This was in the watchlist for a really long time. I know of Tan Teng Boo, but wasn't really interested in stock investment. Glad I watched him for his insight into the economy, and politics. Disagree with his view on diversifying; although I think it is limited by the smaller pool of investments available in the region.
This should be a multi-bagger channel. I believe the viewership of this channel has a significant correlation with the level of investing literacy of Malaysians.
@@TheFIRLPodcast keep doing what you guys are doing... While the viewership and following might be a bit discouraging for now, I am sure the percentage of those who clicked in and finish watching the entire content is high
Seems like not much people knows the truth behind Teng Boo and Capital Dynamics. Dude was even praised by certain communities at a given time. Just search up the company's Glassdoor review, and the performance of the separate managed funds called ICCF, ICGF and ICIVF.
If I were you, I will stay away from Glassdoor reviews. Look at Apple review in Glassdoor. Why are its workers forming trade union? Low wages in a high-stress environment? Btw, Glassdoor is not an NGO, how does Glassdoor make MILLIONS???
To be a super investor for this so-called "fun Manager" is to put FD in the bank and collect management fee perpetually from Closed End shareholders, At the same time Draw a big cake on the wall telling his investors to be patient....hahaha isn't it easy... check put his performance in Icap international fund, etc, you know his performance...laugh me die so called fun manager more precise
Agreed. I think he is too excited for nothing. His laughter was piercing. I had to lower the volume when he laughed, and raise it after that to hear Mr Tan.

An interesting walk back in time in the early section of this Podcast
Great interview👍Hope FIRL get the chance to invite others Malaysia legend, Dr Neoh Soon Kean or Mr Fong Siling to this session.

The white shirt guy laughing on and off for no apparent reason is very annoying to watch.
