BLDC Fan ka sbse bada jo cons hai, woh kabhi bhi lightning ki baje se kharap ho ja sakta hai. Kiu ki uska electronic system complicated hai. Repairing ho bhi sakta hai or nahi bhi. Repairing cost bhi high hoga.

My ceiling fan is 40 years old just changed bearings once, 20 years ago, capacitor works 4 to 5 years easily. Most important thing which they donot talk about is air throw, old fan have heavy motor and and thick metal blade which produce a very powerful air throw as compared to DC fan
The capacitor does not push in starting of motor, it is a 3-phase motor which means capacitor is required for phase shifting. Remotes have IR led not sensor. PCB contains microcontroller for coil excitation. Covering present in bearing helps to seal grease.

Regular AC fans have been tested for decades, they are a very mature technology and fans run well for a good 10-12 years (except capacitor changes, which is very cheap). BLDC fans are electronics driven with complex PCB, remote etc, and the chances of damaging delicate electronic components is very high. In fact, when these fans do need PCB change, the cost of the PCB is more than the cost of a regular AC fan. Also, AC fans with lights and fancy designs have existed since many years too, from reputed brands like Orient, Crompton, Bajaj etc. Overall, I would very much prefer the much sturdy and worry-free AC fans instead of the delicate BLDC fans any day !

not 3-phase it is 2 phase motor, capacitor gives another phase of 90deg lagging voltage so that motor can be auto start.

Conventional fans bahut long lasting hote hain & repair ki zaroorat pade toh comparatively cheaply aur har jagah repair ho jaate hain chahe fan 30 saal purana ho.
BLDC fan ki dugni, tiguni kimat hoti hai, jyada durable nahin hote conventional fans ki comparison main, more expensive to repair aur model purana ho jaye to pcb vagarah nahin milegain aur repair ke liye special knowledge chahiye.
Bhai chiye toda sa special knowledge but hai to circuit hi laptop repair ho jaata hai Mobile with complex circuit to ye bhi ho hi jayega with time.

Capacitor shuruaat mein push dene ke liye nahi balki 90⁰ phase difference create karne ke liye hota hai, jisse rotating magnatic field banti hai stator ke around aor rotor mein eddy current ki wajah se woh us rotating magnetic field ke saath saath ghumne lagta hai

3) agar company part supply karna band kar de to repair hone ke chances almost khatm ho jayenge
4) bldc fans ke reviews dekhoge to pata chalega her brand me 1 common problem hai ki pankha full speed pe karne par ya to slow ho jata hai ya band ho jata hai

Regular AC fans have been tested for decades, they are a very mature technology and fans run well for a good 10-12 years (except capacitor changes, which is very cheap). BLDC fans are electronics driven with complex PCB, remote etc, and the chances of damaging delicate electronic components is very high. In fact, when these fans do need PCB change, the cost of the PCB is more than the cost of a regular AC fan. Also, AC fans with lights and fancy designs have existed since many years too, from reputed brands like Orient, Crompton, Bajaj etc. Overall, I would very much prefer the much sturdy and worry-free AC fans instead of the delicate BLDC fans any day !
