I just finished watching GG - it seems like the writers wanted the healthy relationships to die. Rufus and Lily turned to something terrible. D & B relationship was good then right at the end of season 5 it flipped and they SUDDENLY made Blair go back to the abusive ex Chuck. Serena herself turned from a good person to a B*** who was trying to pull Dan down with her. Nate was a good person then he was basically ignored by the writers and they couldn't bother to do any character development with him. I could go on - I just wish I could go back and re-write the show from near the end of season 5 on. Who knows, maybe they'll do a reboot in a few years and fix the problems?
Some people say they shipped them from the first episode, but I think for most of us it was something that grew on us. On the fourth episode we see the beginning of it, but we don't even notice it. But by the end of season 3 and beginning of season 4 I personally started to see and feel this couple that would become the best this show ever had. One of the only good ones, really, only beaten by Dan's S4 hair.
This video is Perfect, well done. Show writers gave Blair away to Evil at the end, but in my heart Dan & Blair stayed together, married and had 2 children. Long live DAIR.
The GG ended with them going to Rome and living happy ever after. The writers sold their soul to ratings and mediocrity. The last episode of 5 and infamous Season 6 are a travesty.
But didn't since Safran left the show and let the show be run by the 2 biggest Chair shippers because they wanted ratings and to listen to the audience members who Chair and Darena William and Lily the 3 most toxic and unhealthy relationships on the show instead of listening to cast since they wanted Dan and Blair Rufus and Lily Serena and Nate as endgame.
HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA I LAUGH AT ANYONE WHO THINKS THAT THERE'S ANYTHING MORE EPIC - YES I'M USING THIS WORD - THAN DAN AND BLAIR'S STORY. This is amazing. This just shows everything. This is as perfect as they are. This is so beautiful. There's no other reality, just the one when Dan and Blair live HAPPILY ever after, like equals, like a team.
AMAZING!! Dair is the ONLY good thing to EVER come out of GG!! I just don't know how any can't see that. I'm losing my faith in humanity, except for with you. This is such an amazing video!!

Nice video! it's 2019 and still, I can't get over them. How can you not ship Dan and Blair when Penn and Leighton made it look so believable that other pairings seem bland? Their eye-staring and pining looks, good words about each other and do I need to say more, just watch every scene that they were together and you'll know what I mean.
I can't even begin to explain how much I love this video. I haven't watched this show since they ruined this perfect couple, and I probably never would have again, but you just reminded me of exactly why I loved it. Thank you for that.
