Darkest Dungeon II is a role-playing video game developed and published by Red Hook Studios. As the sequel to Darkest Dungeon (2016), the game was released in early access for Microsoft Windows in October 2021. The full version of the game is set to be released in February 2023.
Like its predecessor, Darkest Dungeon II is a role-playing video game with roguelike elements.[1] The game features multiple characters, and each of them has their own unique strengths and abilities. Players can equip these characters with trinkets and combat items.[2] The player can commandeer the stagecoach, which is the primary way of navigating the game's world. The ultimate goal is to reach a mountain, which is the source of evil that has overtaken the world. As the player explores, they will encounter different locations of interest and roadblocks, and the player will enter combat scenarios. Combat in the game is turn-based, and the heroes must be positioned properly as some of their skills cannot be used when they are standing in a wrong spot. As the player explores the world, they can also visit Shrines of Reflection, where players can learn more about the backstories of the game's characters.
I love how in these videos you can see the purest example of a darkest dungeon players mind as its descends into insanity.

Death blow resist is a myth when you need it, but when you need one of your heroes to die so you can restart suddenly it can survive 10 DBR checks in a row.
That how it works in life. When you give up on what you want you manifest it.

Somtimes:
A character refuses to die after being at death's door for 20 hits
Other times:
Every character had a 80%+ Death resist
And all died on the first hit at death's door
I have not been this happy and laughed this much in a long time. I love the content dude, keep going!

I don't know who the heck though it could be awesome to put the death's door resist mechanic on enemies and big boys but deserves a beer for creating a nice meme and the worst of hell for doing it.
You can avoid it on specific enemies if they are a specific type and your dude got the "slayer of [insert enemy type here]" quirk
