Regularly dive my ‘09 Escalade ESC from Virginia to Long Island laden with 2 large German shepherds, 2 additional passengers with full luggage and I average 17-19 mpg. The trip is 450 miles and I have a 1/4 tank remaining upon arrival. Love this powerful all wheel drive vehicle
Took a road trip in a 2005 Yukon X .L 5.3L fully loaded 8 passengers and over 1700 miles round trip. Averaged 16.8mpg. Yes the escalade has a larger engine but it has a way better transmission and its the short version. I'd say get a tune-up or something is not right
I drove an 08 Yukon, 13mpg sounds about right for average, but highway I would get 16ish. Parents have a 16 Escalade now and get around 22 on the highway. The newer models’ Diesel option looks like a beast tho, 30+ on the highway.
How is that I own I 14 ESV platinum i get on the highway I get 500 miles to a tank on my 04 suburban I get 550 miles to a tank in the city the 13 to14 miles a gallon in my suburban city driving I get 15 to 16

my 2012 ESV gets about 17-18 MPG highway, using cruise control, running 93 or 87 octane
how did it run on 87 octane?

That MPG is not normal for that SUV. Something myst be wrong with it.
