This is the best video on how to assemble the best I've seen on the whole internet I just got one from Ukraine I watch this video 6 months ago because I knew I might have to reassemble it thanks
Thanks for the video, I have had one of these for a while, with the granite plates and I just used the QR system the other day, I remembered watching this video but couldn't remember the exact process
i need to get one of these. Theyre pretty inexpensive for what they are EDIT: I take that back now... as much as I still want one (maybe even more now), they are impossible to acquire unless you find someone in the USA who’s willing to sell theirs
I own one and it's not the worst. At the same time though it's not the best by a long shot, as I feel it shifts around too much and it's almost impossible to wear a regular backpack with it on
You probably already know but I think "Ratnik" is simply russian for "Soldier" that its not really a brand but something indicating its an issued item, part of the russian soldiers kit. So this would be soldiers equipment 6B45, another item is the Ratnik E6E which is a multitool, Ratnik 6X9 is a bayonet, 6E4-1 is a wristwatch, 6B50 goggles etc.
@@TheManinBlack9054 Ratnik means "Warrior" or "Soldier" in several languages. I just assumed it was same with Russian aswell. I guess not. Anyway, thats the origin of the word.
i think you bought it to small, it is supposed to go maybe right above where you normally wear a belt, because if you would buy a groin protector, it wouldn't even reach it I bought one myself and it is supposed to protect all of your torso
@@Tartarus34 hey, You will be off with a size 2 best, I am 174 cm high and also use a size 2 and it fits perfectly. It's about 50cm long at the front and back
Can you put in a more rectangular shape of plates ? Like old school russian from armor like NPO-SM? In mostly interested in shape on the upper part of the armor as my plates are rectangular but about the same size
Cool carrier! I was curious about the dimensions of the Granit plates vs the SAPI, I have wanted a Russian carrier for a while but the ones I looked at were all for "Granit-4" style plates, do SAPI plates fit in those pockets?
Some say it is gost 1+ which is more likely nij iiia. Others say it is level 1 which means only stops those weak makarov rounds and not even 9x19. There is a huge gap between these levels and I haven't seen anyone tested the kevlar. There are also some websites that claim its BR1 which barely stops 9x19
Not rly It depends on plate u put in it Russians use plates against 5,56 and 7,62 It depends on situation what they use In trial testing 6b47 plate carrier blocked 7.62x54r round from svdk dragunov 10feet away
This was really helpful for when I thought it would be funny to pull the quick release on my 6b45

stay away from ratnik

no u just go to greyshop
@@Алексправославныйраспев yeah, but it’s flimsy due to the fact that it doesn’t have what makes the 6b45 so great: aramid lining.

What the fuck? I have one of these and never realized that it has a qr feature. Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much. I bought one but I have no idea about its function and how to essembly. Your clip help so much.
The pocket in the end of the back is for smaller plate) also you can instull plates in the cummerbund to do the assault version

Ratnik is the name of the program. Soldat is the Russian term for soldier.

@@TheKimjoh560 it means warrior in russian too, but it's a very old word, like medieval. In modern-day Russia nobody uses that word anymore.

Three years later sadly but yes they do!
I thought the closest you could get to fitting plates in this was the swimmers cut ceramic plates?
Do shooter/swimmer cut plates work in it also?
they are smaller than large sapis so sure, I don't see why not
Is is original?
Cool armor! Where did you buy it?
I have one and bought mine on eBay
what kind of scabbard for the bayonet is that and where can i find it?
Yes, thats right) but the linning set is shitty in my opinion)
Does this have kevlar/aramid where the plates would go or is it only on the sides and collar
Yes it does
You say the whole thing is soft armor. But is there enough kevlar to actually protect against handgun rounds?
