I love the 3 minute Thursday series. You give a concise explanation to the problem in 3 minutes. That is why I loved your 21 minute lesson where you broke it down into 3 minute segments.
I agree with you Giles in that we should let the club do it's work in transition. It' when we, as golfers, try to manipulate the club that gets us in trouble. I have been trying to more pay attention to a lighter grip and loose wrists so that I can let gravity assist me in delivering the club into the hitting zone! Well Done Giles! Always enjoy your Thursday lessons!
I don’t think this is what Giles is advocating. I think he is saying you have to get the trail elbow into the correct position at the top of the backswing so that the hands can be pulled down in the correct direction that gets the club in a good delivery position. I suppose you would consider this manipulation?
Is the 3 minute Thursday series something you enjoy?
Very helpful!

@@tedblaikie1580 Good Point Ted! I am always aware of the folding and the unfolding of the right elbow, keeping it close to my right side!
More about arms staying in front so you can pull down however great tempo is always a key
Never focused on that & I’m in the camp that thought you had to shallow it more
Hope it helps
