A big factor in terms of deciding whether to buy a grom is what kind of roads you have around you, the speed limit, roughness etc. If you have 60mph areas then you might want to reconsider and possibly buy a slightly bigger bike that's able to handle the needs of your roads around you.

That's me 55mph roads everywhere but I alrdy have/had 18 bikes. Grom by far the funnest!

i wanted a grom since last year and the urge just kept getting bigger and bigger so i sold both of my dirtbikes and got a brand new 2024 grom and it was the best decision i’ve made
It’s pretty much a street dirtbike haha.
Man, I got a heavily modified Grom. Cammed, stand alone fuel management system, exhaust, intake, oil spinner delete, oil cooler. Just a bunch of crap I dumped money into when I bought it a couple years ago. Since I bought that one, I’ve bought 3 other Honda’s. A enduro, a Adv bike and finally a Rebel. I’ve been pounding the miles on the Rebel this year. I just took the Grom out yesterday just to keep fluids moving. I planned to go around the block. Holy shit, it was so fun I ended up ripping all over town just grinning ear to ear. It just screams. It’s so visceral . It’s just a completely unique experience that it delivers a completely awesome experience. It’s so light and nimble that it literally hold your inner child hostage. You get on it and start ripping around. It is like that one friend that challenges to just get stupid. Its size hides its capabilities. Want to cruise a back road at 60mph, no problem. Want to stunt, no problem. Cheap transportation- yup. It just checks way more boxes than it has any right to. After blasting around town yesterday, I knew what I was riding to work today. I hung up my keys, locked up my office and clocked out early to go rip around town a bit before I headed home. It’s turns heads like crazy. And if you have one and you see another Grommer out Grommin, you freak and wonder if you can get home quick enough to jump on yours and catch them!🤣😂🤣😂.
Truly no down side to the grom other than not having one.

Its me. Im the guy thats 385,000,389 lbs on a small bike lol. For reals though. Im 280lbs 6' 1" and I feel so dorky but absolutely love this thing. Since you asked nicely. I guess Ill subscribe as well so I can look back and see I was before the 5k mark and before you forget about the little us.

Nobody looks normal on a grom. Also it would feel good it’s same seat height as any motorcycle.
Are there any groms that are highway/freeway legal? I’ve been looking at them and have had friends who ride recommend them as good beginner bikes

I’m not a fan of them but they are good bars so it’s more of a looks preference.

A lot wider I didn’t trim mine but they feel a lot more natural.
@glockguy5682 ASV levers for the win. I have the same 1s but diff colors on my zx10. They will go on every bike I ever buy. Way better than the oem in my opinion.

Hey so im thinking about buying a honda grom but i have a question uhm i live in the state of michigan and what type of license would i need?
In Illinois I just have a 125 license not a full license if that helps I’m not sure about Michigan
im 6,3 would i fit on one? thats the only reason i havent gotten one
I’m almost 6’ 250 so I don’t think anyone would technically fit on a grom 😂 don’t let it stop you because it’s a comfortable bike even for someone taller.

The grom isn’t as small ass u think. It has the same seat height as any other motorcycle. It’s meant to look small so don’t worry.

Big bikes aren't the funnest when it come to riding around the normal city street cause you barley hit the throttle an your already goin 60 an u gotta slow down an take it easy before u get pulled over..An thats y Grom are fun for city roads.. Cause your full throttle 80 % of the time an not really goin that fast but u feel like your doin the most lol

Look around their for sale everywhere for 2000.00&3000.00 used - $3599 new.
If I had to do it over I would’ve waited for the 2025 Grom to come out for $800 more then I bought the brand new 2018 Grom I bought used in 2024. ✌️😎👍

Ehhhh the maintenance on a honda grom is basically free. Change the oil every 4k miles. Change the oil filter every 8k miles. Super cheap

I bought a brand new 2024 and owned for 1.5 months. It’s the worst piece of shit bike you can get. Can’t even hold 80km/h in head wind and it absolutely sucks at everything.. RUclipsrs just hype this piece of garbage up.. save your money!
