- Infiniti has been doing its best lately to confuse buyers, scrapping long-established model names like G37 and M35 to call every car it makes a Q model. But CNET's Brian Cooley explains why the Q50S Hybrid is worth remembering.

Thank you to Brian Cooly for being one of the most honest reviewers out there. All of these complaints about the steering system have been utter nonsense. Those who have test driven these cars have said something else. It seems like we can't open our minds up when it comes to technologies that change the way our cars drive, props to you for bringing this great feature to life and giving your honest opinion.
Easily the most underrated vehicle out there right now.
Love this car
I love the new Q50. Beautiful, and tons of technology in one package.
Love your reviews but would be nice to know what driving settings were selected while you were test driving.
Give this man a raise
B. Cool gives the best reviews
I always wonder why cars infotainment operating system is so laggy. I'm sure it's not hardware issues because we have a lot of computing power in processors and I'm sure manufacturers have access to them. Is it because they poorly construct the OS?
wow... first reviewer that likes this steering system. cooley just gave infinity a huge bump in sales...
you can sum the torque in this case, it's somewhere aroudn 549 NM. check the q50s brochure over at infiniti germany.
We need these cars more in belgium... All here is qashqai x trail and juke we need some infiniti or maxima
I tried the forward braking it’s very effective except I have to turn it on every time I start the car unless I’m missing something.
The whole InTouch controller is powered by Intel! Pretty cool!
love how the sun hit the grill @ 0:49

Some seem to think that Cooley is the only/first one to like this steering. Such is not the case. By sheer coincidence I watched today the review of the Q50 on Autoguide.com channel. That guy was happy with the digital steering as well. FYI .
But he didn't mention the lag on the throttle. A one-second-lag is simply unacceptable and even less so for a 'sport' model.
How is long term reliability with those?
muaythai193 hybrid systems are simple in reality , nissan has many hybrids and E-cars never heared of issues , gearbox-engine are bulletproof i have one bought on copart , 2014 q50s hybrid had 34miles
This is one looong review. ADD is tough.
+WuWei Xu Really?
Jayden Thompson Got anything better to do rather than stalking my year-old posts?
Don't answer that, it's rhetorical.
Belgoboy I know. Tell me how it goes for you.
+WuWei Xu its fine. We both have it it seems. Hugs
Belgoboy Speak for yourself, thanks. You'll get through it though!
Isn't the AWD faster ...the 0-60 times are mixed up...
Nope 4 wheel drives bog down
It's because AWD is heavier.
Too many options just to drive!
