    Dear Doctors, please stop gaslighting us and assuming because we’re young that nothing could potentially be wrong! Stop being lazy and treating us like a number! I swear not one of these stories has had a doctor diagnose correctly. 😡

    Hannah I’m so very proud of your strength and courage! You are in my prayers 💖 I just lost my baby brother to stage 4 liver cancer, but we knew from the beginning there was no hope for him. His Dr was treating him for gallbladder infections but unfortunately it turned out they were liver cancer. We never knew this until he ended up in the emergency room doubled up in severe pain. It was a long 3 years but he did everything they wanted him to try. It broke my heart to watch him grasp at the hope as he went from 180lbs to 121lbs, 😘. I miss him so much everyday. I begged him to go to a special hospital for cancer but he refused, he didn’t want to lose hope in where he was. You sound so positive I’m sure you will beat this, please keep us posted, 💖

      @ He was 66, but still my baby brother who I loved and was closest to always. I was one of five children, two older sisters and two younger brothers. Sadly my oldest sister passed from breast cancer in 2013. Unfortunately my other two siblings don’t speak to me, it’s a sad situation. If I could change it I would do anything but sometimes we need to do what’s best for ourselves. Our mother passed in November 2023, she was in assisted living very close to me so I was there everyday. So now I find myself lost without her or him. I do hope for better days and I appreciate your concern. Be well and God bless you. 💖

    • @hazeleyes449
      @hazeleyes449 7 дней назад +1

      @ Barbara, I am so sorry. I had 8 other brothers and sisters. 1 brother has cancer, but we don’t speak. Not since I found out from my other sisters that they were molested by him. My oldest brother was found in his house sitting in his chair. He had committed suicide. We weren’t close. He has a different dad and when my mom left their dad (oldest sister too) they vowed never to speak to me, my twin, my older sister and brother. I never understood that. We didn’t do anything to them. I had two other younger sisters that passed away. One from water on the brain and she lived up until 2 1/2 years old and another sister that passed from unusual circumstances. I hope you heal and continue to be a good person. God Bless!

    How could any decent Doctor dismiss blood in your urine? Yes a UTI can produce a bit of blood tinged urine but actual blood in your urine stream like in the toilet bowl is a huge red flag for cancer. I'm so sorry you were brushed off and I'm sick of all the gaslighting Doctors do to young and old alike. Wake Up Doctors you need to start listening to your patients ! I'm sending my prayers to you Hannah and I wish you strength and courage on this difficult path.

      Blood in the urine is a number one sign of bladder cancer. She should have immediately been seen to rule out any type of cancer.😢

    • @Nanns_11
      @Nanns_11 Месяц назад +3

      It was at the ER and they brushed me off very quickly. Even when I told my primary doctor they didn’t seem concerned either.

      I had quite a bit of blood in my urine, I did have an infection. That cleared up with antibiotics and noting since, that was years ago so yes you can

    • @mentak2593
      @mentak2593 7 дней назад

      Actually some UTIs can cause a significant amount of inflammation and thus bleeding. I agree massive amounts of blood would be immediate imaging. But a moderate amount may mot raise flags right away. If the bleeding resolves with treatment it is usually a sign that the infection was the culprit- especially with a positive urine culture. If it persists and there are abdominal symptoms that don’t resolve- then yes, a prompt consult with urology is needed.

      @@JPJPJPJPThat's not true it doesn't automatically means it's cancer, it could represent a number of things from kidney stones ,uti, or kidney , bladder cancer. You will have to get a CT scan or MRI to get a correct diagnosis. Also their is microscopic blood we can't see that's why it's always good to get urinalysis. I had large blood got a ct scan and I had a large stone in my kidney.

    This is one of the best videos I have seen-as well as being incredibly informative, it touched me very much. As a woman I think it is difficult to know what symptoms to pursue or ignore, as we are used to our bodies feeling different every day due to hormones and our cycles. Dealing with cancer has so many layers of hardship, so thank you for speaking so clearly and eloquently about your experience. Second opinions are so very important! Living life in a purposeful way is so important! I am hoping the best for you and the people surrounding you, who obviously love you so much!

    Thanks for sharing your story! Once again I am hearing what I have heard in so many other stories: symptoms being dismissed because the patient “doesn’t fit the bill.” Why not change the approach and look at ruling out the worst case scenario first? And then work your way back to causes that may not result in such devastating outcomes because the window of opportunity for early diagnosis and treatment has come and gone?? Because of doctors’ negligence so many already get diagnosed as Stage IV. It’s infuriating!!

      It’s how the system is set up, you get your test results in MyChart before the doctors have a chance to look at it and reach out.
      After COVID the health care system is at capacity and everything seems delayed. I believe they do the best they can with the resources they have. It just sucks that is our reality.

      It was on both sides and so dull. I had multiple pelvic masses so they were on both sides. My appendix (right side) was huge and inflamed as well. So that’s why I told the doctor more right sided pain.

      @@Nanns_11thank you for replying. Was it really low down like where you would normally get ovulation pain? I have constant low dull pain like 2/10 all the time and doctors have done an internal ultrasound to look at my ovaries and colonoscopy and keep saying it must be muscular. But it doesn’t feel like it’s muscles to me.

Muchas veces tengo tristeza pero tengo esperanza de volver al creador a través de su hijo, quien fue quien puso su vida por mis pecados Reconocerlo como salvador y Señor. To Believe means to be persuaded or convinced
    Jesus is the Christ
    Christ means Messiah/Savior
    Jesus Christ is the Son of God
    He Saves people from Everlasting Death
    He Died on the Cross, was buried, and Rose again on the third day. He Conquered Death for all Humans, no matter who they are or what they have done or will do.
    Salvation
    If you believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), The Son of God, and that He gives you eternal life simply for believing in Him, you have eternal life (John 20:31; 1 John 5:1, 10-11).
    New King James Version
    John 6:47
    Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.

    1 John 5:1
    Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him
    Once Saved Always Saved
    John 6:37

So 7 years or so ago now I went to the bathroom and sure enough peeing straight blood. 🩸 went to the hospital to get checked out and despite filling the specimen container with what appeared to be 90% blood they told me unless I was in any pain that they weren’t going to do anything. Man, should’ve advocated for myself better. Think I’m gonna get checked out.
