I remember that engine that was my first big block I put in the revo... Good all around engine it lasted me a long time... Good all around engine ..can't wait to see this thing fly
That is a nice looking Revo with the carbon chassis. Really cool to have the custom part made for it as well 😎 You can here it hit that 2 speed baby!!!
@TastyBRC If I want to keep a rear exhaust, would the stock pipe work? What would you do if you wanted to keep a rear exhaust? I really appreciate this video (and education!) and have watched it a number of times since you released it!
Thank you 🙏 This engine is designed to be installed with the stock rear exhaust, you can install the tmaxx or revo exhaust, no modds required. The side exhaust requires the custom adapter.
@TastyBRC Thank you SO much for your reply! I really appreciate it! I do like how you decided to do your exhaust. It looks like it belongs there. The adapter to run the larger standard/big block header... I would like to do that. Are you open to people contacting you outside of RUclips? If so... Do you have a place on Facebook or somewhere else where it would be okay to message you? If not, I totally understand!!! 😊 Thank you, @TastyBRC!!!
My Revo easily wheelies, all stock drive line, with O.S. .18TM. I would expect that Revo to be uncontrollable with a .28 mid block engine, the low end power with that engine seems quite weak. A bad one-way bearing can also rob tons of low end power.
In this video the revo has a center diff!! No wheelies possible with a center diff, sounds like a loose slipper.. check this one out --> ruclips.net/video/qUYej3ofonI/видео.html Easy wheelies on grass or onroad but far from being uncontrollable, i agree. Now if you ask my opinion OS18TM vs Force 28.... I love the force but I would choose the OS without hesitation!!!!
@@markalan4026 The stock transmission doesnt come with a center diff, the center diff is an option TRX5414, you will never break a front or rear diff if you install the center diff, even with a .32, i tried 😁, it will also make your spur gear last much longer!!! your car is much more reliable but much less fun to drive... 🙁 it sticks the wheels to the ground
Hello, which glow plugs do you recommend for the engine? Is the Partcore Force 28 and the Partcore Force 28 Maxx actually the same? Except for the engine mounts and the manifold outlet? So the same channels, etc. all the same?
I use lrp N°5 regular glow plugs but you will need to add an extra washer, these engines require short glow plugs. F28 and F28 Maxx share the same piston, sleeve (same excat size and ports), connecting rod, burn room, back plate, pullstart and cooling head. Different carb (smaller), Block (smaller) cranckshaft smaller too, as the block is smaller you will need a specific engine mount for the revo or the max and the traxxas style manifold
@@TastyBRC Do you notice the big difference between the 28 and the maxx 28? Does the larger carburettor from the maxx 28 also fit on the normal force 28 from partcore?
@@l0wrider692 Cant really say as the F28 maxx is in the revo, a much lighter truck than the savage (with the force 28) and you can not install the f28maxx in another truck than a revo or a maxx. Logically if you drag race 2 revos, one with the f28 the other with the f28 maxx, the one with the big block will perform better as everything around the sleeve is bigger. Regular carb wont fit.

The internal parts of the engine look decent for the price. Much clearer than standard LRP's I've seen on other channels
