Great build guys. I am upgrading from a Reefer 350 to 525xl. Fortunately I am keeping all my old equipment (Apex, Omega 180i, MP40s, etc.). The only new equipment I am adding is Trident. The cabinet doors to my stand are damaged and Red Sea is very slow with replacements. I love the aquas cape.

Looks great and expensive. Didnt see you talk about it but did you grab the reeflink to run the lights and vortechs from ecotech live.
I'd add a dos and trident and ca rx if your going all out😁

He does have the reeflink on my advice... A must have if you have EcoTech products. And told him a ca rx is the way to go! Love mine

Hey - just bought this tank - looking at your cable management board - which one do you get - also did there have to be modifications for it to fit in the cabinet? Also, I'm torn between Reef Octopus Elite and this NYOS Quatum Protein Skimmer - which one and why?

See he already used a different fuge light but I was able to mount a h80 on the side glass by putting it on backwards if that makes sense? The set screw was on the inside.

How are those torqs reactors working? I was looking at picking one up but read some reviews about the lid popping off and throwing water out of the sump.

He hasn't told me of those problems. However he does say that the reactor is difficult to adjust.

I just bought a kohler 20kw home generator... forsure overkill, but I’m setting up a near 500g total water volume system. Will pay for itself if anything ever happens.
