Many have asked. So here’s the info from George where to get the upgrades:
Hi Folks. Here are names of products asked about in comments:
1. Shower Rod is a Stromberg Carlson Extend-A-Shower EXT-3542. Can be trimmed to fit.
2. Rear View Camera is a Fookoo Ⅱ HD 9" Backup Camera System Kit. Can be found on that big A to Z site.
3. The table slide is Garelick/EEz-In Manufacturing 75081 Full Size Low-Profile Seat Slide on the A to Z site.
"That big A to Z site" LOL!!
So many solutions… who would have known that they are first time RVers! Love It…
It was a great setup
Very impressed with Sandra’s updates, follow ups and knowledge.
she's awesome
The shower modification is amazing!
Yes!
Hey ya’ll…I just took over an order for a ‘23 Unity MB and I am super stoked. One thing I’m curious about is what to expect in regular maintenance (and cost) on a Unity. I’ve found other vids that cover similar, but not of aLTV. I appreciate the one you made a while back on what’s covered and not covered by the 2yr warranty. Good info! Definitely helping me budget for future travels!
Not that much. I've paid about $400 total to MB service for oil change, Service A, etc.
Pete Rossi recommended your video! Wow, a Leisure Travel van with the Murphy bed! I'm so jealous! I hope you enjoy the heck out of it! Good health and happiness, and safest travels!
Thanks!
I just found a 2018 FX unicorn fully loaded! Can’t wait.:). Offered the dealer $10k below asking and they took it! The differences in the older units aren’t that much. The Mercedes chassis changed in 2019. It’s a 4 year wait now for a new one!
Nice!
Very cool. Always fun
Yes!
Brandon, you are welcome to join LTV Québec’s rally early June. We will have more than 110 coaches and a tremendous program!
Wow, that's a lot of LTVs!!! I may take you up on that if we can get up that way. Thanks!
The legend live and in person
Sandy is a legend!
Always enjoy your videos. My LTV that has been on order finally came in, so really excited about getting it. Have you done any videos regarding upgrading to Sumo Springs, or any opinions about them?
Great, thanks for watching! I don't plan to add the sumos, but do plan on upgrading shocks to Bilstiens at some point. Everyone I talk to say they make a massive difference.
Would love to get more details on Florida flamingo really in November…
If you go to leisurevans.com and then click on travel clubs, you can get the info there.
Brandon, please can I get information about the rear camera you installed?
Second , details on the curtain you used between the cab and coach.
Wow you did an Awesome job on your coach!
Take a look at the comment above and George put all the details there.
Hi Brandon. I would like to know if you have, or can get more info on the table slide mechanism the owners of the 2016 Unity TB added to their table. It would be nice to drop by and have a look ... but it is a bit far from western Canada! Thanks.
George put all of the info in a comment for you all.
I’ll probably see you in the keys if they deliver my U24TB, I have a home in Sarasota so not far away.
Hope you get it in time!
Hi Brandon, all. I am just getting around to life and the Leisure Travel van may be something for our future. Brandon- have you made a video for newcomers? From watching this video, purchasing a quality used TLV may be just the thing for us. I would love to know if your series has info for those just starting out (like me). I appreciate your time and love the informative video. Thanks!
Hi Sally, I have a few videos that are helpful. What exactly would you like to see?
Hi Brandon: Saw George and Elizabeth Clip. Would love to install their extending Shower Curtain Bar to our 2018 Unity TB. Where did they get it and/or how can I order. Thanks! John Pappanastos
Did you see George put all the info in a comment?
What is the brand of the backup camera installed on the 2016 Unity TB in this video?
George added all of the details in a comment.
Hi Brandon, are you planning on coming to Texoma group’s rally In Galveston?
in May.
I will check that out and see if we can go. Sounds fun!

I have an additional question: does your table still swivel, or now just slide. It looks to me like to get the slide in and keep the swivel one may have to reduce the height of the post (or go with a slightly higher table. Thanks for the clarification.
@@rickruhl9356 Yes, it still swivels as well. We love it.
Thanks George!
Did you install wired or wireless for the backup camera?
@@cynthiahughes8130 I installed a wired camera.
If litianics batteries installed, it can eliminate a generator?
Inverter ?
You don't have to have a generator, but they are nice to have in a pinch. You must have an inverter if you wish to use 110V outlets.
Are the Leisure Vans, either Wonder or Unity have walkable roofs? For inspections and service?
I’ve heard you can and can’t. Fortunately they are small enough you don’t have to do a lot of walking.
We forgot to mention during the video that we upgraded our solar controller and swapped out our lead acid batteries for a 200ah lithium battery. Next is an inverter upgrade and a second 200ah lithium battery. Oh, and I am upgrading the horn too!
You're right.... The horn is wimpy! I also need a larger inverter and I want to upgrade to lithium batteries. Please let me know what configuration you end up with. I would also like to know what curtain you used to separate the cab from the rear...to keep the A/C up front. Brilliant! I just bought a 2017 Unity RTB, just like yours one week ago. I am setting it up now. I also want to upgrade the speaker system in the unit. We need the unit to R-O-C-K! (I'm 64), but not roll.
@@stevegittleman1 I am going to install at 3000W Xantrex Freedom XC Pro inverter. Then, we are moving battery to the inverter compartment and adding a second 200ah LifeBlue lithium battery. My wife purchased the thermal/blackout curtains at Walmart, 63 inches long. Get the kind you slide the rod through, not the grommet top version.
@@georger7487 Did you replace the two batteries under the LYV's step with two 100ah LifeBlue's or did one 200ah LifeBlue fit?
Ah, bummer we didn't mention that
