YES, I needed this video. I dislike so many loose powders because they are SO drying so I stick with my pressed powders from Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, No 7 and Nikkia Joy. Holy grails right there.
Thanks for the in depth recommendations. I am in my 40’s and can still use the hourglass powder under my eyes. The one step I have added is to moisturize before applying concealer. I noticed a couple of years ago that this was a must.
This was the video I needed!! I have been struggling with dry skin this winter and my undereye area has been looking crepe like with my normal powders. I have combination skin and normally slightly more oily during summer and spring but winter here in New England is dry as a bone! I'm really looking forward to trying the Pat McGrath powder!! I use the Givenchy prisme Libre loose setting powder on everything but my undereye area. It blurs out everything and helps with redness! It smells amazing but it is very pricey and because I got the lightest shade which has green in it I find I can't use it under my eyes it turns my concealer gray but if I had 1 shade up it would be chefs kiss under the eyes. It doesn't crease and I swear it's swear proof because it lasted hours in very hot humid weather. Also the Fenty loose setting powder in butter I use often. I've had it for years and still reach for it. I just haven't found my holy grail for under eyes. I'm thinking that the Pat McGrath will be the one though! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
U should try the NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder-Crystal. I like it for touch ups over the face. I used it once for my under eyes and it did crease but for the face it was nice
Guerlain Meteriorites (the classic version) looks amazing under the eyes as a setting powder and one tin will last you forever! It's intended to be a finishing powder, but it also works as an all over setting powder for me in the dead of winter.
I wish One Size was available in the UK 😢🥺🥺😢 I've just used the Nokia Joy today, including under my eyes, and I have zero complaints .... I have very dry skin! I hope you and your Grandma are now together. She is in my prayers 🙏🏻 With love, 💗💗💗💗
Planning to shop through your links to add the ones I need to add. Please do this type of video for concealers, bronzers and foundations because I would love to get suggestions related to my dryer skin! Love this video so helpful
I have dry mature skin and I love that Hourglass powder and I have the PMG in the yellow, I’ll get the white one when I finish up the other one, just got the Nikkia Joy powder and loving that one too.🥰
I subscribed to your channel after watching the delightful video of your grandmother doing your makeup. Your personality and hers were so charming. I’m so sorry to hear about your grandma’s diagnosis, and I hope she is doing okay. :).
Fantastic video Patty I do have dry skin and I don’t like to look cakey or dry. I own the PML under eye and it arrived kinda broken and seems very fragile like I store it upright and noticed some cracks the other day. I love the Huda beauty pound cake it’s my go to for long lasting make up and more of a full glam effect. Anyway thank you for all the other options 💕
Your two favorites are also my two favorites, but I also have to add in the Hourglass yellow’y powder (Diffused maybe?) for setting under eyes. The PM is a little drier than the HG, but the HG still does a great job at fending off creases.
I too have an issue using the Hourglass powder to set my under eyes. I have the Huda Beauty in pound cake as well, I just don’t like the intense scent, so I hardly use it. I might have to check out the Pat McGrath powder. 🧐😆
Hi Patty; I can't thank you enough for the Alamar highlighter recommendation! It is my new Holy Grail, and I have since given away several highlighters since it arrived. Keep the reviews coming as I always trust your viewpoint.
@@nena00naja it's the La Arena - Sun Soaked Highlighter. The formula is truly special as I don't own a powder highlighter like it. It feels like a cream to powder but it's only powder. Patty recommended as one of the top in her collection it an she owns many more highlighters than I do. VMMV
Would you be willing to review the Saie Airset powder soon? It's been recommended for dry to very dry skin. Really interested in your opinion on this for those of us who are in their 60's with mature, dry skin. Thank you!
Great video dear Patty!!!!👍👍🤩🤩🤩🤩 I like the Gucci powder, love the PMG one for under the eyes!!! Also the Kosas one for under the eyes, as well as Koh Gen Do. For the face also these brands, but mostly Koh Gen Do or Hourglass, sensitive skin here too. Loved the video, thanks so much, have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
I found a way to bake dry skin and I’m impressed. First I used nars pressed light reflecting powder then I go over that w the Huda cupcake (more of a baby bake) but it makes a HUGE difference if you bake on top of a light weight hydrating powder Vs directly on the skin… Pat McGrath even looked dry on me so if I can do this anyone can lol
Hourglass powders are the best I ever try I’m exited about the huda in banana bread I heard so many good things about it but I have so many hourglass and I also own the La Mer loose powder but I definitely gonna try the Huda thanks for sharing babe BTW I order the subversive palette 🥰 I’m so exited to try it I’m new to the Pat collection Omg I try the Pat under eye setting powder and OMG I have to have it too😶
This was really helpful, Patty! I’d like to try that One Size powder. How do you make sure you get all of the creases out before setting concealer w powder? That part confused me. Thanks 😉😽
Mmm I find it tricky to use… some days I hate it and others I love it I think it has to do with method of application I haven’t thought about it too much but I think that with a dry puff might be that I’ve gotten the best results
Hi Patty, love your videos. I wondered how the new Laura Mercier blurring powder that recently came out compares to the Pat McGrath under eye powder. I know you did a video for that but I want to know what you think of them compared to one another. How do you feel about powders that have talc? I've heard some negative things about Talc. I have a lot of problems with dark circles and creasing because I have very dry skin, same pigmentation as you. Also, are you using the LYS porceilen/light shade? It's what your link defaults to. I want to get the right shade/same as you. Lastly, do you ever have creasing in your laugh lines by your mouth at all? I use powder just for under eye and that laugh line for creasing. Sorry for all the questions, but I rely on your info. You're the best.
Just came across this video as im looking at getting an under eye powder! Debating between this, huda or givenchy.. dry skin, i want something thats radiant without being sparkly! Have you tried the givenchy?
Patty thank you so much for this video. I have ultra dry, flaky skin and I am going to get the PMG based on your recommendation as well as the Hourglass one. I really enjoy your content! Much love ❤️ and hope your grandma is doing well. 😍
I bought the PM powder because of you I love it just slight con its so soft it crumbles so easily lol...but loves it..but I got the yellow one maybe I should get the lighter one. does it add color for you? Cause I'm darker than you. But if its transluscent maybe I can use that one. I hate to buy by big influencers or celebrities oh no you mentioned Gucci shit I'm in trouble.. oh thankgosh you said its for the face I dont' really use powder for my face thankyou jesus lmao didnt want to add another expensive one lol..
I love the HB powder in pound cake and it’s one of the few the looks really good under my eyes. I have combo to dryer leaning skin. Ty for the recommendations
I can't get the PML undereye powder to work for me. It dries my undereyes out instantly and I can see flakes I didn't even know I had. Had better luck with LYS, no 7 and fenty loose.
Me too! I have the PMG in light and yellow - initially it seems almost too wet and my concealer gathers in lines and I’m about two hours it sucks every bit of moisture out making my under eyes drier than with any other powder and freezes those creases in place. The Charlotte airbrush is too greasy for my face but also dries my under eyes out like no other ……. I’m still in the hunt for a perfect powder. Think I’ll try the Huda next - also looking at some of the newer powders with hyaluronic acid - also hate the by terry . The one size and Hourglass are just ok for me but my under eyes are incredibly dry
Hello everyone really hoping we all have a wonderful day. 😊 Make sure to hit that like button yall. That's such a amazing thing to be able to do to help our favs. God bless us all now and always. Enjoy your video everyone. Stay safe all. Much love to us all now and always...❤💖💙💕💞🌹💫

I know ppl love CT powder under the eyes for dry skin but it was just as drying to others to me!
A drugstore version of this video would be fabulous!
Thanks for the in depth recommendations. I am in my 40’s and can still use the hourglass powder under my eyes. The one step I have added is to moisturize before applying concealer. I noticed a couple of years ago that this was a must.
You should try the byterry loose one! It's amazing, I have very dry and it's undetactable on the skin!
BYterry is phenomenal as well.

I need to try out that Pat McGrath powder!
I just bought the Pat McGrath in a deeper shade to use as bronzer during the 30% she just had. Love that powder
Hi Patty; I can't thank you enough for the Alamar highlighter recommendation! It is my new Holy Grail, and I have since given away several highlighters since it arrived. Keep the reviews coming as I always trust your viewpoint.
Hi I’m curious about the alamar highlighter what’s it called? I’ve tried alamar bronzers and blushes haven’t tried any highlighter!
@@nena00naja it's the La Arena - Sun Soaked Highlighter. The formula is truly special as I don't own a powder highlighter like it. It feels like a cream to powder but it's only powder. Patty recommended as one of the top in her collection it an she owns many more highlighters than I do. VMMV
Thanks for great recommendations! Always looking for non-drying powders!!
LOVE Huda powder, need to try pats x
Damn! BRB going to Sephora because powder makes me look dry asf. Only powder that doesn’t do that is the revlon candid if used very lightly.
I just adore your channel! 🎀💖💕
Would you be willing to review the Saie Airset powder soon? It's been recommended for dry to very dry skin. Really interested in your opinion on this for those of us who are in their 60's with mature, dry skin. Thank you!
I agree with the hourglass I cannot make it work under the eyes!
Do you use anything other than natural hair brushes? I’m an allergy lady and am usually allergic to natural hair products…
Also would love to see best eye shadows for dryer lids and best metallics and shimmers for dryer lids
Love this video concept!
Do you like huda or one size powder better ? Thank you
The kosas cloud set is incredible for dry skin!
I love this video!!! Could you tell me which one out of all is the most blurred one??? ❤ one size? Pat?
I swear I was thinking; omg my powder looks so dry, I need to changed It... Then I go to RUclips and I saw this 🤩🤩🤗 perfect timing❤️❤️ besos bellaaa

I found a way to bake dry skin and I’m impressed. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the Kosas one or the Givenchy Prisme one. I have dry skin and those two are my favorites!
The brush you said you use that has real hair, what’s the hair from? Goat hair?
what are your thoughts on the pat mcgrath loose powder for dry skin?
Just came across this video as im looking at getting an under eye powder! Debating between this, huda or givenchy.. dry skin, i want something thats radiant without being sparkly! Have you tried the givenchy?

No Kosas Cloud Set?!? 🤔
What do you think of the Laura marcie
Is the brush you used with the P.McGrath under eye, the W.G.edit 1 or 3?
What foundation do you use?
Can you do another video but with drugstore options
I bought the PM powder because of you I love it just slight con its so soft it crumbles so easily lol...but loves it..but I got the yellow one maybe I should get the lighter one. does it add color for you? What about if you have a oily T zone and rest of your skin is dry
I have 2 out of 5 but I do want the Huda
Hi, have you tried the new Saie translucent powder? I heard it wonderful for dry skin.
I love the HB powder in pound cake and it’s one of the few the looks really good under my eyes. I have combo to dryer leaning skin. Ty for the recommendations

Nice. Thank you
Have you tried the no7 lift and illuminate under the eyes?
Would have been better if you actually showed up close...but thanks the suggestions are helpful
HI PATTY I HAVE SEVERE MATURE DRY SENSITIVE SKIN I WILL BE BUYING THESE POWDERS SOON! THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEW 💐💜
I can't get the PML undereye powder to work for me. It dries my undereyes out instantly and I can see flakes I didn't even know I had. Had better luck with LYS, no 7 and fenty loose.

Never mind you just answered my question
😆
Dior powder no powder!
$30 for a TENTH of an ounce ! WTF!!
The Patrick star for dry skin? Not for me, I look like the Sahara desert.😂
