Nice review of an amazing machine. I love my Infiniti Q50 3.7 premium rwd, but I wish I knew more about the Hybrid Sport before I bought mine used. I was studying and looking at 2012-13 G37 sedans when I came across a bunch of 2014-15 Q50 3.7 models that were in my $23k or under price range. I test dove a fully loaded sport model with the adaptive steering and hated the way it felt not knowing that I could have adjusted the settings lol. Like I said, I didn't think I'd even be able to afford one, so I didn't read up on it. So then we found a black on black 2014 Q50 3.7 premium rwd with navigation that had the standard steering. I test drove it and loved it. I got them down to $21k and it had 37k miles on it. Before this gets too long... I could have bought a fully loaded Hybrid Sport for $23k after negotiations because they had one for $24 and change with 39k miles. I mainly drive locally around town and my city gas mileage is in the mid teens. That, plus the hybrid had every option except awd, and it is even quicker than the 3.7. I just wish I would have went home and watched some videos and read about the Q50 before making an on the spot decision and buying it right there. I'm very happy with my car at least, but I wish it had the sport and tech packages. Oh well. Thanks for making the video.
I bought one of these ~1-2yo. LOVE IT. Have the Hybrid sport AWD with Tech and NAV packages, I get about 23.4-26.1 MPG daily driving ~30 miles. FYI--If the driver is out of the car it will not cut to electric operation. This is a safety feature for the push to start to make sure you know the car is running. The car also has a 17 gallon tank, not 15.
Peanut good question, I think it does. There's a half circle arrow on the keys which is the remote start. Wish my g37 came with it but I got a good aftermarket one for $200 at best buy so it's not really a deal breaker if it's not standard imo
If you were to sell the IS, would you get a Q50 of a TLX? If you were to choose the Q50, would you choose the gas only or the hybrid (both are available with AWD)? If you were to choose the TLX, would you choose the four cylinder, V6 or V6 SH-AWD?
+FanaticGuide's Video Game LP's and more... I can't really answer that question as I'm not in the market, and don't have that kind of money to spend! Though I have no reason to leave Lexus
+FanaticGuide's Video Game LP's and more... I looked at both and chose the TLX. The Q50 does have more power though, but i felt the TLX offered more features for the money. I chose the TLX with SH-AWD with the Tech Package.
Joshua102888 Don't be surprised if you park on a steep incline and your car's rear end is beat up from hitting a whole ton of cars going down hill, because TLXs with the 9 speed transmission have had a recall on that. It just so happens that SH-AWD is only available on the V6 TLXs that come exclusively with the 9 speed.
+FanaticGuide's Video Game LP's and more... Yeah that issue has been dealt with with a software update. With all my cars if I ever find myself parking on a steep hill i turn the wheel so it hits the curb and i always engage the parking break.
Joshua102888 Okay. That sounds like a good plan so if it were to happen again it will hot a whole ton of buildings and you'd get sued for the damage. At least it was dealt with. I think every TLX with the 9 speed produced now shouldn't have that issue.
I love those. I test drove the non hybrid and loved it. I love everything about the 3.7 v6. The only reason I would not buy it is that it is not a Honda. But otherwise, nice!
+thecarexpert21 If I had to guess, considering when this video was made, and the mileage on the car, this was bought used from another dealer who apparently didn't know how to special Infiniti. But rest assured this car was unlikely bought from a Infiniti dealer.

Good video man! Awesome car. I've never paid much attention to Infiniti, but this is pretty sweet!
I love these things so much
Actually the Low/High Beam on these is LED too!
I wonder if the stillen, or any other for that matter, supercharger fit in these? I think that would be such a good setup.
If not for Lexus i think Infiniti would be my luxury choice
Fantastic video!!! Test drive please!!!!
When are you going to do a vid on the new sienna
Great vid! I really want to trade my g37 in for this car. How's the transmission?
S-N Scorp yea I actually found one in the same color and everything. Might buy in July. Only concern is the space for the back seat and trunk.

im planning on getting a that car too. Any reliability issues on the hybrid battery for that car right now? and whats the milage on the car right now?
At last use, the car had no issues. It was traded in December 17 with just shy of 70,000 miles

Do a test drive
Make more videos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How in the hell does a dealership misspell their own brand? That bothers me so much more than it should!
I agree

Omg I had no idea Nissan made an Altima hybrid!!
They do if you were trying to make a joke
ThinkOutsideTheCube The Q50 is nothing like an Altima.. I don't know why you keeping saying that. This is a wonderful car. Coming from a F30 driver.
ThinkOutsideTheCube I
Altima is FWD?
Terrible choppy camera control. Buy a camera stabilizer.
