Great content and very interesting channel!
Thank you about the sulfur mentioned in the vid.
I have never heard any RUclipsr say it for their tropical fruit trees.
My orange trees and other trees suffer from clorosis.
The glay soil and water here are too alkaline.
I just started a fruit forest in Portugal. 😂

Hello, thank you for watching and commenting! I appreciate the kind words. Yes, here in the Phoenix area we have very alkaline soil so we have to provide agricultural sulfur to lower the PH so the trees can take up those nutrients. I'm sorry to hear that your orange trees are suffering from clorosis, it could be your trees not being able to access the nutrients provided since your soil and water are alkaline there too. That is awesome that you started a fruit forest in Portugal! The planning and planting at the beginning is a fun and sometimes stressful time.

Happy to see your trees doing well! I live in the northern part of Glendale and I have about a 3-year-old Fuerte avocado. It didn't do very much for the first couple years and it had a long floppy central leader. I finally just cut that off this last spring and the tree took off. I think it was spending all his energy trying to support that one part of the tree. One of the other branches ended up going very vertical and seems to be the new central leader. Whenever it takes make the tree happy right?

Hello, thank you for watching and commenting! That is great information to hear. I have been debating whether to cut off the central leader or not just because of how floppy it is. I may consider doing it now that I've heard your experience. It is definitely all about whatever makes the tree happy!

Hello, Is there a possibility that my husband and I could visit your garden?
We are trying to start our tropical garden, and we would love to have an opportunity to visit Green Yard.
    Thank you,

Hello, thank you for watching and commenting! I have had this request asked before and at this time I am not doing any tours of The Green Yard. I am looking into it though and will have an update spring of 2024. Just look out for that update so you hopefully come and see The Green Yard!
