Having Kevin covering the nuts and bolts side and Cleet covering the driving side of the event really compliments each other and gives us fans the whole picture. Great work guys! Almost like being there.
With the amount of water that was being dumped on the track every pass from a lot of cars, getting a somewhat clean pass is a success. You have built a clean, solid hotrod and it shows. I’ve seen a lot of guys with new builds wear out a couple sets of slicks before the car makes a clean pass.
Kevin is a true gem to youtube, his over all demeanor and professionalism only add to his skill in the craft of fast cars. Cleetus made 100% right choice in putting his cars in Kevin's hands. Mullet is gonna be one hell of a unit once Kevin gets some non drag week tune time. But the dedication it take to do a full on car angle change in a parking lot to squeeze every bit of stability and time out of the short track after gear change is what makes KSR the real deal.
The one thing I can't stand about a KSR video that i hate the most is it comes to a end 😒 Keep them coming KSR one of the best channels on RUclips HELL YEAH BROTHER
I swear I learn something new every time I watch a KSR video. Today it was the difference in gearing for the 340 v 389. Great job. And DAMN if those low-angle, the track launch shots aren’t amazing.
I associate that piece of royalty free music so hard with the outro of the Technology Connections youtube channel that whenever I hear it here I keep expecting the outtakes to start playing. :D
I like seeing the struggles as much as the triumphs. Goes to show even in "the big leagues" people still struggle to get stuff perfect. That car is capable of some amazing things. I have to say, I am as excited to see cleetus race as I was for Mike Finnegan when he was chasing A/Gas at hot rod drag week a couple years back.
That last statement killed me Kevin. Haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I wasn't laughing at you, I was laughing with you. I feel your pain man! Hang in there. You will get it done. I have faith in you!
The fact Kevin had all these adjustments built into this car before it ever saw the track, shows his level of nurd science that goes into every build. Lol ty Kevin for some schooling.
Love your work. Can’t wait to see more non-Mullet projects you have in the pipeline. The level of detail you go into explaining your ideas is top notch
Lol cleetus in the background with the KSR harmony at the beginning had me laughing from the start, you guys are living my best life right now! Its my dream to bring my car to the states and do a raceweek! Would be epic, specially rocky mountain raceweek!
I just want through all the recent pass vids to make sure I gave Kevin a thumbs up..... Good morning everyone! Lol I guess that's Kevin's opener. Always great content. Keep it up Kevin! Thank you for taking us along for the ride!
What a great way to start off my day. It's just a matter of time before you get mullet dialed in. The anticipation is killing me. It's like waiting for your baby to be born.
This car is going to be insane once you get the other gear ratio back in with the overdrive working properly. But I love that you are making it work for this event, whatever it takes!
Say what you want about Garret but damn that boy can drive. Like Kevin said you don't wheel with radials or at least you don't unless you have some big ole coconuts. To be able to turn in two slips with decent times at a so so condition track after changing gearing is not an easy task. Well done y'all and what we've come to expect from one of the best damn race crews out there, not just on the Tube...
Always LOVE what I'm seeing on the KSR channel :-) Sad when I just had to do the weather report at work for any outages/impacts & saw it's going to be staying very wet this weekend, so stay safe out there!
I was suprised to see you made that many runs dang. On a struggle day like this 8 ohs isn't horrible. Thanks for the daily uploads Kevin. Awsome coverage. Congrats on 200k!! Well deserved.
All I can say is....I'm impressed with this build. I had a 92 240 wagon, it was my dream to make that thing a super sleeper brick. Sadly a bit of C has forced me to abandon her.....but.....but if I come out swinging I'm tracking it down and sending it your way. After watching yalls Midwest drag week videos over on the other channel, I'm beyond impressed with your work. And that color of this Él mean-ó, is the exact color I would have slapped on the ole grocery getting sleeper brick. Good work man....
It’s hard enough finishing the week while being competitive, not to mention they’re dialing in a brand new car in unfavorable weather. Not the best time for shenanigans.
I can feel the frustration but you and old cleet work well as a team can’t wait for tomorrow and looking forward to RMRW this has been a good shake down for a new build
Kevin, look silly? No way! Every tweak is knowledge to your grey matter that you will use to the max. KSR for the WIN!!! 🏁🏁🏁 Congrads on 200k, you and the crew deserve all the recognition in the world! 🎉🍺 😎
1:59 Cleetus & Kevin Here This Week Free Tip..... If You Want At The Belt on The Mechanical Fuel pump Do Not Come Off, Then You Must Replace That Washe What It's in Front of The Smaller Pulley, And You Must Change It To BIGGER Convex Shape Washer, And That ( Convex shape Must facing To The engine ) So The Washer. Do Not Let To Belt Move Forward,And Its Keep It In Pulley, i Have Done It To my Car & i Can say Its Was a best Idea.
Keep grinding Kev. There is enough adjustment and sensors built in that you can sort it as you know you can. Track prep looked like it was killing everyone, Tom was having issues too. Fingers crossed for the angle change 🤞🏻
I really like the gopro shots of the burnout and rip. When the go pro is on the track surface it just looks great a completely different look to what we normally see in all videos. Also sweet because the car gets so close and just looks amazing
I look forward 2 Kevin's and Cleets updates....I knew this car would have some growing pains ...but for the most part...Kevin has made it easy enough for the pains to be not as painful...great job by KSR on mullet
Thank God and Cleetus for showing me this insane RUclips Channel. Insane builds, great content, a lot of information and also action. Next to all that, SO CLOSE TO 200K SUBS KEVIN LET´S GOOOOOO
I was watching the stream and thought that dripping the boost and getting the slips was your best bet, just like you did. I honestly didn't expect mullet to be able to go that fast in that track. Great job salvaging the day.
Seeing you guys at Indy yesterday was cool. Cleetus is even taller in person! Kevin is a pro at the track. I didnt say hi - as you guys looked pretty busy trying to get things sorted.
Poor Kevin, beating him self up when he forgets Cleets branding for a second. Then takes it hard when he can't dial that car in Immediately after a massive gearing change. Hope he is having some fun too. It's a beauty build and it's going to do things Cleets has only dreamed of, eventually lol
He's braver than me, I wouldn't make that wild of a change in the middle of a drag week event like this. Really needed a few more test passes on it before taking it on a trip like this.
He also probably doesn't give too much information as Cleetus is the big gun driving and making the times. It would also take away from Cleetus's upload that's coming up.
Ksr i love the work you do it is definitely the most attention detailed work ive ever seen from the tig welding to just every little detail and the meticulous part of making everything just perfect. I know eventually you and cleetus will have the car dialed and start setting some crazy fast times consecutively.
That is by far one of the best sounding turbo cars out there... most of them sound like crap at idle like a old dump truck but Cletus and Kevin have got that elco sounding awesome
Always love watching. Your camera etiquette is awful and it makes me laugh. I actually enjoy it. It has a "raw" feel to it. Keep it up my friend. The road to 1mil will happen fast.
I was thinking there wasn't a lot, if any, separation from the videos and wondering if you would make a bar change. Would love a "tech" video from you on setting up and plotting out 4-link, shocks, anti roll bars for Radials and Slicks when you are trying to change what the vehicle is doing. Thanks for the great coverage and insights!
Hello there from England. I know you from cleetus Mc freedom . I'm loving the Job on Mullet. Well done for making it impressively reliable out of the toolbox. You should be very proud of yourself. I hope you are having an awesome week. Bye for now
Great work so far guys. This is still a shakedown for Mullet after all. Sweet-spot settings take time to find. Getting to run it at different tracks as well as all the street miles between, you boys will know every nut, bolt, squeak and rattle by the time you get home! Good luck for tomorrow!
Ya Gotta watch tha Force guy! ) I think this is called 'Tuning Bye Fire" Your doing the right stuff. If you get another crappy track day, you might have low for the race. Hmmm.
I think it wild be a good idea to run the feed line of your cooling shirts threw the cup holders. That way your Mountain Dew's stay cold as well. Maybe in a spiral form or a double wall of some sort. Nothing better than a cool beverage!
Love how your posting your updates in the morning nothing better then watching Kevin and cleet while eating breakfast definitely the best way to start the day
Having Kevin covering the nuts and bolts side and Cleet covering the driving side of the event really compliments each other and gives us fans the whole picture. Great work guys! Almost like being there.
Couldn't agree more
For sure man!
Dude is a morning poster, been steadily posting early morning
Absolutely the best film combo of this event. Steve Morris and Tom Bailey are doing a good close second though.
hell of a lot better than watching dr moon tune fk the cars up with bogus tunes.
FREAKIN KEVIN, " WE FORGOT JOHN FORCE TOUCHED THE CAR & GAVE US ALL THAT EXTRA HP. " LMAO.
Give Kevin credit, filming for 2 YT channels simultaneously, while tuning and mechanicing. Man can do it all.
He has 3 girls! Enough said lol, legend!
@@scjdiving7067 Excellent point ! God bless him
He truly is a one man band

Shout out to cleetus for inspiring daily uploads from KSR!
Midwest Drags became "MidWet Drags"
Cleetus + KSR what a Team.
Kevin getting all the shots. Car builder/engineer, tuner, camera man, and all around nice guy. Great video.

LOVE the recording of your adjustments rather than most people who just talk about it. Makes us feel like we're on the pit crew.
I can't be the only one who's really enjoying these companion/ bts videos of drag week..... keep 'em coming Kevin
The one thing I can't stand about a KSR video that i hate the most is it comes to a end 😒 Keep them coming KSR one of the best channels on RUclips HELL YEAH BROTHER
similarly, i keep expecting bloopers after the end card. cures you technology connections!
We were about to fight there for a second
I swear I learn something new every time I watch a KSR video. Today it was the difference in gearing for the 340 v 389. Great job. And DAMN if those low-angle, the track launch shots aren’t amazing.
Man it looks like Cleet is inviting people one by one to shadow him when they're packing up the car. True Gentleman.
Kevin, I love that track level Camera angle footage.. it can tell you a Lot . Use it Everytime.
Man, ya gotta love that 90's sitcom jazz at the end. It's just so relaxing
I associate that piece of royalty free music so hard with the outro of the Technology Connections youtube channel that whenever I hear it here I keep expecting the outtakes to start playing. :D
Yeah we are all sort of used to DMCA free music by now. Kind of a bummer but it’s better than silence I guess.
Lol seriously
Honestly I feel like someone put me on hold…which is somehow appropriate considering these videos are a series about race week. 😂
I like seeing the struggles as much as the triumphs. Goes to show even in "the big leagues" people still struggle to get stuff perfect.

I haven't seen Kevin work this hard in a long time 😂😂😂 A two man crew has to be tough! Good job buddy 👍
Kev and cleet, two of the best humans i've ever come across. kudos to yawls moms and dads
The fact Kevin had all these adjustments built into this car before it ever saw the track, shows his level of nurd science that goes into every build. Lol ty Kevin for some schooling.
I love that you're not just there for the build but you're there for the road to 6's too. Good luck to you guys, I know it won't take long.
Love your work. Can’t wait to see more non-Mullet projects you have in the pipeline. The level of detail you go into explaining your ideas is top notch
Kevin getting those data shots of the Elco launching. Mint👌
“Pry bar” = large screwdriver. You know, just like in everybody else’s toolbox. 👍
Kevin... you are a genius....
KSR the most magical car builder in all the land.
I can't wait to see Mullet when he's all dialed in and running high 6s.

Make sure ol Cleet does not "accidentally" drive off and forget the hood.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Kevin hand cam at 9:58 while lining him up 😂😂
Making the big adjustments on a brand new build on multiple tracks on a race week.
Legends.
Lol cleetus in the background with the KSR harmony at the beginning had me laughing from the start, you guys are living my best life right now! Its my dream to bring my car to the states and do a raceweek! Would be epic, specially rocky mountain raceweek!
Kevin you are a awesome tuner and mechanic to have for race week. Yall are definitely an amazing team together. I hope yall do more.

Kevin you are a magician. Great teamwork too, engineer and driver. Love it when adversity turns into triumph. Class act.
Congratulations on the win Kevin y’all deserve it after all the work the KSR team has done to make mullet everything it is.

Ah the Joys of a new Race car . Especially on Race week . 😁 . Great Job working out the Bugs Kevin . And you get to hang with Ol Cletus .

Kevin's got more camera angles than a student film. Love it! Hell yeah!
I appreciate that Cleet can show restraint while driving a 7sec car on the street. I'd be doing all kinda pulls getting in trouble lol
With a trailer?
It’s hard enough finishing the week while being competitive, not to mention they’re dialing in a brand new car in unfavorable weather. Not the best time for shenanigans.
Why be stupid when you have the track waiting
This is why "normies" hate car people.
Is good to see this level of commitment with a project, Kevin is a beast!
Chasing that tune, Kevin a true artist.
Kevin I just wanna say your just awesome 😎
Nice outro music, it's relaxing. A gear change is a huge change. Keep it up!
Holy cow. That last pass looked scary. Hopefully the next track has some prep done.
I can feel the frustration but you and old cleet work well as a team can’t wait for tomorrow and looking forward to RMRW this has been a good shake down for a new build
