One thing I will add on is this stock turbo is definitely an improvement over the last gen. It doesn’t fall in the higher RPMS like the 10th gen does.
Happy holidays everyone
Stay safe

My 10th gen dyno tuned doesn’t fall up top at all. I think the shelf tunes aren’t made to go all out
@@yoltsbp you may be right but considering his is an OTS tune as well, it still definitely better than the 10th lol
i need a "yeah" counter for this dude lmaooo
Yeah.
Yeah
Yeah.
I’ve had my 22 SI since December, the handling is phenomenal.
Stoppppp. Your making want to get one. How does it handle bumps. I work in houston medical center and roads are fucd
@@sschevmale24 I’ve driven mine around Houston. Not too bad on bumpy spots around town but on highways that aren’t super smooth and have uneven spots it can get annoying
@Yahmuddacapiche I hate you lol. Congrats on car. I might SI for daily. My 6.2 silverado mpg stinks
this was the first car i bought myself. Grinded really hard and had more money than expected so i felt like splurging, not bad for 19 yrs old. bragging aside this car is phenomenal. got me into car culture and i was in love the second i set eyes on it. Everything from Handling, to comfort to just the look itself is just CLASS.
Congrats dude . That’s good !
SAME dude, first car that i bought myself at 25.. used to drive family toyota yaris and moved to this feels ALOT Faster.. and also classier..
Cabin noise is the last thing I want from an exhaust. I drove over a year in my R with the AWE Touring Exhaust and PRL Downpipe. The drone was horrendous. Couldn't take it anymore. The AWE Duel phase midpipe was the best mod I've put on this car out of many many parts. Life Changing
You put a jpipe for the drone right?
@@LynnDisclose I think a J pipe is thr downpipe of the Turbo is behind the engine. The midpipe I installed is after the front pipe and before the pipe connecting the exhaust tips. Pretty much duel resonators
@@thinkforyourself5672 I see most people that have drone get the jpipe like welded on to the exhaust and it totally eliminates drone , and give more power because of air flow. But those Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Nissan gets, basically those over $100,000 sport cars have jpipes built in them already
@@thinkforyourself5672 I got a 3inch front pipe I want to put on but thinking about getting a jpipe added to escape a droning sound
I don’t want drone, I want it to scream in high revs and be quietish in lows
Damn the new SI looks good af and stock wheels too
I always say, if youre adding boost, upgrade your clutch first, then intercooler, THEN your tune! I love my tsp one+ on my 10th. Prl intercooler and fk8 clutch!
Damn, I am glad that Reuben gave you a ride in his 11th Si on road and it sounds so good from Remark exhaust plus TSP tune is awesome map set up for this Si. PRL sounds good too! How is MPG affect with those performance, just curious! Integra is pretty nice but can’t wait to see Type S! 😁👍
I have the same mods. On Ca gas i get about 40hw at best 28city at best but usually abit lower on both. I think its cuz im always in sport mode and tuned
@@chorizojuice Oh really, that's good, 👍
@@georgegomez7173 its good but from reading it seems some get better than i do. Overall still great mileage
@@chorizojuice 😁👍
for years i didnt like what hondas looked like from 05 all the way to the 10th gen civic, this 11th gen is a tribute to the classic honda design where they started at its definitely alot cleaner than the over the top 10th gen, has more fake vents than a kit car xD
Hell yeah!! Great video brotha loved the content!
one thing i like about the 11th gen is that when you downshift it will rev match for you, other than that its a pretty good upgrade tech wise from the 10th gen, i sure would love a volume knob in my Si, i also heard the 11th gen uses a twinscroll turbo but cant find anything on it
Yes lol
In terms or driving experience and daily the 11th gen civic si is overall the “better” car
Looks aside, anything with the right supporting / cosmetic mods will look good to different people
You can disable rev match in the settings.
What site did your friend buy his red emblems
My 10th gen coupe was totaled got a new 2024 SI both of them are great cars.
I was expecting to see a strut brace. Is this something just not needed or planning on installing one? This was fun. I enjoyed the ride.
Where did you get you red Honda emblems. They look good.
Reminds me of the old civics with so much space to work on. Dope haha
I absolutely love my 9th gen Si but man I really want to get my hands on an 11th gen Si and to have both my 9th gen and an 11th gen
SI are sick to drive. Anything with lsd anf manual is just a blast to drive. Just wish it was rwd
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah , yeah
Ruben looks like Pedro from napoleon dynamite 😅.
I keep saying it, but the Type R should have been in this body style. It reminds me of a sleeker FD2.
Im on the 3rd map(25psi). You dont hit 25 until 4th gear so i dont have any slip up until that point and most of the time i dont get any unless i floor it in that gear. Its a big difference and especially with 1.5 gallon of ethonal its much smoother and weirdly i got better mpg.
I noticed that with map 3, I have to leave it in normal. That 4th-6th gear slip typically occurs around 4000-5000 and it’s right after you tip into the throttle. Sport mode has an artificially sharp throttle map which causes the turbos to spoil super fast-also in part to map 3’s spoiling characteristics-and these cars make most of their torque in the midrange, so if you roll into the throttle SLOWLY for the first half-second at 4000, you’ll see boost spike then settle, then you’re clear to roll into WOT, no slip.
That thing is sweet!
i have a problem im trying to work out.
at high rpm it will cut all boost and most of the time throw a cel p0046 on tunes with more than 25ish PSI
i think its the bypass valve but i cant seem to find one and the turbo is different on the 11th gen?
How much do they typically charge for a tune on the new Civic Si?
Hi, just wondering, is the indicator light (orange) a cover? that is just plug and play?
Was a clutch swap needed to handle the additional power?
Clutch job is always recommended on these platforms but not required at first
The burble sound is that from the tune? Or is that from the exhaust?
Exhaust
Tony my 10th gen still stock lol I’m too scared lol to tune a dam light aha 😭
Can you ask were an what size are the red front an back emblems an were he get them?
Does a 3inch front pipe with stock downpipe make a loud cabin ? I know a 3inch downpipe Is loud Drone
Did you tune the car yourself? Or would you recommend taking the car to a tuner? I know the TSP stage one is given when purchasing the ktuner v2 but I want to know if you downloaded the software onto the car yourself or not. Cheers
The tunes from TSP and Phearable you can do it yourself. So long as you have a windows (laptop) recommend.
Might have to sell my 8th gen , I love her, Intake , TB , exhaust , FP, she just pulls and pulls redline 8k , but damn I’m craving something new , the 11th gen looks so clean man
Don’t sell the 8th
It’s a great car lol
Keep it as a build on the side and use the 11th as a daily
@@TdaKid Ug wish I could do both man , would just help with payments on the new car if I did buy it , can barley find a 11th gen in NY as is it
Saw your profile picture and nice to see you got the 11th gen, congrats!
@@AlxRayn yes sir ! Was time haha needed something new , it’s a great car , going to do an exhaust and chill with it
@@mikeyrov5230 one of the best sounding Si’s too, they pop easy with a simply exhaust
What power are you making numbers?
Have you tried the floor pedal feature?
What tuner does he have on it I have a 23 civic si
resonator delete ontop of muffler delete?
Did he tune it himself?
Any risk in blowing up your engine? I heard these engines are fragile. Id love to make 230 to the wheels with basic upgrades and a good tune that doesn’t exert my motor at all and safe for daily.
Engine will hold up to 400hp. Engine will make 240hp with a tune and no other mods. You will be fine.
Did you notice any drone from the remark exhaust?
No because it was still on stock Downpipe
Getting emissions and rev match warnings after installing TSP Stage 1 tune. I disabled the secondary O2 sensor (I think)
Any ideas please Thx
Which exhaust you guys would think sounds better. 27won or remark. Love the burble sound
They all sound so similar since it’s a 1.5 lol
At that point you can’t go wrong with either or
@@TdaKid okay because I’m scared that the 27won don’t sound as good as the remark do on that car. This vid make me switch from hondata to ktuner 🤣
I would love if you just tell me which one to choose. Remark or 27won?
@@jalani2505 i have a 2022 si as well and i would go with the remark since i think they kept the loops and the 27won didnt
@@Skater1234282 okay another question. Ktuner or hondata? And do you think I’ll get the burbles if I do go with 27won exhaust?
Did he just say cold brew intake ?
“There you go bubba” lmao said the same shit to my son 15 mins ago
Papa
I hate the screens that stick up
I own the 11th si, my first ever new car. I always had used Honda before like the 7th gen accord and 2nd gen crvs. I think these new cars are not built as the old Hondas. For example I owned the si for a year with only 3.2 k miles so far, the ride quality is too stiff, I had rats eat out my wires in the engine because Honda uses soy based wiring and the cabin noise is awful. Compared to my daily driver 06 crv is very smooth in the cabin with almost 200k miles original engine & tranny. Same goes for my 05 accord very smooth for an old car. The new Hondas I think ever since they made everything turbo is just awful and I worry about long term reliability
Wow really
Cant compare a sporty car to anything else. The ride is usually stiff. Its a given that a turboed engine will not be as reliable as a NA but if thats a concern then dont buy one.
The ride “quality” isn’t too stiff. The suspension is more stiff because it’s a sporty car. Your accord and CRV had soft suspensions which road like boats. You’re just not used to sporty cars…
It sucks that car doesnt work here where it snows a lot , im lookimg at the wrx instead
I know ppl that live in Wisconsin and other places where it snows hard and say it’s fine with theirs RWD and FWD. Just some winter tire set ups and drive careful.
AWD will be superior in snow but just my 2 cents
Huh? This car is great in the snow brotha. I daily mine in Canada in all sorts of crazy weather conditions.
Even on the stock all seasons it does very well. Keeps up with AWD vehicles easily. Once the snow is above 8 Inches deep, you'll definitely need some good snow tires and will have no issues at all.
Does he have an Ig?
Looking at a 2024 Honda civic Si, whether getting the Sonic Gray pearl with only 10 miles on it, or the white pearl with 8k miles on it. Any suggestions? Thanks
it’s more of preference of color at that point. If you are not going to to “mod” the car, get one with the better warranty.
My remark on My 10thgen is nice
Hy man i have honda civic touring i got muffler and resonator delete but its not giving any crackles and pops what should i do
Honestly sell it. No hate I own a Touring, switching to the SI now. The Civic Touring simply a luxury car not meant to handle power or basically not worth throwing money in it, nearly impossible to make it sound like a manual car with burbles/crackles.
needs a short shifter
What kind of spring does bro have ?
@@aresyunty8624 d2
I need an exhaust but atm they are sold out
Buy on backorder. Itll save u a spot. Supposedly they sale out quick so u gotta keep checking
Did u say they have retrofitted the 10th gen intercooler into the new si?
Yes
Some intercoolers don’t aline perfectly depending on company but it all fits. Downpipes, intercooler kits and the PRL Cobra Intake
Soon as the 11th gen came out a company Axion Industy (I think) gave it the FBO treatment with PPG gears and ARP Head studs right away lol
@@TdaKid thats good news. I dont wana drop 700 on one when the 10th has many more options and some way cheaper
Can you include a mod list?
We mention it in the video
Intake, exhaust , tune and d2 springs
That’s it lol
So the stock clutch is good enough for these mods?
@@nirajlama2416 no lol
It’s eventually going to go
Same like the 10th
Pherable>
i have a question... i heard si is slow now they dont have real vtec.. is it true? no more high revving
Si’s have never been fast stock lol
But 11th gen are faster than the 8th si and 9th gen si and 10th gen si stock for stock
@@TdaKid Ive heard constantly that the 11th gen Civic si was slower and not as strong as the 10th gen
@@LynnDisclose the 10 is quicker down low but the 11 will pull ahead up top. Too early to tell if its not built as strong. There have been plenty of blown 10th gen motors too
@@chorizojuice I know I saw a race channel they were tracking a 11th gen type r and a 11thgen si , the 11thgen had a flex fuel kit e85 with tune. On the track doing the pull when the guy pushed it , the motor blew. They had to get it towed. The Chinese guy said the 11thgen si appears weaker. He said he got a 10thgen si modified but didn't blow
@@LynnDisclose That si was abused for awhile. They pushed its limits with nos and bigger turbo at one point. Even then i read that motor made it to around 20k miles.
sick video! i actually have a ‘22 FE1 as well! i’m running hondata on a 250 lb ft of tourque base tune. i also have other mods as well with a retro fit! i’m based in LA, lmk if u wanna check it out!

Is this literally the same as a 10th gen but it looks different….?
Could anyone link a forum or any videos to learn about tunning? I’m on the edge of tunning my 11th gen but don’t want any long term issues and voiding warranty.
If you don’t want to void warranty don’t tune lol
Simple as that
Not every dealership will commit to warranties if they find out we messed with the ECU or if they can prove _______ part was the reason for _____ part to fail.
@@TdaKid right exactly lol, i knew I would void if I tuned. Definitely not out of the picture for me down the line, since it’s 3 years or 30k miles. Just want to get some more info, do you drive anything tuned ?
I'd recommend doing some googling to learn the basics and then find a reputable tuning shop to walk you through the options if you're interesting. That said, the 1.5L engine can only do so much so don't expect a huge difference.
Does dude have a RUclips?? Or an insta?

Don’t rest your hand on the shifter
U guys are so repetitive. This aint no 2000s car my guy
Realistically, it shouldn’t really do any damage especially in a modern vehicle. If you’re going full gorilla mode yeah it isn’t great for the shifter, but we build cars better than that nowadays. The only thing I’d worry about is accidentally rubbing gears together but that shouldn’t happen normally.
Does anyone know if the clutches in these 11th gens any better then the 10th ???
It’s the same
Good 👍 ass 👍 job Braddah.
Tune it, bye bye warranty! . No exceptions!
Cars are so annoying anymore, people actually go out of their way to buy an underwhelming car like this, just to put a tune on it and void the warranty and still make less power than majority of new cars out there...like ur not cool dude
