This is perfect. I've been looking at getting the XL 425 G2 Deluxe for my next aquarium. It's in the plan for when we move soon. It'll also be running the whole RedSea system. Their app is fantastic and I recommend anyone thinking of going down this route to get one. I think deluxe are overpaid.I bought reefer 625 XXL g2 for 3000 euro .skimmer,pump and Light another 2000 euro.Price for deluxe starting over 5000 only for tank and Lights.
I’ve got the original 425XL it’s amazing to see all the improvements that have been made on the new series. The Red Sea team definitely took the criticisms of the older models to heart. I do love a good build series, excited to follow along! 🐠🪸
I would decide if you’ll be running a reefmat first and then size a skimmer to that later on. I have a reefmat 500 running on a new reefer 350 build and even without a skimmer I already have to dose no3 and po4 as the RM alone strips the tank 😂
If they are so confident why do they charge on the extended warranty? They are not sure they will last. 5years?

how did you install the ball head into the white / black feet ?
Hi, we used a small rubber mallet to get the ball in the socket.
What skimmer you gonna run on this guys?
We are still discussing equipment but its looking like a full Red Sea set up. Any suggestions?
