As a Mexican who lives in Merida, I can confirm you'll enjoy here, we accept any civillian! Indians, Americans, Canadians, Russians, Ukranians, British, Even People that don't have enough things to survive.
I accidentally found your video your family is beautiful, it was informative video. I appreciate the learning about the culture and not just visiting the destination.
We’re glad you stumbled upon our channel 😊 Thanks for the love… we really enjoy both the tourist side and getting to experience the local people and culture.
I love this video so much information that could be used for our trip in June of this year. We may be looking you guys up if you are still there. Thanks so much for sharing.
Ok, I know it's because I'm a huge fan, but still, I can't be the only one who caught the painting of Anthony Bourdain flipping the bird in here!! 3:22 She flipped that hat because she wanted everyone to recognize her queendom!! There's a community there? Might have to check that place out. Great video y'all!!
Hey Guys! We just have to say how incredible your trip to Mexico has been so far! Merida looks stunning and again, it's amazing to see the whole family exploring different cultures together. It's so heartwarming to hear that the locals have been kind and helpful in recommending activities for you to enjoy. And that chocolate store you visited - wow, it looked incredible! We loved seeing all the different treats you picked out, and we're especially excited to see the Air BnB in the next episode! Thank you for sharing your fantastic time, and we've been enjoying every moment of your trip!
Hey Jacob Family! Thanks for the luv and support. 😊 Visiting Merida really was an eye opening experience. It’s on our short list of places to possibly live one day.
it's always nice to see happy and beautiful families such as this one in this video enjoying Merida. Welcome to Mexico, my friends. You're always welcome, enjoy your stay 👍
@@TheFabJerLife Tired of the States. We’re in TX. We’re looking to visit next March and buy but won’t officially move till the little one graduates HS.
Hola!
Hi Gloria 😊 Merida does have a similar colonial charm to it, but culturally the cities couldn’t be more different. We loved both, but if we had to chose it would be Mérida.
@@TheFabJerLife yes Merida has Spanish some french with Maya and Nola has french and some Spanish with African ❤️fascinating! So similar and yet soo different❤️😍
WOW!! Merida, Mexico is amazing and beautiful. Y’all be careful crossing the streets. Hold on tight to the children and each other ❤❤❤❤Thanks for sharing!
For some reason whenever I paste the link it doesn’t work, but when I click the link on the video it still works. You may need to open the AirBnB app and search for “Altana Loft” in Merida.
Why have the Cartels avoided this city? I have no idea which part of Mexico the city of Merida is located in. But I've heard the Cartels are operating just outside some other tourists cities.
Merida isn’t really a “tourist” city per se. Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, and Tulum are though. In general the Yucatan Peninsula is a pretty safe region. From what we have been told by our Mexican friends, cartels do their business primarily in the states that border the US.

Thank you 😊 We love Mérida so much!
Loved hearing from the couple visiting from ATL and considering relocating
Even just being there for 2 1/2 days made us think about retiring there.
This was too good! Yall are a fabulous family.
Thank you so much 😊
We loved Mérida!
