Love your humor and your childlike play. I,m so going to try these❣️❣️
I think the image of the "Victorian" lady looks like Mary Todd Lincoln....backside looked like it was the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. I love how it turned out, and the bow definitely looks like she has a bustle! I will have to give this a try.
My goodness these are great! All of them! I love how you added the "bling" to really bring them to life! I think they'd be great with fabric scraps as well! Thank you!
Feel better soon, Natasha. And omgoodness. I just love love the mermaid, she's precious. All of your ladies are lovely. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Sending big hugs Sherry ❤❤❤
I love them! My favorite is the mermaid 🧜♀️ Makes me want to jump up and go make one. (I would, but just got back from having dental work) maybe tomorrow ♥️
I was more of a ‘General Hospital’ kinda gal 🤣 oh the drama…. Love the whimsy of this idea. I have always loved the house and mushroom shapes you have previously made in this style. Thanks Natasa And thank you for the reminder of the paint skins!
I love this one soooooo much. You continue to draw me in with each video you generously share with us. We come for the creative inspiration, but YOUR CHARM IS ALWAYS THE CHERRY ON TOP 🍒 ❤ I couldn't send the comment without saying that this particular video speaks to my heart ❤ I used to play with paper dolls when I was a young girl. I guess that's where I gained the skill of being a top tier fussy cutter 😂 TFS ♥🥰
These are cute dolls. The lace "belt" would be called a peplum in dress or jacket fashion design. Peplums were quite popular for a time in the mid 70s.
I tried using teabags over magazine images in the past and often that confused my images too much. I switched to coffee-staining of magazine pages and to watercoloring. Also, thanks to this video, I started in Pinterest a new collection of inspirations of whimsical persons and other creatures. I am sure I can doddle something of my own after looking at them and add the collaged skirts to those. Pure fun. And no, I do not feel guilty for desiring and exercising this kind of fun either. Totally normal and healthy hobby. Last takeaway from this video is those whimsical circles on mermaid’s tail.
OMG, my granddaughter is asking me to make her a fairy book with paper dolls! This is perfect. You have a wonderful creativeness & sense of whimsy. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for all the hard work that you put into your channel I truly do appreciate it. This is such an amazing idea when I see this I was so excited have fun and Whimsical and amazing idea thank you for all the cool projects that you come up with. Please take care and I look forward to your next video. And I definitely going to try this thank you for your inspiration again I look forward to your next video.
Played along with you. Made a modern and a fairy one. Wasn’t sure what to do with them because I do not put people and faces in my journals. But putting them on my file folders seems like a fun idea. I do love your videos. TFS ❤
I simply love the beautiful idea. And yes it is like a child playing with paper and it’s amazing ❤ it transports me to my childhood because my mom was a seamstress and she’s always had something to do with scissors ✂️, papers, threads 🧵 to make beautiful things ❤. Thank you so, so much for another wonderful video 🥰
Natasha I love this project. My granddaughter is an Art Major in college and on the weekends she works in an art studio teaching arts to Middle School and younger children. She has been looking for a project for her girls and this will be perfect! Thank you for your wonderful ideas.
So much Fun and creative, indeed playful! I also loved all things dressing up as a child, could play and fantacise forever! These girls and ladies are absolutely Adorable 🥰 ❤
Oh this looks like so much fun!! Can't wait to have a go. No I don't watch Bold and Beautiful but your designs are bold and really beautiful. Love what you do. You never disappoint. ❤
You certainly captured my attention from the get go, Natasha. The intro into your tutorial is so captivating. I love this idea of play and pretense and all the while completing another project. You did put a smile on my face when you played with words and your voice. To put big lips on or not tis the question. We CAN have fun as adults and I'm a grandmother with grown grandchildren. Then again I've always said I'll be that little girl inside me forever. I am going to watch the video with the acrylic paint. It looks almost like leather fabric. Thank you for not only sharing all of this but for bringing me some sunshine on this dreary and rainy day where I live alone. ❤️🪡🧵🪻🪻🪻🪻
You are such an inspiration to me! I didn’t have much to craft with as a kid, flour & water paste, Easter egg foil wrappers, old wrapping paper, that sort of stuff but I managed to make “beautiful” projects that I was proud of. Now I can afford to buy supplies but I still love collecting rubbish and junk, bits n pieces, scraps…you name it - and repurposing them to make lovely pieces even other people love. It makes me happy 😊 I just need to make money from my crafts so I don’t have to go back to looking for a “real job” lol. Thank you for your wonderful creative mind Natasja, you have the best ideas, your work is amazing, your videos well made and you are so funny it makes the whole experience worthwhile! Have a great week 🤗🤗
This is absolutely amazing and it take me back to my childhood where me and my sister play dress up with pieces of material. Definitely going to try this out ❤
So much fun! Thank you. I have collected ome whimsical images from children's books I bought at my local library book sale. Now I know what to do with them. I also have an idea for a chunky vintage notebook journal. I'm inspired. It's raining today where I live. I'm going to bring out my multiple stashes and get busy. 😍🤩
this is amazing! I love saving catalogs and magazine images of clothes I like or models I like but it's so hard to use them late, this is stunning!!!!! when I was younger I would cut up all the pictures and kind of make my own outfits😂😂but doing this I can actually use them in my art journals and stuff
This tutorial is so inspirational! Wait, when are Natasha videos not?🤔😅 I love watching you create. Your tutorials are unique & literally packed with inspiration, tips & wonderful silliness! So relaxing to watch! I just love ya girl! Tfs!Take care, get well soon, hugs❤

So very creative! It takes a child's play with paper dolls to an adult version of playing with paper dolls. Love the idea!

Lovely, simply lovely. So clever and easy to accomplish. Much appreciation for your time and crafting uniqueness.

TFS ♥🥰
These are cute dolls. The lace "belt" would be called a peplum in dress or jacket fashion design. Peplums were quite popular for a time in the mid 70s.
Tfs! Love your imagination! Pretending to be a fashion designer would be fun! Haha I've never played w skirts, but now I may give it a try!❤❤❤
So, so creative!! And everyone should play every day!

Fun way to use up scraps. Thanks for all of your ideas .
Glad you like them!
What a glorious idea! I can't wait to do this! And we all need to play!
Have fun!
Sweet!❤❤❤❤
