I have a 2016 jeep grand Cherokee my headlight control knob switch will not function., I just replaced it with a new one from the factory and still can’t access my lights. I can’t turn them on and off they always stay on the only time they turn off is when the car is off. Do you have any idea what it could be?
Nope! Not at all! I've been checking it a lot because I know it gets hot especially in the summer, but no issues no smells and no flickering of the lights. I'll check it in the extreme cold too... thanks for watching!!

Thank you, I'd check your fuses and relays. That's where I'd start, to be honest. Sounds like something tripped or blew.

How long does it last ? Wouldn’t the ribbon leds die out faster ?
To be honest I'm not sure, but I agree with you. I think it being brighter and being on longer will make them burn out sooner.
