  • Are folks bouncing off Blender? Here's some tips that would have helped me back when I was bouncing off Blender.

    I think almost every professional program in existence would benefit from a “bouncing off” style tutorial. I dont even use blender, but I found this video engaging.

      I agree. The hardest time to learn a program is after you've tried and failed.

    I am used to focus follows mouse so I never noticed the behavior. Thank you for explaining it and the rest so well.

    Fun fact the focus mouse panel thing is what sold me on blender immediately, I already had a tendency to forget that you had to click to focus on traditional ui to this day, so blender was like coming home I never knew I had 😂

    I've been using blender for a while and I never noticed that hotkey mouse placement mattered... That's actually really interesting. And really unfortunate.

    I have no problems getting to grips with the workflow in anything from solidworks and houdini to c4d and maya....but blender just isn't compatible with me. it's annoying but in order to not commit suicide, I've just given up on blender until they fix the goddam UX... it was worse before but it remains a nightmare.
