I actually have a headcanon/theory as to how Beenox added more personality into Megamix. That line he spouts out first starts in "Cortex-Gin's" voice "The Trophy's Mine!" and then he backpeddles and shouts out "OURS!" in Tiny's voice. Plus at the very beginning, his animation has him jerking around a bit, as if he's trying to get a hold of his thoughts. My theory is that in this new rendition; Mega-Mix may have a case of Split-Personality Disorder. Since he's a combination of four of the franchise's memorable villains, it would make sense that they also share one single mind. However, their original personalities are still intact, and are constantly fighting to gain control over their new (yet hideously mutated) form.
Sounds good too, Cortex’s voice with N. Gin’s mechanical reverb and Tiny’s guttural growling. I just don’t hear much Dingodile from him, but still, suitably terrifying.
This Grand Prix looks absolutely stunning! The amount of detail put into the track and character skins and ESPECIALLY MegaMix himself is nothing short of groundbreaking and just goes to show that Beenox is willing to reference ANY Crash game, no matter how obscure or divisive they might be. Can't wait to play this tomorrow!

Dimas as-14 yeah I don’t really care if he gets one honestly he’s a fun character I guess just not one of my favorites but this would have been the best one for him, especially to give him a human skin since all the mammals got robot skins haha

I hated Gingerbread Joyride but OH MY GOD THIS TRACK IS BADASS 😎😎😎😎😎. I wasn't too crazy about the skin choices, but damn they're really awesome. Loving this already. It would be an A+ IF THEY WOULD GIVE GEARY A SKIN.

I hate it, because the track had too many stupid squared ou tracks, the two shortcuts suck, and the jumping Jelly Squares are irritating, aswell most of the content (except for the characters, Spyro and Nash's skin). Where awful. It's the worst one imo. Oh and I don't like Cortex Castle aswell.

This is much better than expected!!!! BUT I HAVE AN EARLY THEORY. Right after watching this, my mom and I took a joycon each and drove around Roo's Tubes. (in the same kart!!!) We also looked at some old Crash Twinsanity timeline videos of the N. Gin's battleship level. So...we wondered if maybe NGin somehow wanted revenge and took over??? In real life it can take many years for a whole ocean to drastically dry up. Did the ocean oil rigs (that NGin probably set up) make so much pollution, that the horrible air quality and acid rain combine to make the weather harsh??? Whats in the distance on that big jump??? And I bet there's rust (duh), old ammunition leakage, radiation, leaking gasoline, and shrapnel all around. AND the fish, the orca swimming around the Roo's Tubes track, and general ecosystem are DEAD. When a large ocean or body of water evaporates, the leftover water becomes either deadly salty or even acid water in the right conditions. Ok, I think I made it sadder than expected....still looking forward to driving around it!!! Oh wait. Then where and how does MegaMix come from?????

Gawd damn, Beenox has really outdone itself with this Grand Prix! This has got to be most well-designed content yet. Chock full with references to Twinsanity and even more of the Radical Crash games, remembering Huge Adventure on the GBA with a amazingly redesigned Megamix (of which come on, the GBA limitations of the original ofc that version looks crappy) and the LORE of the new track being Roo's Tubes post-apocalyptic-tized.

Personally i dont mind there being Just one. They have to contain themselves for several grand prixes. Theres a limit on already existing characters in the franchise. And the awsome track, karts and skins more then compensate for that hehe
How do you guys know there is only one character tho? Have they released every on lockable item in this Grand Prix like they did last time? because I didn’t see it if so.
We NEED to have pre sets for the maps. Character, paint, skin, wheels body etc. maybe even a few with a preferred option for ore sets for each individual map along with a random option for your 3-5 pre sets saved, again, for each individual level. That would be amazing, especially for us who have virtually all the cosmetics unlocked and would like to utilize them. There’s no time before the map is actually chosen... AND the Motorcycle from Warped!!! And maybe the Tank from Bash and let us buy the plan if we didn’t get it at first for Veterans Day :(
They are bringing in So many characters only hard core Crash fans will remember. I love it! Hope we get to see Evil Crash soon. And maybe evil Coco who was going to be in Twinsanity before they had to cut her out due to time restraint.

The mashed up masks from Titans is definitely a fave, lotsa nostalgia for me since the only Crash games I played as a kid were the titan games and the CTR games!
At the end, they did Megamix justice. And Holy Hell this GP is pure Madness! The skins are so fitting and totally in role, and the track just makes it a lot better! And I just LOVE that they included Aku Aku and Uka Uka's Crash of the Titans/Mind Over Mutant design in ONE! Can't wait to play it!
Beenox really has a magic wand when it comes to bring back to life forgotten characters. First they turned Yaya Panda, an obscure Crash character, into a fan favorite, and now they turned an abomination of a character into a really cool one. Not bad.
Megamix honestly looks phenomenal. He looks intimidating and horrifying, but not in a "oh gosh GBA graphics make this terrifying" way. I just..man why do Pura and Polar keep getting so many skins. They're very cute! But....man, robotic themed Grand Prix... Von Clutch, Tropy, Geary... characters with metallic parts. Give'em some loveeeee.
Gotta be honest - I never thought they'd actually add Mega-Mix... but I'm certainly not complaining! (: Also, holy fuck - that punk Nina skin shown on the third place icon at 1:04 is my late Christmas present. To put it in SpongeBob's words, IIIIIIIIII NEEEEEEEED IIIIIIIIT!!!

I’m honestly in love with this track! It just has this huge mad max vibe to it! One of my favourite action movie franchises ever! And I’m actually from here in Australia where it originated from!
I think these shortcuts in Megamix Mania have letters in the CTR Challenge but the first letter in the first shortcut through the yellow cargo, the second letter in the second shortcut is to take the other path before the end of the tunnel and after the destroyed Roo’s Tubes area the third letter in the third shortcut is when you jump over the rocky arch after you get on the left path to the panel bridge. And I think I saw the picture of Madame Amberly in the Mansion before the finish line in Nina’s Nightmare and she will be a new character on the next Grand Prix.
Megamix’s legendary skin looks like one of the best yet! Dingodile’s skin kind of reminds me of Croco from that Outcast Bandicoot fan series (who remembers that?)
Hmm, track sure does look interesting. Looking forward to running time trial and ring rally on it. Also good to see that brought back that little box minigame where you chase the ghost after breaking it.

The scorpions are referencing one of the levels in _The Wrath of Cortex_ called "Gold Rush". It takes place in a desert. Also, it's just Rusty Walrus, no "the" in between.
On their post on Instagram we can read that : Grand prix includes a new track, characterS, items and challenges. So the fact that they use plural on character make me think that we’re going to get a secret character like King Chicken!

I hate it, because the track had too many stupid squared ou tracks, the two shortcuts suck, and the jumping Jelly Squares are irritating, aswell most of the content (except for the characters, Spyro and Nash's skin). Where awful. It's the worst one imo. Oh and I don't like Cortex Castle aswell.

Given how much Megamix got fixed up (especially by ditching the goofy pants), I wonder if Beenox could make Mind Over Mutant DS' final boss, the Chimera, fit more into the series' artstyle. Also, NICE, MEGAMIX HAS A PERSONALITY DISORDER!
I can't wait to see what they called this new mask, Aku Uka? Apo? At least he should be getting a sticker.

This is much better than expected!!!! BUT I HAVE AN EARLY THEORY.
Right after watching this, my mom and I took a joycon each and drove around Roo's Tubes. (in the same kart!!!) We also looked at some old Crash Twinsanity timeline videos of the N. Gin's battleship level.
So...we wondered if maybe NGin somehow wanted revenge and took over??? In real life it can take many years for a whole ocean to drastically dry up. Did the ocean oil rigs (that NGin probably set up) make so much pollution, that the horrible air quality and acid rain combine to make the weather harsh??? Whats in the distance on that big jump??? And I bet there's rust (duh), old ammunition leakage, radiation, leaking gasoline, and shrapnel all around. AND the fish, the orca swimming around the Roo's Tubes track, and general ecosystem are DEAD. When a large ocean or body of water evaporates, the leftover water becomes either deadly salty or even acid water in the right conditions.
Ok, I think I made it sadder than expected....still looking forward to driving around it!!!
Oh wait. Then where and how does MegaMix come from?????

Gawd damn, Beenox has really outdone itself with this Grand Prix! This has got to be most well-designed content yet. Chock full with references to Twinsanity and even more of the Radical Crash games, remembering Huge Adventure on the GBA with a amazingly redesigned Megamix (of which come on, the GBA limitations of the original ofc that version looks crappy) and the LORE of the new track being Roo's Tubes post-apocalyptic-tized.

Personally i dont mind there being Just one. They have to contain themselves for several grand prixes. Theres a limit on already existing characters in the franchise.

How do you guys know there is only one character tho? Have they released every on lockable item in this Grand Prix like they did last time? because I didn’t see it if so.
If it means more qol fixes and improvements to online, I have no problem with this.
We NEED to have pre sets for the maps. Character, paint, skin, wheels body etc. maybe even a few with a preferred option for ore sets for each individual map along with a random option for your 3-5 pre sets saved, again, for each individual level. That would be amazing, especially for us who have virtually all the cosmetics unlocked and would like to utilize them. There’s no time before the map is actually chosen... AND the Motorcycle from Warped!!! And maybe the Tank from Bash and let us buy the plan if we didn’t get it at first for Veterans Day :(

They are bringing in So many characters only hard core Crash fans will remember. I love it! Hope we get to see Evil Crash soon. And maybe evil Coco who was going to be in Twinsanity before they had to cut her out due to time restraint.

The mashed up masks from Titans is definitely a fave, lotsa nostalgia for me since the only Crash games I played as a kid were the titan games and the CTR games!

The reference to Aku Aku and Uka Uka hybrid is clever cause the level is post apocalypse and Mind over Mutant was the endgame for the Crash games.
Beenox really has a magic wand when it comes to bring back to life forgotten characters. First they turned Yaya Panda, an obscure Crash character, into a fan favorite, and now they turned an abomination of a character into a really cool one. Not bad.
Megamix honestly looks phenomenal. He looks intimidating and horrifying, but not in a "oh gosh GBA graphics make this terrifying" way.
I just..man why do Pura and Polar keep getting so many skins. They're very cute! But....man, robotic themed Grand Prix... Von Clutch, Tropy, Geary... characters with metallic parts. Give'em some loveeeee.

Anybody else notice Crash's Rustland skin also bears his Mind Over Mutant tribal ink? Yeah, that's an excellent touch.
I think these shortcuts in Megamix Mania have letters in the CTR Challenge but the first letter in the first shortcut through the yellow cargo, the second letter in the second shortcut is to take the other path before the end of the tunnel and after the destroyed Roo’s Tubes area the third letter in the third shortcut is when you jump over the rocky arch after you get on the left path to the panel bridge. And I think I saw the picture of Madame Amberly in the Mansion before the finish line in Nina’s Nightmare and she will be a new character on the next Grand Prix.

Megamix’s legendary skin looks like one of the best yet! Dingodile’s skin kind of reminds me of Croco from that Outcast Bandicoot fan series (who remembers that?)
Hmm, track sure does look interesting. Looking forward to running time trial and ring rally on it. Also good to see that brought back that little box minigame where you chase the ghost after breaking it.
