hope they have some real surprises on this album. However this is why the band is so happy with Jeff this just feels so natural and easy for them, plus they get to do what they always wanted which is to release allot of new music. They hopefully will follow this up quickly with a very heavy album. Jeff is naturally inclined to do all these styles. Long live STP!!!!

new, high quality music like this really saved me this year. I had a severe falling out with some friends at the end of last year, and it carried over into 2020 for a shitty start to the year, and i ended up being re-diagnosed with depression while i was going through this, and i was diagnosed with autism shortly before that. I thought what happened had completely ruined my year, and for a while, it was ruined, but as time went on, time began to heal me. I had my summer camp on Zoom, went to an addiction recovery center, and explored mass amounts of new music and ended up saving 130 new songs, most of which are rock. I may have lost a lot of friends throughout my life, but they each taught me something and helped shape me into the person i am today. I've now been accepted into college, and have a job. Fare Thee Well to the ones i've lost, and cheers to the ones i have now and have yet to meet
I saw them in St. Louis in the summer of 2018. They were amazing. Jeff is a great fit.

Just listen to his voice. This guy is a singer! Wow! Of course, not to forget Scott; but Jeff Gutt is himself and man can he carry it? Hell yeah. Saw them perform before the pandemic and they were great. That energy is back. Maybe this is my opinion, but I'll stand by it, the DeLeo Brothers and Eric Kretz found the best pure vocalist today. They've got a lot ot records and singles in them.

It is interesting to me to read some comments, while positive, of people surprised how Stone Temple Pilots have progressed or evolved after hearing Fare Thee Well. This band has been evolving since Core in 92', and there was even some hints on that album that there was more growth to come. Purple opened the floodgates of possibilities and the musicianship continued to flow on Tiny Music, No.4, SLDD, and 2010 S/T. Never mind putting the band in the discussion of Top 90's Rock Bands...they are one of the best rock has ever seen. The 2018 album with Jeff was solid, and it seems like there is plenty more beautiful music to come! Miss Scott terribly, but I think he would be happy and proud of what Robert, Eric, and Dean have done in finding Jeff and continuing on.
