Thank you for this video, I need to get this machine. I have an upholstered chair I need to clean because the cats in my family were having some territorial issues when my sister and my niece's cats started living together. FYI I have found that nothing, not even those enzyme solutions that are on the market, gets cat urine out like white vinegar. There was a stray that would come and spray my doorstep, but saturating it with dish soap (or was it a household cleaner... I can't remember) and vinegar, then using a pressure washer I rented from a home improvement store got it right out. It's been a few of years and it doesn't smell in the summer heat. I just hope I can put vinegar in this Hoover machine.

Also white vinegar work to kill the smell. Let it sit for 30 mins to an hour then clean it.

Did the area you sprayed and scrubbed that is not removable from the sofa show any signs of staining from your cleaning method?

Yes, there were no marks remaining after the process was performed. If you have marks remaining after treatment, that likely means all of the solution was not removed.
