@@chockergram The "dire" demo you mention is actually a great song in its own right -though badly sung. The chorus has always been the standout part of "It Couldn't Happen Here", more searing and emotionally intense than any other PSB song (and I'm a fan). It's not a surprise that Morricone wrote it. It's just musically that bit beyond the abilities of Chris and Neil.

When I hear this song it always reminds me of the feature film, which has been restored and is being released on DVD/Blu Ray this summer - can't wait!
