இந்தக் காணொலியில் ஆங்கிலத்தில் வாசித்துப் பழகிக் கொள்ள, நான் கடைபிடிக்கும் சில பழக்கங்களைப் பகிர்ந்துள்ளேன். காணொலியில் இருக்கும் வழிகளைத் தாண்டி, முக்கால்வாசி ஆங்கிலப் புத்தகங்களில் முதல்பாதியிலேயே கடினமாக வார்த்தைகள் அனைத்தும் வந்துவிடும். எனவே முதல்பாதியை வாசித்துவிட்டால் மீதி புத்தகத்தை வாசிப்பது மிகவும் எளிமை.
In this video, I have tried to put-forth some of the methods that I apply when I read English Books. Hope this helps those who are trying to begin reading in English.

English books first padika start pandrapo romba basic English, purinjika easy ah iruka books padikalam, like Heidi, Treasure island, Gulliver's travel, indha madhri chinna chinna books padikalam. Indha books le meaning theriyatha words most ah irukaathu. Dictionary use pannama padikalam. Idhu pazhagita next level books like Ruskin bond, Ravinder Singh, indian author books padikalam. Word meaning therile na Kuda skip panni next line proceed pandrapo , andha word meaning namma easy ah guess pannidalam. Dictionary use pannama easy ah padikalam bro, words meaning Kuda easy ah therinjikalam. Try to read Indian authors, then read foreign authors. 1. According to me, if you don't understand a word in between, don't stop there. Continue to read and finish the statement or paragraph. If you still don't understand the context then you can google the words. Beca jumping out between books and dictionary will make you loose the connection.
2. When you pick up a book, it is very important to know that you really want to read the book. Meaning at least you should read the back cover and understand what is the book about and the plot description should be on your interest.
3. Most of the people pick up a complex book to start with and quit it in the middle. It's good if you start with a simple book. But after reading few pages in the beginning and if you can't understand the book, it's better to quit and start something else rather than forcing yourself on the same book.
4. I began my reading journey with Khaled Hosseini & Jeffery Archer and Harry Potter series.

My two approaches to evade cessation.
To begin with, before plunging into foreign authors books, reading few Indian books, particularly, fiction would be easy to go with accustomed vocabulary and sentence pattern and to procure confidence as well.
I've experienced it.
If I felt intractable with any english novel,either due to vocabulary or apathy, I would keep the reading process on hold for a while and fling myself into one short story as a respite. This tack allays the inexplicable aura around the novel and also gives a fulfilment of accomplishing something. It helps me to be tenacious and to regain my receding confidence to resume the process.
I've perceived this tactic as effacious and advantageous as well. Most of all the short stories I have read only through this tack.
