Thank you. Curb delivery looks easy
I think this is a good insight for Americans to how big their houses are compared to us lot in the uk, they always have so much floor space to put things and we are always struggling for room . Love the video keep it going
Thank you very much and yeah absolutely haha not much room at all
I've just bought a Redsea Reefer 350 from Kraken. Upgrading from a Max Nano feels a big step up! These videos are useful, thanks!

Sooo I’ve got an innovitech X-filter roller coming tomorrow 🙌🏻☺️ doesn’t need plumbing in ✅

Thank you so much ☺️
Nice Tank I have a refer 240. Wish I had room for a 350. 👍🏻
Oooh do you yeah I think this is an amazing size tbh
@@Colettesmarinetank if you have room for a 6820 litre tank I have one for sale £700 with stand and filters.
Would make a amazing reef tank if you add a 5 foot sump. 😄 I just don’t have the room now we moved house ☹️
I'm excited for you 🙂
Thank you ☺️ 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Just came across your channel, So I’ve subbed, I’m intrigued with the build of this awesome tank, cabinet and sump, and your plans for its development, looking forward to the transfer, it’ll be great 👍 all the best. 👍🏴
Thank you so much for subscribing really appreciate it and can’t wait to show you the next update ☺️
Wow your pretty x
It might be worth getting your bio alls cycling in your old tank to start harvesting bacteria to kick start the new syestem
Great thinking I did this 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Looking back through all your Red Sea videos. At 1:38 you show the (initial) position by the staircase. Did you use a (wooden/manmade/other) board to fit under the Tank Cabinet, so that the Adjustable Feet don't sit unevenly on the carpet (lots of weight to support)? I have to do something similar and I'm having to decide between putting a board on the carpet or directly on the concrete floor - (for me) almost one ton of System Weight (with water) to support.
I didn’t no but I have put directly onto carpet tiles and changed the height of the feet a few times to level out but I’m in rented if I’d have owned my home I would have 100% gone straight into concrete flooring
@@Colettesmarinetank The Carpet is not a “keeper” and is 30+ years old. I have decided to put the Cabinet (625 G2) directly on the Concrete Floor and put the Carpet back around it. For a Rented Property, without this option, would an “Q-Board Backerboard (H)2400mm (W)600mm (T)20mm” from B&Q (£22) - or similar, be a good solution? 😀The Carpet will compress more evenly - especially if you avoid Carpet Grippers near the Wall e.g., place the Board/Cabinet/Tank 3” away from the Wall. PS I might be tempted to get two of these for my own install.
@@foxglovemead yeah absolutely that would have been a way better solution and I wish I had been more prepared I’d have definitely done it differently if I had to do it allover again
@@Colettesmarinetank I follow your Videos because with hindsight there is always a better way to do something and I’m not ashamed to copy or learn from others. Finest Aquatics said it would be OK on the Carpet. Easy to say, but with respect, it isn’t their “Great Barrier Reef” that would burst out onto “my” Sitting Room Floor. For your Rental Property, other materials like 18mm or 25mm Spruce Boards are also an option? I have probably, “lost the plot” and thought of cutting a slot or X for each Cabinet Foot (22x) to sit directly on the concrete. So, on the Carpet, but supported directly on the Concrete Floor. Remove the Tank and there is still (some semblance of) Carpet! 😁
You’ve put the tank on Carpet so it will be the carpet gripper section that will causing the tank to tilt forward…. For me you don’t want it sat on carpet….
I would cut the carpet back before you fill it…. If you ever want to change the carpet in the future you’ll have to move the tank
Oooh handy to know thank you I had to use these as I’m in rented atm so didn’t want to ruin the carpet tbh but I’ll have another think when I’m levelling it out
all the best with the new tank. How long did it take to build from start to finish?
Thank you so much and only a couple of hours tbh not too long
The RO container design is rubbish on Red Sea tanks although the gravity float switch is ok. The DD reef pro sump design is much better and by incorporating the RO water container within the sump you have a bigger container that is more practical although you need to buy an ATO. I would still recommend a red sea tank though although quality is not as good as DD IMO.
Yeah I definitely am going to get a separate RO reservoir made for this tank as I don’t like it either ☺️
very nice tank. is this the G2?
I don’t actually know haha I’ll check when home I know the Ro reservoir definitely is because that box said so
