I had looked away for a second and heard Pete talking funny and I thought he must have taken some stings to the lips but fortunately he was ok 😂 I always think the bees must be so pissed at those pollen traps, they work themselves to death bringing in that pollen to feed their babies and then they bring it home and it all disappears before they get in the hive. Man Randy I don't know how you do it. I tried to frame up some drawn brood comb out of a swarm trap while moving the bees to a 10 frame. It was 95 degrees. That comb was so soft. I used fishing line and a ton of rubber bands. I thought I was going to have to wrap it in duct tape. Great work, great video, you and the bees bring me joy!

I was born in 1971 and used to think my older brother was a DISCO KING. he had big tall black shoes bell bottom pants huge collars and a super fast bright blue 1973 AMC Javelin SST jacked up in the back wth wide tires. That car would spin donuts until you were blind from white smoke. He was my idol in the 70s and 80s
I personally like Dirt Rooster because he’s easy to follow even for a newby like me & he really gives good advice. My husband & I went & saved a hive from being killed & it was horribly infested with beetle larva. The bees absconded. I watched him on how to kill the larva & save the comb. I rendered it & get the wax. Soapy water did the job when nothing else I tried would. One RUclipsr said to just burn everything it’s a waste of time & ruined. I pretty much listen to him when I need advice…which is a lot of the time!!!

It is thoroughly enjoyable watching and listening to a fine gentleman like your Dad and am pleased he looks to be in reasonably good health. Pollen traps are yet another thing I learned about Bee keeping watching your site, God bless you both. I find I often rush over to the general internet to search for information regarding terms and items of equipment I see during presentations by yourself, Mr Ed and JPthebeeman. What river does that swamp open on to and is it anywhere near the sea? Because I don't otherwise know how that boat could put all those engines to use safely and legally! It looked like somebody found a rocket on the beach and turned it into a boat and I reckon it probably needed a fuel tank about that big too! I recently watched some blogs by an engineering company that modifies engines to produce crazy amounts of power. Evidently some of them were for airboats which caused me to wonder if they are widely used in swamps in that part of the US?
Maybe "it will Save Yo Life" (in your voice haha) should be our new slogan... Sounded good when you said it😎 Your Dad really is looking good, tell him I said hello.
Smorgasbord of bees today folks.... Starting with Dad doing the tagline. What's not to love? Great time, I needed a break here and this was just what I needed to get my spirits up. It reminds me that I need to take a ride and check my swarm traps, we finally got some swarming weather here in Central NY. Your shot of 35,000 lbs of bees (with hives) has me remembering to put the jacket in the truck. I wish it was a Guardian, also wish I had enough bees to scare me like the truckload, or even the nuc stack, maybe we should do a photo contest, most extreme hive. I'm sure there would be some wild ones. Seems like the southern bees have better aim though, you guys are always getting stung in bad places. Nose is bad, edge of nostril is extreme. I read somewhere where they were interviewing an actor, and when asked how he summons his best cry, he replied "I just pull a nose hair before they start rolling". he would have done well with a bee sting to the nostril. ok, bloviated enough, and Mr Ed got his in. At 65 in thinking I might switch over from 10 frame supers to something a tad more lighter coz ?? Lol I'm not getting any younger OR stronger.....So on the cut out? .ight be a dumb question,, but how did you clean up the honey off the plywood? Will the vac suck up honey? You talking about pushing over this boxes reminded me of the time I loaned my buddy my dump trailer. The sides are about 6 feet tall. Well he needed my hand truck and I stopped by his shop to drop off the hand truck and he wasn't there. I didn't want the hand truck stolen so I lifted it up and over the side of my trailer. Well.. I didn't realize that he had the entire floor of the trailer full of full nucs. I never ran so fast in my life. Let's just say the hand truck smacking those nucs pissed some girls off.

I used to wear headbands all the time when I played outdoor tennis,my head sweats profusely when I work a lot so they are very helpful.I was also treated with chemo cream for my skin cancer on my nose and forehead,man your cancer spots really get ugly with that cream but everything heals after a while....not easy to apply protective sunscreen when you sweat a lot....

I watch you and Jeff’s removals and yes a high percentage of them are in between joists and give or take are kinda horizontal.. my question is, when you find them vertically oriented ? is it a fair comment to say that they build down from how they gained entrance into the cavity ?? thanks in advance 👍🏻

We mopped the heaviest part into a drywall mud pan to scoop it our and then cleaned the rest with shop towels.

Hi Randy, I’ve been meaning to ask since your removal that set the fire alarm off.. I watch you and Jeff’s removals and yes a high percentage of them are in between joists and give or take are kinda horizontal.. my question is, when you find them vertically oriented ? is it a fair comment to say that they build down from how they gained entrance into the cavity ?? thanks in advance 👍🏻
