Though RiseBreak obviously doesn’t have the raw graphical horsepower that WorldBorne does because different hardware, I think the art style makes it hold up well and it’s little things like Ludroth’s mane are a good example as to why. It looks so good.
This is the first time I see someone refer to Rise and Sunbreak as Risebrrak

Personally, i love Royal Ludroth, so i'm really happy with this weeks video :)
Glad to see you brought back talking about typical armor skills. I enjoyed it and i think it works well in this new, shortened form.
3U's Ludroth is my favourite, as i feel that the water focussed areas really add to it's theme. But i also enjoy him in Sunbreak and... yeah, he does look amazing there.

Man underwater combat is a bit tedious for me to fight monsters in my 3ds
Especially Ceadeus, they could change the fight to similarly Jhen Mohran if they decide to bring him back
But after the final fight, he's actually trying to get on land like a seal
I thought he looked like a hybrid of a seal and whale just because of the body
But while he's on land trying to get to the village, you actually do similar things but actually (I hope) you get on him and put anti dragon bombs around his horns to break them easily
So they could figure some other way instead of underwater combat for Lagiacrus, they might be able to make a copy of Royal Ludroth and make it big to test the ground
Since Lagiacrus has trouble with the ground
Like Najarala sadly

Ludroth is a shining example of why water combat should've been kept in the series. Knowing what he can do underwater makes fighting him on land just... sad. On a related note, is anyone running a Monster Hunter Tri server?
Loving the Armor Evolution format!
They could rework Purple to spread his poison with slamming attacks in a similar manner to painting with a sponge. Also a move were it squeezes itself dry and flings poison all over the area.
I really like this monster, since he was my first leviathan and underwater fight back in 3U -my first MH-.
Also, the Sunbreak version actually surprised me, I wasn't expecting such an aggressive Ludroth
Royal Ludroth's mane does look really good in Risebreak. I really noticed this during wyvern rides after using RL a lot in Stories 2. The mane will slightly move during animations which really gives it a spongy look
Recently got a figure builder model of him. Gotta appreciate the spongy boi
Love Purple Ludroth. The color is so pretty, and the fight is still as good, even if they butchered the hitzones.

The first time I played Monster Hunter my friend let me hunt a Royal Ludroth. It has been one of my favourite monsters ever since. It has a simple and believable design, and the cross between lion and monitor lizard looks great.
One things you forgot to mention about the stamina skills is that ludroth also drops dash extract so its pretty fiting

I wish people understood how water physics work instead of throwing temper tantrums because "ThAt ToTaLlY dIdNt HiT mE!!!!!11!1!1" Seriously, the people complaining about getting knocked around when a monster rushed past them are the only reason water combat was removed. You'd think that the players had never gone swimming in their entire lives or something.
@@CoralCopperHead Well yeah. Because with those type of lads it's not swimming, it's sinking to the bottom like an anchor lol

How much they improved Ludroth from GU to Rise makes me resent we didn't get Agnaktor or Lavasioth instead of Magmadron.
I don't think Magmadron prevented Agnaktor from being in. I straight up think they wanted Agnaktor as well but couldn't add him for the same reason as Lagiacrus.
Besides, Magmadron fights differently. Agnaktor's whole thing is fighting like Lagiacrus but digging and ambushing you, and letting you hit him when he resurfaces. Magmadron's whole thing is tossing lava at you.
Magmadron is comepletely different fightstyle tho.

Tbh one thing I like about this series
Is how well all the monsters look
Like all of them look like they have aged very well looks wise
Cause RL does look the best in Rise but he doesn't look bad in the other game
That's what good art direction does for a game. It means the visuals will age well

I like Ludroth in 3U the most. While his land Moveset is more flashed out, hes a big pushover there, but in the Wather hes like a mini Lagiacrus, serving as a nice tutoral for you.
Early Monster often fullfill some kind of Tutorial role, and I think Ludroth does it decently. I realy enjoy his hunt, its a funny little Guy.
Ludroth in Rise got some hitzone Changes what change the Dynamic of the Fight a bit.
I like the Armor Section, you struggle a bit giving it a good Structure what isnt too dry and long but also informative, but the Idea is good, and sould stay.
You could piint out what Skills are the most common on every Set combined. Like if Rathalos has Earplugs, and fire Attack often, you can say thats his most porominent skills.

Idk, I think purple is need idea. Like maybe it’s a different species of symbiotic sponge on a normal ludroth.
I have literally never seen it’s slide attack because it never survived that long 😭😭😭😭
