There are some unique lines for Dismas when he's searching for Reynauld: Founds the unique reliquary: "Oh, here we go again..." Asking about Reynauld: "I'm looking for my friend-big guy, armor. Seen him?" Founds Caged Knight: "Hold on, my friend, I'm coming." (Escapes? Don't know how to activate it) Fails: "Damn them! We were so close!" Saves Reynauld: "...been a while. Sight for sore eyes." Also, there are some achievements that require you to finish the final chapter with these two/having good relationships.

yeah. i've heard that DD2 is easier and more accessible (token system vs DD1's cluttered ui, for example) for newer players, but if you can stand being in Numbers Hell then DD1 is worth at least contemplating. i am LOVING DD1 so far & i'm an idiot, so
DD2 is a vast improvement to the DD system. I 100%ed the first one and i have to say DD2 is much fairer and just plain old more fun. the first is a bit of a slog
@@fionnodubhuir1686I quite like the city building and grind of the first game, it’s slow, but the progress is meaningful. Both games are great, but I do prefer the second one, if only for the story shrines and new character models.

How do you see those lines? I got the DLC recently, bringing Dismas along but I didn’t see him speaking a thing.

The music and art for this game is phenomenal. The character models especially look really good. It rivals the 1st game imo.
It is better in most ways, except maybe lore and world building.
