Nashville's Squad program is designed to help ease calls on the trucks so maintenance can be cheaper as well as keeping them open for fires.

Several departments in Middle Tennessee are running a similar squads staffed with 2 firefighter-emts.

I don't believe these are the squads you are talking about, they are a Ford F450 chassis with a mini pumper body on them, those right there are the new district buggies that replaced the Ford Taurus. Im next to Station 29 and we received a new squad which are pretty cool!!!!
@@mtvjackass74 they did get one of those but unfortunately it didn’t fit inside the house so they’re forced to use this smaller unit instead.
@@mtvjackass74 that is in fact squad 9. i was in the passenger seat. 9’s didn’t get the new f550s. has everything squad has except hose, intakes, or caf system.
@97dgecummins are they cross staffing or did they hire outside personal to staff these?
