- Our Road Glide loves the curves and elevation changes that southern Ohio has to offer. Today we are on routes 348 and 73, stopping at a great place to eat and talking about a new pair of gloves.

Very nice. New subscriber here. Enjoyed the vibe of your video... helps with the January cabin fever...
Thanks! Yeah, this time of year it's definitely tough.
Thanks for the ride along and video
Appreciate you watching
Well, guess I'll have to get into Ohio one of these days!
If you make it over here, give us a shout
We loved that route. One of my favorites
It is a great road, but like I mentioned, I especially like it in the springtime.
I’ll just ask you to take me on a ride!! 😂😂😂
Absolutely!
I miss summer riding come on March and April and the rest of the riding months!!!!
So do I, brother! Hoping for a short winter.
Great video! I've ridden through Ohio but never in Ohio. I plan on riding the Windy 9 at some point because I've heard so much about that group of roads but from what I see in your videos, there are some hidden gems that only the locals know about. Some of the most memorable meals I've had have been at gas stations. And, some of the best conversations with the nicest people. Thanks for the reminder of why I love being on a motorcycle.
Thanks! We've ridden several of the roads that are part of the windy9 but never actually set out to ride any specific loop rides they have created. Maybe we'll have to do that. Some of those rides are a pretty good distance from us. We live on the other side of the state, but we'll still ride out there from time to time. There are definitely some other great roads in Ohio. Now, my favorite is Kentucky! If I had to choose between Ohio and Kentucky. If you ever head this way, give us a shout!
@@motorcycleden Will do. It would be my pleasure to meet you both.
@HaveMotoWillTravel ours too!
New subscriber, great video. Can't wait to get rid of our cold for nice riding like this.
Thanks for the sub! I agree, I'm ready for some warm weather!!!
Looks like a fun winding scenic road. Nice with the shade of the trees going along. The loaded fried sounded good. Those country food gas stops are cool. We have some like that in regional areas. I'd come with you guys for a bike road trip as you have pretty much been most places & know the good roads to get there. I'd get lost.
We probably ride this road a couple of times a year. The fries were great! You ever make it to the US, give us a shout. We'll gladly ride with you!
Great video. Riding right through my neck of the woods. I haven't been into the Depot in a few year. I guess you take for granted places you see a lot.
You all were talking about 247. I love that road going north to south. It starts on the south end of Hillsboro and ends at the Ohio River in Wrightsville. It's around 36 miles.✌️
Thanks! Talk about taking things for granted. Another youtuber from Colorado rides in some gorgeous areas, but he doesn't see anything special about it. He said, "I grew up here, so for me, it's nothing special." I guess we all do that in one way or another. Yes, 247 is a fun road! A lot of times, we only take it down to West Union, but like you said, it's good all the way to the river.
Very nice country road 👍
I love it in the spring, but only get to ride it then once every few years
we saw some cows outside of their pasture down in VA a few years ago...Glad you like the Indie Ridge gloves...they look soft
Never know where a cow might show up. Lol They are pretty soft.
lol...ours like to escape when we are on a trip@@motorcycleden
Thank you . Great ride! Is winter over yet?lol
I'm definitely ready for spring! Thanks for watching & commenting
cool intro guys!
Thanks!
purple buds sound beautiful! sounds like a great road and looks like a good one too!
It is great if you can catch it during those few weeks in the spring.
nice!!@@motorcycleden
Nice road! We will have to check this out in 2024!
Yeah, definitely. Have you been down to the flood wall in Portsmouth? It's down in that area.
@@motorcycleden yeah, we have been down there several times. Then the Ribber for lunch!
@twowheelbuckeyes we haven't eaten at the Ribber yet but heard it's good.
covered bridges are so cool!
We love them! When I had an iPhone, years ago, I had an app with all the covered bridges and their locations. You could also take pictures and store them with each covered bridge. We were going through visiting a bunch in Ohio. I think Pennsylvania has a lot too
that sounds pretty cool! Yes, in Bedford County, PA, there are quite a few in PA@@motorcycleden
I'd like Indie Ridge to come out with a breathable waterproof boot...my boots are so hot in the summer, but when we go on a trip, I'm only taking one pair so it's the waterproof hot ones...
I wear mine all year long. They are a little warm, but haven't been too bad for me. I hear what you say, and if they cane out with that, I'd definitely buy a pair.
they have a breathable pair, just not waterproof...Tommy has Alpine Stars that are not too hot and are waterproof but they didn't fit my foot properly@@motorcycleden
@PurpleOnThree Sherri has a hard time finding boots to fit, too.
@@motorcycleden it's just not easy!
I’ve come to the conclusion that most non highway roads are pretty dang good when on a motorcycle!!😂
As long as they don't have a lot of traffic, I'm good with them
@@motorcycleden agreed!!
Dirty bathrooms are the worst!!!!
We've been quite a few nasty bathrooms and you're right!
