      @@B3Band I don't think Cena would be a spotlight hog like he was, if HHH was head of Talent at that point. Notice the whole roster has been getting love, and if you pay attention our opinions have more effect on the story than we ever had before. Vince did not care what we thought, he only chased the $, and HHH is so smart for giving us more power over the show's direction, it is paying off.

      People just don't understand how amazing proper healthcare has gotten now days. Nutrition, TRT, probiotics, and all these breakthrough medical advancements, even just in the last 10 years. You look at wrestlers from the 1980s and they look 50-55 at 30, and they're retired at 40. Vince wouldn't let "Macho Man" wrestle after 40 because he was "old", so he went to WCW. Met him at an event, told him “man you’re like late 20s or early 30s right” “Don’t burn your body out but your a top card and have so much career left” He said “thanks, but I’m 40, I appreciate your compliment on how old I look though” Told him “what no way” and I Googled it right in front of him and sure enough he was 40. That was a year ago, give or take a month or two, so he’s like 41 now. I’m 39 and no matter what I do I’ll never look 10 or 20 years younger.

    • @breauxcewayne1971
      @breauxcewayne1971 6 месяцев назад +117

      If you notice when he’s talking about the person that said it “that’s John Cena you should be raising his hand”
      There was a little lisp in his voice when he said and it sounded just like Cody Rhodes. Knights does impressions very well and probably didn’t even realize he was doing it. It wouldn’t be someone in creative because they already planned this out. So it would have had to been another wrestler. Rhodes meant well but Knights approach to his character is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE and you’re right it would have made absolutely no sense for him to raise Cenas hand. Knight did it later on and acknowledged he remembered the person telling him so it clearly wasn’t anything heated. I’m just speculating it was Rhodes because of the voice and sounds like something he would say because his approach is 100% babyface. Knight approach is completely different because he got over as a heel and hasn’t changed much haha

    LA Knight did the right thing here. Cena tried to steal the spotlight so-to-speak like he and The Rock tend to do when they put someone over (i.e., 'you went over, but only because I let you, I'm the bigger star, etc.'). Knight doing this was to preserve his character arc as the next Top Guy.

    I know John Cena's been in the WWE for well over 20 years and he's definitely a future hall of famer, but it used to be "That's Undertaker" "That's Stone Cold" "That's The Rock" "That's Hulk Hogan" and it's always been "That's John Cena" but for some reason, again even knowing he's great, it still hits hard. Maybe because he's officially retiring next year.

    I remember that and I thought it was really cool for la knight to be like nah nah and raise cenas hand instead. I remember cena saying at the post press that moment caught him off guard but really appreciate the respect from la knight and was happy to have the chance to work with the guy. I also remember the journalist asking cena all the questions and cena got testy asking if anyone has a question for la knight lol. It was cool to see that show of respect from la knight though. The fact that cena knows many consider him one of the greatest of all time but would prefer to raise the hand of those he is in the ring with rather than have his own raised. Is really cool.

    First off john has been in the business for a whike he has been heel and face so he knows how to work a character and second he knew that ĹA Knight had to play his part that is why john was okay with it backstage either hasnt been in the ring or hasn't been in a while so they dont know what is going on so hats off to them both

    La knight could go like this - win a US or INT title, then after he drops it heel turn- similar to how rocky is a heel( full of himself) , can win first championship as a heel - later face turn would then be epic after he drops the main belt and comes back as a face to win again
