Regarding the power switch (or lack there of)… I have my ATEM Mini Pro + video lights + audio interface + camera dummy battery plugged into a power strip which I have on a remote control. You should use a USB-C SSD for ISO recordings, thumb drives may not be fast enough. At full resolution, the ATEM will record 5x 70mbit/sec videos (plus some extra for audio), so that'd be about 350mbit/sec, which is about ~50 megabytes per second. So some thumb drives might be fast enough but they often aren't rated for that much speed for a long period of time.
what would you advise to keep a stream from crashing? i have atem mini pro and output directly to youtube. i usually use medium or high quality output and “normal” latency in the youtube settings. but i still get problems where it says I’m not sending enough data or it will crash outright.

Can you connect a drone to the Atem?
If you have a drone controller with HDMI out you can connect that to the ATEM. The DJI Mini 3 with the DJI RC Pro Controller can do it for example
