one of the things i LOVE about you is how mindful you are about not wasting materials. for example, using up the extra paint & making those extra paper pieces. i'm frugal too
That is one of the things I love about Natasa. I rarely buy stuff. I recently purchased a couple of pads of very pretty, special paper. My dear Husband made some derogatory comments about the cost of my hobby. I grabbed my box of paper ruffles rolls, my envelopes with paper fans, paper strips, small paper ruffles, clusters, tags, tabs; all of those things made from scraps. He was speechless.
My Momma passed away and I’m having a difficult time discarding her kitchen towels and potholders. I was hoping I could find a way to use them. She cooked many a meal for the sick as well as her family. I truly appreciate you finding a way to let me keep her memories alive. Bless you.
I just don’t know how you do it, do you ever sleep or are you lying awake thinking up all these outstandingly awesome ideas?! This is just amazing and you always make everything look so beautiful! Thank you very much for all that you so kindly do for us crafters. 🥰🏆🥇❤️🏴🌻
I've said it before, your imagination and creativity knows no bounds! I have never considered using towels! But then, I use mine till they are pretty much rags!
Thats Just Mixed Media, instead of using "regular" cloth, use towels. You could also use up t Shirts, Jeans, bags, blankets, curtains, jackets etc. Did you know about Spaghetti "wool" made out of cloth?
You have many attributes! Your clean, tidy, organised, thoughtful prep and presentation will always make me keep coming back forever. Thanks Natasha, you make a difference to all our lives 🎉❤😂
Apart from this, another one of your amazing ideas, I learned how to make prints from a plastic sheet and paint! Thanks for your generosity in sharing your creations!
You are SOOO prepared! So many finished items, plus directions for us to make our own. You are never hunting for stuff on your desk. Everything is right there. You are my favorite! God bless you. ❤
What a fun idea! Some of these make me think the background is a bit of rug or carpet, rather than a towel. You're so right that the finished products look far better than the towels did to start with. And that last little piece you showed that you haven't finished yet might make a great bookmark! Thank you for all your wonderful creations, Natasa. I love your channel so much!
Yes, bookmarks! I was thinking a spine pen loop or something along those lines for those smaller pieces! Or even a pen case for a pocket or purse. Although I don’t know how it would handle being roughed up. 😊
I just feel the need to tell you that after watching others videos for years compared to the little time that I watched you I have learned so much and you make me excited to create my creations, thank you so much ❤❤❤❤
Absolutely love these ideas. You are SO creative. Love using the towels-I love textures too. Thank you for taking the time to show us how you do this and all of your creative process. This one is definitely bookmarked. (I have a lot of your videos - most - bookmarked)
Where are we going to find room to save all this stuff until Natasha makes a video and tells us what to do with it? Honestly, she’s made me afraid to literally to throw anything away! Natasha! You are something else, it’s all I can say anymore ❤
I'll never throw an old towel away again. This is brilliant. You are, indeed, a creative genius. I can't put into words how much you inspire me. Many, many thanks, Natasha.
Yesterday I threw away towels, today when I saw this video, I just take out the towels from the garbage can , and if I still see your videos I think nothing is going through away, thank you , I loved your ideas ,❤️
I’ve said it before but I will say it again: your projects are so unique and creative. Love how you use household materials in a new and beautiful way. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas with us 😊
I wanted to report that my momma is staying with me she has been sick so we did this as a thing to do that would help to pass time and spend time together. So we have done 18 of them out of the towels thank you for the wonderful idea. ❤❤❤
I have saved a few towels that I cross stitched on that I didn’t want to throw away and planned on using them for journal covers, I like this idea of transforming regular towels too
Thank you SO MUCH for this video, Natasha. 🥹🙏🏼 Last year, I bought a whole stash of new towels and thought about using the old ones for junk journals. I haven't been inspired to what to actually use the towels for, but cutting them up and gluing them on to journal pages as pockets. I even deliberately searched on RUclips what to do with terry cloth in a junk journal and came up with absolutely nothing. A lot of sewing tutorials for sewing bags and stuff. Which is amazing but really not what I've been looking for. In the end I just kept the old towels for cleaning purposes and such. I'm glad that I did, since now you gifted us with such wonderful inspiration as to what to do with them. ❤👍🏼
I don’t have old towels, but I do have a book of sample upholstery fabrics. Can’t wait to dig those out and use your ideas. Your work is amazing and so inspiring.!
Wow! Who would have thunk it? I am blown away. I have used many unexpected industrial, clothing and household bits but never thought of a towel. They are quite charming!
Another amazing project idea. You never disappoint with your ideas/projects/master pieces. I wish I could spend a day in your head! LOL. Thank you for working so hard to share your beautiful creations with us. ~ Lisa.❤
I inherited a box of beautiful buttons, some look like pieces of jewelry, and I was looking for videos to inspire me what to do with them. I can definitely use some of them to do few things like your crafts here. I’m thinking to hung them on the wall, maybe mounted in a shadow box. Thank you so much for sharing your work and ideas. ❤️
Beautiful!!! I am excited! I have “mid” towels, still pretty, not yet destroyed- but at the top of the heap for “next” in line …. These will be perfect! It makes me happy. I like the idea of giving them a brand new life🎉 Cinderella gets to go to the ball!! 😂
You said, “I love gold.” And I started laughing when I heard myself say out loud, “Yes, we all know!” 😂 From watching so many of your videos over the last 18 months or so, I started really liking all your gold elements! I realized how adding anything gold really adds a “touch of class” somehow, even the smallest thing! So, I bought gold paper clips and mini gold binder clips for junk journals, and am now on the lookout for other gold elements! 👍🏻😊 I think using gold in all your projects has really become your super power! 🥰
Estoy impresionada de su talento y creatividad para producir cosas tan hermosas y amables con nuestro medio ambiente. Gracias por compartinos su arte. Un cálido saludo desde Perú.
Hi Natasha! Love this idea! I was fortunate enough yesterday to get several stamps, stencils and some paint. And with today being Saturday, I plan on crafting most of the day! Anytime I have the time to craft and create, that’s a good day and a fun day. Funny you did some with glitter as I bought the prettiest red paint with glitter in it yesterday too. It’s a beautiful fall red. So I’m inspired to jump in and get to it!! Thanks for such a lovely idea. I hope you have a great weekend and week Natasha. See you soon! ❤️💜💚
I love rich texture, and this is a fantastic way to add it into my journals! I have used sheets and curtains, but never towels. Thank you for thinking outside the box. I'm excited to try this!
I was going to give my old stained towels and blankets, both of which I have an abundance, to the local animal shelter since it's gotten so cold here in SE Idaho. I may have to pull out at least a couple for trying your fun idea. I really enjoy keeping a journal in which I write my prayers and other contemplations. I bought a set of 3 really nice hardcover undated and lined journals. They are lovely as is, but I think I'm going to do a bit of decorating on the journal I'm currently using. I'll wait until I need a new journal to decorate another cover. They'll be easier to store that way, especially if I decide to add a lot of texture. But my current journal will be even that much more attractive sitting out on my table. The texture is what I love about your idea to use the towels. Thanks for sharing!
Towels, hey? Excellent! Thanks! was also thinking of hoodies and leggings. I generate a lot of those and feel bad throwing the whole thing when they are "done".
Hello, your idea is absolutely amazing. I love it. It's so smart and beautiful. I think your creative ideas are one of the of the best ones. You use everything around you, not like others who use only expensive material's. Good job! Thank you for sharing and the inspiration. Regards from the Middle East.
They are all gorgeous. I wouldn’t have thought of using old towels to make journal covers. I love you stash of odds and ends that you add to the towels. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas. A hint for cutting a straight line the first time. Use a quilting ruler and rotary cutter.
You sold me on it 🥰 Lovely range of techniques involved, all things I can use in different projects too. I must admit, by the time my towels count as 'old' there isn't that much left of them - they finish up as rags. I'll keep my eye on the next one that's wearing thin... Thanks for yet more inspiration!
This is absolutely brilliant, I love them! I do a lot of mixed media art, so ive used doilies, lace, ribbon, etc.. but never thought to use towels, they provide wonderful texture, and yours look amazing. Thanks so much. 💕😊
Natasha, another brilliant and creative idea! Everything you make turns out so beautifully! Thank you for showing us how to make so many great creations and for continually providing so much inspiration!
Love these ideas!I have some old towels and all I think of is cleaning rags - (ha I almost never clean). Not only are your ideas the best, your video lessons are also the best I've come across (you dont waste our time), and we get to see your beautiful nails :) thanks, Natasa!
This is such a great idea. I have some older white wash cloths which must have gotten washed with something red, because now they are a very light pink. Just too pink to be used for “best”. This might be a way to give them another life. Thanks for always inspiring us!😊❤
What would I do without you Natasa? You bring us so many new ideas every week, thank you so much! I love this idea, something I would never have thought of and I do have quite a few old towels I can use. Love and hugs, oh and some for Banjo of course!
Your ability to visual ways to recycle almost anything just blows me away!! The creative ways you come up with are just astonishingly beautiful!!
Thank you so much 😀
one of the things i LOVE about you is how mindful you are about not wasting materials. for example, using up the extra paint & making those extra paper pieces. i'm frugal too

Who else is speechless? Natasa, you would make a wonderful craft show host! Your success is very deserving. ❤
I’d watch it for sure!
Thank you so much :)
Que belleza!
Gracias por compartir tus ideas tan creativas, me inspirastes para ver, dónde no veía...felicitaciones por tu imaginación y creatividad!
My Momma passed away and I’m having a difficult time discarding her kitchen towels and potholders. I was hoping I could find a way to use them. She cooked many a meal for the sick as well as her family.
I truly appreciate you finding a way to let me keep her memories alive.
Bless you.
I'm so sorry about your lost 🙏. Maybe you can do a Junk Journal with all her favorite stuff using her towels.
What an amazing idea. They all look so cool!
Aww, I'm so sorry. Sending love and hugs.🤗💖🇭🇲
She’s amazing at up cycling!!
You could have the tea towels made Into a teddy 🧸 and keep some to put into a memory journal x x
Natasha, not only are you brilliant and so talented, but your sense of humor! Love watching you. Thank you for sharing your gift.
Thank you so much!
I never would have thought my old towels could be more than rags. Thanks for sharing your creativity!
Thanks for watching!
There appears to be absolutely no end to your creativity!
Нет, ни то, что конца…. Нет предела….
I just don’t know how you do it, do you ever sleep or are you lying awake thinking up all these outstandingly awesome ideas?! This is just amazing and you always make everything look so beautiful! Thank you very much for all that you so kindly do for us crafters. 🥰🏆🥇❤️🏴🌻
Not only must she never sleep thinking of all these ideas let’s discuss how she cranks out so many examples every time. She’s a machine 😅 I love her ❤
What would we do without our “shinking pears”? Natasha, you’re the best. 😂🤣
I love her accent. Sometimes I listen to her videos while I’m cleaning or cooking and then when I have time I go back and watch, with amazement!
I thought I’d miss heard that comment 😆
I've said it before, your imagination and creativity knows no bounds! I have never considered using towels! But then, I use mine till they are pretty much rags!
Your ideas are always fabulous, your mind must work in overdrive, love everything you created, thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekend.
Thank you! You too!
Thats Just Mixed Media, instead of using "regular" cloth, use towels.

Did you know about Spaghetti "wool" made out of cloth?
@heikesiegl2640 what is spaghetti wool?
You have many attributes! Your clean, tidy, organised, thoughtful prep and presentation will always make me keep coming back forever. Thanks Natasha, you make a difference to all our lives 🎉❤😂

Lol@Shinking Pears! Love it!
Those are so unbelievably beautiful.
Thank you! Cheers!
DITTO I have no patience for crafters who are not prepared.
You are an excellent teacher.
Thank you! 😃
Truly, incredibly gorgeous results. I would not have believed this would work, but WOW.
Thank you so much :)

The texture adds richness! I have some of that strange web-like trim and now you’ve given me an idea on how to use it.
I absolutely love this idea.
Thank you! 😊
I'll never throw an old towel away again. This is brilliant. You are, indeed, a creative genius. I can't put into words how much you inspire me. Many, many thanks, Natasha.
Natasha is the most creative RUclipsr I follow and that’s saying a lot, because I follow so many incredibly talented channels ❤

Girl, you cease to amaze me, absolutely stunning. I'm going to add a back cover to the front pin pocket piece and sew down individual pen spots.
Thank you ❤️
I use shinking pears all the time…great art supply!
How unique! I LOVE GLITTER. It makes me happy
Absolutely fabulous, dahling!
At first I wondered what in the world you were doing, running out of ideas maybe, but at the end I see what another marvelous idea you have Natasha 💐
Now that's 'out of the box' thinking! Amazing results!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you SO MUCH for this video, Natasha. 🥹🙏🏼

Truly 'believe & inspire' I'm too inspired to reuse my old towels to decorate my project books. Thank you.
At first glance, I thought the towels were a blankets of seed beads. This is so much more accessible & affordable. Lots of inspo. Thanks!!!😁
Glad it was helpful!
God has gifted you with an amazingly artistic eye and imagination.
Bravo Natasha .! You made it again 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Your imagination is amazing! 😮

Awesome! Thank you!
Lol Now I wish I'd have grabbed all the old kitchen towels when I was going to House Auctions 20+ years ago! Darn!
Из обычного полотенца такая красота,вы умница и ручки золотые.
I do have some old towels! Feeling inspired to maybe use greens to make a moss look... hmm... ❤
Absolutely love this idea. Anything to do with keeping things out of the garbage, I love. They are beautiful ❤❤❤

Natasha, God gave you all the talent and left us without any. Great job!
"Shinking peers" made me laugh so hard, and I needed that. Another wonderful video, and terrific idea! Thank you!
Thank you so much :)

Glad you like it!
You are the queen Natash, you can think out of the box you are amazing.

They are all gorgeous. I wouldn’t have thought of using old towels to make journal covers. I love you stash of odds and ends that you add to the towels. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas.
A hint for cutting a straight line the first time. Use a quilting ruler and rotary cutter.
Fabulous!
Thank you ❤️
You sold me on it 🥰 Lovely range of techniques involved, all things I can use in different projects too. I must admit, by the time my towels count as 'old' there isn't that much left of them - they finish up as rags. I'll keep my eye on the next one that's wearing thin... Thanks for yet more inspiration!
Genius, you are!!!!!!
Thank you ❤️
This is absolutely brilliant, I love them! I do a lot of mixed media art, so ive used doilies, lace, ribbon, etc.. but never thought to use towels, they provide wonderful texture, and yours look amazing. Thanks so much. 💕😊

Omg, Im so happy I Found your channel. My compliments on what a lovely teacher you are 👏👏👏🥰
This is such a great idea. I have some older white wash cloths which must have gotten washed with something red, because now they are a very light pink. Just too pink to be used for “best”. This might be a way to give them another life. Thanks for always inspiring us!😊❤
This is amazing .. A great idea to use up odd embellishments and scraps .. yes I feel inspired
Thanks so much!
