What a fkn race!!! Back n forth between two legends of the classiv Gt games These cars were the begining of a fascination from car fans and gaming fans combined. From the first consoles which sparked a gaming revolution we had consoles before this, but they never really became somebody’s primary hobby in their life.
I have been playing GT2 since it came out. I play it through about once a year to this day. I have never been one to look up guides, or wheelie tunes or whatever, but here is my opinion: The GT-One and Escudo are my favorite ultra-performance cars in the game. The Escudo is technically a faster car but it is FAR easier to be consistent with the GT-One. I think Polyphony did a great job making the Escudo feel like a rollerskate that is way overpowered and barely hanging on to the speeds it (shouldn't be) capable of. Friendly reminder for the US peeps: an Escudo is a 4-door Geo Tracker. Unthinkable to bring one to nearly 300mph.
It feels like the driver is more used to handling GT-One: fewer mistakes were made during the race. Yet Escudo feels like a faster car at the same time.
Omggg I can't believe gt one won I thought It would be easy for escudo, Suzuki reminds of a child that has full energy but makes mistakes and Toyota an elder That he maybe wore down from his powers but has experience
Escudo cant turn, might wanna neg front toe zero back then set the final gear better it will blitz the gt one. Unless the gt one has the same design set up lol but the escudo has more breath due to more hp

the funniest part is that the cars dont even look stretched out. it looks like true widescreen and you can't get true widescreen in GT2 on original hardware. this was clearly recorded on an emulator at native resolution with a filter applied overtop to look like it's been captured with an analog connection.

GT2 overdid it a bit with most cars though. With GT3 onwards they scaled that sound down again for all cars.

Great race! GT One driver never gave up despite being slower and having less power. Far better driver in the GT One.

If ur on ps1 or p2 load game from start menu and go to 2 player mode and choose home garage or guest garage
