And he was practically the first “superhero baby face” I’ve seen. Austin x Rock got the Attitude Era 🔥 with their chemistry in the ring, their rivalry, and many of the wrestlers today would have those two as a big influence to this day. Cena is heading there now for what he did for the ruthless aggression era as well as the 2010s.

Plus with the Rock having an actual match and John and Taker showing up a great performance in the two women championship matches I feel like your take is clouded by nostalgia. 17 is great but remember in the main event the Austin heel turn which quite frankly wasn’t that good
