Hola! Espero sigan en mexico aún, les recomiendo enormemente ir a la Laguna Bacalar esta a 5 horas de merida el agua es hermosa! Se los recomienda una yucateca, es garantía. ❤
¡Hola! Habíamos planeado visitar la Laguna Bacalar pero no estuvimos en Mérida el tiempo suficiente. Definitivamente tendremos que visitarlo en nuestro próximo viaje a Yucatán.

Merida does have a similar colonial charm to it, but culturally the cities couldn’t be more different. We loved both, but if we had to chose it would be Mérida.
@@TheFabJerLife yes Merida has Spanish some french with Maya and Nola has french and some Spanish with African ❤️fascinating! So similar and yet soo different❤️😍

@@TheFabJerLife Tired of the States. We’re in TX. We’re looking to visit next March and buy but won’t officially move till the little one graduates HS.

Can you share a link to the Airbnb you stayed at? The link on your prior video doesn’t work :(
For some reason whenever I paste the link it doesn’t work, but when I click the link on the video it still works.
You may need to open the AirBnB app and search for “Altana Loft” in Merida.
Why have the Cartels avoided this city? I have no idea which part of Mexico the city of Merida is located in. But I've heard the Cartels are operating just outside some other tourists cities.
Merida isn’t really a “tourist” city per se. Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, and Tulum are though.
In general the Yucatan Peninsula is a pretty safe region. From what we have been told by our Mexican friends, cartels do their business primarily in the states that border the US.
