I just listened to your interview with Vietcetera. I got truly motivated to hear about your story when you first moved to NY, that you woke up and waited every morning for the opportunities to come. And the reason why you started this RUclips channel, because you want to keep makeup as pure as it should be despite the TikTok trends that make the real beauty faded with light and filters. Anh Hung, you really helped me see my passion for my job (not makeup related) and what wakes me up every morning. Send you hugs
I get so much inspiration from you 😊 Besides the fact that you’re so knowledgeable, I also admire your approach to makeup. Thank you for teaching us and making makeup less intimidating!
Loved how you addressed the “dupe” situation. For me, from the powders you mentioned, Givenchy and Huda Beauty provide me with the most luxurious experience. I also love using two powders that were not on your team’s list: Dior Backstage Powder-No-powder and the translucent powder from Chanel. I’m still trying to make the loose powders from Pat McGrath to work for me, but her undereye blurring compact powder is amazing 🥰 I loved that you included Rae Morris as first choice, would love to try it out 😍 Thank you once again for taking the time to give details about your preferred products ❤️❤️❤️
@@user-christiexz I use it all over the face and neck and apply it with a large powder brush. It gives an elegant and very soft finish. The powder I’m referring to is Chanel “natural finish loose powder”, Hung was referencing the compact Les Beiges one (for anyone else reading the comment). P.S. for the undereye area I tested the loose powder only once, loved the finish, but don’t remember how long it lasted. For the rest of the face and decollètage it gives an elegant finish, and I love it for mature skin as well. It doesn’t dry the skin nor give that horrible “dried” finish, but it is matte, on the skin it feels non-existent in terms of comfort of wearing it. (I’m using powder shade 30Naturel- Translucent 2 and my skin looks like shade 3n2 in estee lauder double wear fdt)
@yolanteswelt I also use shade 3C in Estée Lauder concealer and my shade is also 30 in chanel wow(I use the “Les beigses water fresh complexion touch”Thank you for taking your time to answering ❤
The Chanel loose powder is awesome! It looks beautiful in photos and is the longest lasting of all the brands I've used, and I've tried almost everything. I'm also shade 30 🙂
This is really what I need. I used to concern a lot whenever i put facial powder on my makeup as I was scared of aging, unnatural or caky covering. Thanks anh Hung so muchhh ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Excellent! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. I used to use the Laura Mercier translucent powder for so many years but recently bought the Givenchy and I’m in love with it. Especially under my 59 years old under eyes ❤
I really like your calmness and your general approach to makeup. I learn so much from you! One of my favorite powders is the Hourglass vanish loose powder. Reminds me a lot of the Huda one.
I am so proud of you as I am myself a Vietnamese - American too. Thank you so much for all the beautiful work that you and your team had done for us!!!
@@hungvanngo Dạ không có chi!!! It was super nice of you to take the time and reply to all the comments. Btw, I loved your interview with the "Have a sip" a lot.
Thanks so much for this information Hung! I love this series. I’d like to share, from the perspective of someone with very oily skin and who has used everything available on the market without success, that I recently purshased the Danessa Myricks Blurring Powder, and it’s been a game changer. Finally something I can use and go through the day without oil blotting every half hour. I mean, I still have to blot but definitely not as often. I hope this is helpful to the conversation and to others with oily skin.
These videos are superb, Hung, please keep them coming. I suspect blush is next on the radar (which is great and exciting), and may be in the future you could do favorite serums? As skincare & makeup prep? The ones you use on your models and yourself, the ones you really really upon. PS may I just say how honorable it is that you always mention your team🥰
I just recently bought the Laura Mercier translucent powder for the first time 2 months ago! I love it, keeps my t-zone looking matte for hours. Thanks Hung!!
I have been using Laura Mercier for years, too. Their pressed powder is light weight but long lasting beautifully even on a combination skin of mine during Summer's hot and humid. Yes, their translucent powder and tinted moisturizer are wonderful too.
I love this series you are doing! I love to hear what you as an expert makeup artist like to use on clients & celebrities. I look forward to more videos like this. Thank you!! 😊❤️
You are always very clear! I like your explanation about differences in similar products. As in make up, for me, the same applies to many other things, like clothes, electronics, furniture and so on. Thanks for keeping sharing your work.❤
