Thank you thank you thank you! I saved the crib that we used for our kids knowing one day we would want to use it for our grandkids. Assembly was today and this video allowed us to finish the install. I hope your little one is is now a wonderful young teen! PS the cat's cameo appearance was the icing on the cake :)

Got a model similar to this with all the hardware secondhand. No instructions or model number. Thanks to a time or two through this video I was able to assemble easily. Even though there's a ban on drop-down cribs since yesterday.. when did I buy this .. yesterday! get that? crazy... but I feel safe and secure now! thanks!
@rich895 Ours is pretty solid. There is some rocking with vigorous shaking, but it has a sturdy feel to it. My son just turned 1 and still uses it every night and twice a day for hour naps. It has worked great for my family. However, my advice is, if you have a bad feeling about it, then don't use it. Trust your intuition. Best regards!
Here it is 2021 and my father in law just gave us my wife's crib for our baby coming in December. It's this exact crib and looks brand new still but I am CLUELESS on how to set it up! I really hope you see this comment and can help a homie out here! Thank you!

This was a hand-me-down from my aunt and uncle and after watching this same video, they confirmed I put it together correctly. It hasn't been used yet because our baby is still about two weeks away, but it feels very sturdy and stable put together this way. The manf is Child Craft. Hope this helps.

@yoyolalayaya I'm glad it helped you out. Our son has been sleeping in it since he was born back in March, and it's been working out great. Over the summer we moved and the crib was disassembled by the moving company so I had to use my own video to put it back together! HA!

Can you post closeup photos of the top and bottom of the side rods. I’ve been looking all over the house and can not find them. Do they just sit on the bottom bracket after going through the holes in the sides of the crib? And how are they finished at the top? I was wondering if I cold have them made.

I got this crib or a similar one from a friend who owns a day care. The crib was donated to him w/out instructions. I got most of it figured out however...theres these bolt/screws that just dont look right, they r only one the one side, they are very long and brown and they have these wierd nuts too and I cant figure out where these could possably go. If ur not sure then I'm giving up and calling my friend back and telling him it's no good. Thanx, Melissa
Well, this is interesting. I have a crib we bought 31 years ago for my kids and now my oldest has his own daughter. I kept the crib which is very similar to yours in the video except the spindles are round and there is no latch or hook on the sides. I kept all the parts and forgot how to hook up the springs! I saw your video and had an Ah-ha moment! I think your right how u got it. Wouldn't you know that after all these years, I am missing one flippin bolt?! It is going against the wall so I have a plan B! Thanks!
Thanks for the video. We got this crib as a hand's down without manual. After assembling the crib, I still see crib wobbles/moves when I shake them. Is this normal with this model. I thought it should be stable. Couldn't compare as shops don't sell drop sides anymore. Those model cribs in store (without dropside) are very stable even when I shake. Pls let me know. Thanks

Anyone knows the type of screws that go with this Child craft crib. I lost the screws and cannot find the right size at Lowe's.
