Uriah Heep one of my favorite groups, In College 1973-1976😅 when we listened to them everyone had to get to our room to listen, between Uriah Heep, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple we were very popular😂 it was great fun but of course it was it was the 70's.✌️Peace ☮️ and Love❤️ your 70 year old forever Young Hippie Gary 😊 Great Reaction👍 Uriah Heep "Come Away Melinda" 😢 Great Song 🎵
Yes brother. I was right there with you in College 1971-1975. Me and my roommate had our dorm room walls plastered with black light posers and listened to the same groups, but we added Jethro Tull and The Moody Blues. Great party times!!!
Subscribed today. I really enjoy you both. You remind me a bit of my wife and I. We regularly do music nights on Friday evenings pulling most of the songs from our modest LP record collection and playing them on our vintage stereo system. This song gets played a lot (one of my wife's favorite songs) and we make sure the neighbors hear it too 😛.
This was one of the earliest, best rock n roll songs i was introduce to in the early '70s. It set the standard that I judged all other rock songs by - the tone, the harmonies, the grit, guitars, vocals, organ and That Bass! Crank it UP! as we used to say.
Say what you want kids but there really has never been a band with a sound like Uriah Heep. Totally recognizable. And they have never really gotten the respect they deserve except from us who know!
Uriah Heep is one of the most underrated bands from back in the day. They didn't achieve the commercial success that they should have and it's a shame. So talented.
Great reaction as usual. However... Andre, your love for Dominica speaks volumes. It's a real blessing to see you two react like your both still teenagers. I love it! Never be afraid or embarrassed to show your real emotions. You're both beautiful. Big fan. God bless.
What a bass by Gary Thain. RIP. This line up with Lee Kerslake drums, Ken Hensley keys, Mick Box guitar and of course the phenomenal vocalist David Byron totally rocked. The 4 albums with this classic line up are something else. Sweet Freedom, Demon & Wizards, The Magician's Birthday and Wonderworld. Guitarist Mick Box are the only one alive and are preparing for the Farewell Tour. He's 77.
If you two enjoy early Uriah Heep, there is a great cover band from Hungary called Heep Freedom. I know Uriah Heep has enjoyed great popularity in that part of the world. The song July Morning, I am told, is celebrated every summer in Bulgaria. Thanks for your review and cheers from Canada.
One of my all time favourite bands since 1970 'very heavy very humble album.David Byron one of the greatest rock vocalists from the greatest era of music.
This song is great I'm 69 this is the first time I've ever heard it. Movie because it does sound a lot like Grand funk railroad maybe you should try I'm your captain you'll see what I'm talking about!!!!

Had the pleasure of seeing the Heep twice in 1973 and next year I will have the pleasure of seeing them again in Glasgow 52 years later

Those autogenerated lyrics are garbage, I would turn them off.
The Close-Caption lyrics on this one are some of the most ridiculous renderings I've ever seen.
