- Well after about 2.5 YEARS of work, I finally got my 1920's TORO Model ME engine up and running again! It was a hell of a project but I'm super excited to finally have it running as it is a super interesting and weird engine!
Unique little engine. Wasn't aware engines of this size were made that far back.
It sure is! And yes there were lots of small engines coming out in the 20's! That's when they really started to take off! Thanks for Watching!
Awesome Colin! I have this same engine that came off of a Toro road/lawn roller. It has the tool box still on it.
Ohh damn! Didn't know you had one! You really need to do a video of your engine collection some day LOL! Aren't they super weird engines???
@@colin_5839 They are very odd engines for sure! Very mechanical, lots of gears in these little buggers!
That they sure are!
Thats a beauty. Started so well. Very impressed with all the hard work put into saving it.
Thanks!! I do my best to save any engine I can because with enough effort they can really all be saved in my opinion! Thanks for Watching!
Great job restoring this engine. What an interesting oddball!!
Thanks!! Sure is! Thanks for Watching!
Nice slow runner !!!
That it is! Thanks for Watching Will!
Kind of sounds like an old Volkswagen Beetle to me. I like it! 💙💙💙💙💙
Hahah Kinda does! Thanks for Watching!
That is a very cool and very oddball little engine that you have there Colin! It fits in your collection perfectly, and you probably aren't going to like me for this but your gas cap is off a IHC "M" probably 1 1/2hp lol. Great video buddy!!!
Thanks! DOH! Of all things to have a gas cap off of..... 😂 Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for Watching!
That's a pretty cool little engine, nice job , hope to see it in person some day (Cool Spring '24 ????) 🤞
It sure is! Thanks! I'm going to try and make it to Coolspring next year if possible and if I do I'll likely bring it and a few other interesting engines! You and Chris have to road trip it down to the LIAPA sometime too and when you do it will definitely be there! :) Thanks for Watching Kevin!
Impressive! Nice work.
Thanks Paul!!
Very Cool Old Engine...
Thanks!
Awesome 💯
Thanks!
