- This 11th Gen Civic has been a fun car to drive and is about to get a whole lot more fun with the brand new K20C built by 4piston Racing capable of well over 1000 hp on high boost and able to handle it without a problem. We currently have installed all the current PRL upgrades. Car currently makes just over 300 whp on E30. We had Litespeed out of California build a set of custom forged magnesium wheels coming in at 14.2 lbs. then topping them off with some TI lug nuts to cut as much reciprocating weight as possible. Set of track Perelli Trofeo. With current power and the sticky tires called for a stage 3 Clutch Master clutch and ultra light fly wheel. To stop the car we got hooked with Paragon and they built the ultimate big brake kit and it stops like nobody’s business! Stay tune for the motor swap roll cage and a set of Recaro podium seats. forgot to mention our in house built custom 3” polish stainless exhaust that sounds amazing and performs to back it up.💪
Very nice. I have a stock 22 civic and I can't imagine having 1000+ HP. I usually drive ECO mode so when I put it in Normal, I'm like "Woah!"

I put it in Sport everytime I get in the car, too fucking slow for me if it’s not. Idk how yall do it. I’d rather pay a couple more dollars in gas than get to my destination in 3 hours

1000 hp on a civic platform is crazy I think it won’t last long at that boost better to keep it at 600 max will still beat most things on the road

I have the all motor K20C2 engine and I was planning a 190hp daily build out of it. Can't wait to see what you have in store for this thing!
They make a street 300HP 2.4L NA that I would love to put in a 11th gen Si some day.
@@sn4rl277 I am very interested in that NA, I bought the sport na model a few months back after coming down from a staged gti and I miss the power. 300 hp sounds perfect for this car in na form. Just not sure how the cvt would take it. Yikes 10k!
@@marcinhernik1270 4 Piston racing, out of Indiana. Check them out for sure if you are looking for good built Honda engines. They have a K20C that does 1200 HP on 60 psi of boost, crazy.
For the peopel saying that 300 go is not reliable on this plat form I suggest you do your research and maybe just learn how to do things the right way, there’s motors are capable of 350 hp reliably, for those talking about ososick nicks si, he had big prototype turbo with nitrous and custome tune, I think u can see why his motor blew.
So it blew because the damage was already done ? Because he said he put the stock turbo back on and was 270hp and the dude blew it while warming up before hitting the time attack
Sure the car is capable of power but it’s not reasonable to expect the car to hold up under load with stock internals. It’s a small motor and the stock rods and pistons can only hold so much before they will go. Expectations have to be reasonable. If you want to turn the car into a drag racer and get as much power as possible, you need to have strong internals. So far no one has come out with anything that fits the L15CA yet.
@@UnrelatedNonsense I think you should do more looking into the plat form, don’t get me coming across in a rude way but I’ve talked with abunch of guys and they will tell u anything under 350 stock internals is reliable, Honda actually tested the lb15 at 300 horse power at factory if you did not know, but the engine is very tiny and I agree doesn’t have the strongest pistons or rods but that should go with out say this car is for 300-350 nothing more then your looking at built engine, 27 won is the perfect example to look at, their 10th gen si is at 400 reliably, yea they have a aftermarket turbo but still you can see the potential the car has that people like to push away.
@@Jester-yw7dg People will say anything to justify their purchase. If they aren’t actually running that much power then you can’t believe a word they say. It’s called managing your expectations you can’t just tune a motor to hell without supporting mods. That goes for any motor. People who are running high horsepower K series, or 2jz or any other popular platform are not doing so with stock internals. I personally don’t see the point in tuning the Si as much a possible because if you want it to be a drag car, then there are much better options.
@@UnrelatedNonsense it’s a a touge car not a drag car, like I just said in my last comment, anything under 350 is reliable, and that’s plenty fast on the track it weighs less than 3k pounds, power to weight, with coil overs and that much power this car can beat many cars you wouldn’t possibly think it can beat on the track, it’s a good platform to start a build and I think you should do more research into something you don’t have.

Can we get a update on this car. I am a 20 year Honda owner and current owner of a K20C (10th Gen Accord). I would love to do a 4 Piston Racing engine in a 11th Gen civic, and this maybe the first I have heard of that has a built K20C in it.

300hp that’s a time bomb, looking and sound good
The torque is the killer for rods, a good tune with low torque making 300 hp is reliable just have to find a great tuner.

The 1.5 turbo motor is pretty capable. I good air intake a tune and flow cat and exhaust it they will run pretty darn good

Hondata / Ktuner, and some bolt ons. Can’t go too hard though, the CVT can and WILL blow up.

Litespeedracing.com. They are out of California and build to order. They are crazy light. 14.2 lbs. as for the exhaust we built it in house. As for daily on the wheels I would tell you that’s not a problem. I daily mine.👍

All I want in my 22 si is that 300 wheel mark. I have a high hp gtr to handle my other needs so that’s covered. Just need to know what what used to achieve 300 wheel for it. Thanks 😊

Have you started the K swap? Did you change the motor mounts or get custom motor mounts?
Curious, did you have to roll the fenders to get the wheels to fit without rubbing?
They actually don’t rub it all. I was super surprised. I did not roll the fenders
i blew a head gasket at 9k miles on mine waited 2 months for honda to fix it under warranty 100% my fault im sure im pretty hard on cars so i took the flex kit off and now i have to run a hondata baby tune because at high rpm it will cut all boost for any tune more aggressive than this one its still relatively quick but i sure wish i could run a hotter tune 😤 i think its the bypass valve and of course they dont sell that 😑
Should have done head studs before E30, known issue that could have been avoided

Could i make or would it be safer for daily to go 280 hp and and about 235 torq ???
I ran all high end parts and tuned it on pump gas and it was super reliable had the torque come in later to make it safer.

Ososik or Nick’s car made about 336 and had a larger turbo. The rods can’t take a lot of load down low so you have to bring the power in higher in the RPM’s. Then this does not put as much load on the rods. The car has every bolt on part on the market and we built a couple things ourselves.

They made too much torque to early in their stage 1 tune. The damage was already done by the time the big turbo moved the power curve back.

I have done every part PRL makes. I have done some other stuff as well. My car goes up for sale this weekend. I put almost $29k just in upgrades on the car not including a big motor I built for the car.

@@Dashongo no we sold it because we knew we would need to spend at least another $30k to swap the motor and make it all wheel drive so it could hook up. So we decided to start with a all wheel drive car on our new build.

My stock motor made 298 to the tires before I got rid of it. The motor I had built for the car made over a 1000

The motor in the car does not correct. The motor in the crate makes more then 1000 hp. But I sold the car and the motor separately.

@@bryant1815 I have decided because we are so busy at our shop and not fair to our customers to be spending time on projects like this that I’m selling the car and also the motor. As much as I want to I just know that my focus is better spent developing products in the business field we are in and help to get caught up on production. I have had a couple people reach out and I know that I’m let’s some down that wanted to see this through.
