I used to have my own band & also was a semi finalist 3 yrs. In a row at WWVA. I was proud to stand where Patsy & Tammy stood when I sang! One of my song choices was CRAZY ! I loved that song & the way she sang it! She was one of the best!
Julie seems to be such a sweet person. She's also endured a personal tragedy other than the loss of her mother. She lost a daughter in a car accident as well. So she's got three angels waiting for her when she gets to heaven...her mother...her grandmother and her daughter. And her father now, as well.
Julie has a nice voice wished she could said more. I loved patsy cline..her voice was just beautiful..she passed. Before i was born. But hearing. Her songs watching. The old videos made me go out and collect every thing she ever recorded. Even the box sets. I still think she had a one of a kind voice. And years from now people will still be talking about her. Wish i could of met her. Today listening. To her singing touches. Me. Thank you for posting and sharing.afa n.a.jj.
Julie-+ Do you sing also?? *" Your mother-is the MOST phenomenal singer I HAVE ever heard in my ENTIRE life & *"Patsy Cline's"* voice WILL live on FOREVER!!
One of the great tragedies in both popular and country music was the untimely death of Patsy Cline. Her voice and style was so unique and we remember with fondness the enormous talent that we lost far too soon.
The evening my parents met for the first time they danced to Patsy's "I Fall to Pieces". It of course became their song. I grew up in the 70's and 80's. I used to listen to Patsy on my record player all the time. I just fell in love with her lush contralto voice and yearned for more details about her life. Then Loretta Lynn's book "The Coalminer's Daughter" made its debut in 1976. I read and re-read the parts about Patsy. Soon thereafter the film version of TCD was in theaters. Eventually in 1985 the film Sweet Dreams came out. Today one can just hop on the Internet and find out all kinds of information about most anything. I also moved across the country and by chance, for a time lived very near Patsy's hometown! Life takes crazy twists and turns. I lost my mum at a young age just like Julie and Randy. It's a loss I don't wish on any young person. There is no replacement for a mother's love. Just want to wish all the best for Miss Julie and Randy Dick.
Patsy Cline was a legend in her time (When ifirst heard Crazy hairs stood up on the back of my neck ( I was blown away on hearing ( She's got you) RIP Patsy
The Patsy Cline crash sight is really in need of an upgrade, It's really deteriorate over the years. Patsy deserves the best. Thank you for keeping her legacy alive...
I auditioned for The Voice 4 years ago, & I made 3 friends there. One of my friends sang her mom’s iconic song, Crazy at the audition. Nobody in our audition group made it to the next round of the auditions, but my friend did a great job singing that song. I’m working on memorizing Crazy, do I can not only post on another friend’s Facebook timeline, but also, post on my You Tube channel. I hope that when I take a tour around the Grand Ole Opry, I’ll sing on that stage, like her mom did. RIP to her beautiful mother 😪🙏
I thought he looked like Randy Hughes,Patsy's last manager. Julie (when she was younger) looks like Marie Flynt, a friend of Patsy's. I think neither look like Patsy, who bore a striking resemblance to Mary Reeves, widow of Jim Reeves.
JULIE EVEN THOUGH YOUR MOTHER IS GONE. HOWEVER her VOICE STILL LIVES. PS my still aches that she was taken from because you were so young with your brother Randy
I think her voice sounds like Patsys. I think it’s so sad that she was only five and her brother was two when they lost her mom. I can’t imagine how those little children felt. It must have been devastating.
I love y great story. My late girl friend in the late1970 died of bowl cancer &one of the songs i wrote for her was patsy is my woman. That was her name patsy & She heard the song before She past away & said that was beautiful &she cried .about 2 months later she was gone.she was the love of my life .& still her today.y will find the song on utube in library & then my videos.marty parker nsw aust

I've wondered the same thing. I've heard he inherited her love of music and played in a bamd but prefers to stay in the background. I've never seen a picture of him.
What ever happened to Charlie? Did he remarry? What did he do after Patsy death? How did he take the death of his wife? If he's dead how old was he? SHAWN
sudaev That is awesome. I have some Patawomeck ancestry. I always felt Patsy Cline looked a bit Native to me. I assume she might be Shawnee or Cherokee given the area where she grew up.
I didn't know Patsey Cline had a daughter first of all or any other chlidren..God bless Patsey and her family ..who did Patsey have a child by? And what occurred and happened in her life past..sadly missed am loved by all..her songs were a sensation to the fans of her beautiful singing she gave and from her heart..RIP
Hi, This picture is of my mother, Sylvia Jeneanne... I made her a RUclips account that I manage, because Momma doesn't have the internet.. I just wanted you to know, That I grew up with the music and songs of Patsy Cline, My mother sang them all and did Patsy proud. Check her out if you will. m.facebook.com/GrandmaSings/
Her video that I, Pam Weibel Kinberger did of her, #Bluemoonofkentucky, went viral on Facebook, with MILLIONS of VIEWS... it also has been in the Local paper and she has been on the local news because of it as well... She has also been found on RUclips by one of the casting producer from America's Got Talent...
Being Cline's daughter, I wondered had she ever tried singing as a career? I know of several singer one example was John Lenin, his son sounded just like him, Michelle Phillip , for quite a few years , especially from a distance, I cannot tell which one is mother and daughter, maybe you inherit something, you are roughly 80% Patsy, maybe Patsy did not die completely after all.
I really believe her mother was half Indian look at their features possibly why rejected in Winchester VA because this place is not what you think it is. I'm from this area.
Most Hillbilly’s do have Indian blood. My mother was from Red Boiling Springs Tennessee. Her mother was full blood Cherokee. My mother had green eyes and light hair, go figure.
People are going to remember Elvis, Loretta, and Patsy always. They're part of America history. They're never going away.
I love Patsy Cline. There has never been / and never will be a more beautiful voice. She left inspiration for centuries to come.
I stopped by her grave site a few years ago. What a surreal experience. I sang "I Fall to Pieces" to her. Left a 1963 penny there.
amen
Reading this made me emotional 🥺
A true living country legend no other women living today can come close to her heavenly voice !!!
I'm not particularly a Country music fan, but your Mother's voice has always made my hair stand on end- in a good way. She is Immortal.
I used to have my own band & also was a semi finalist 3 yrs. In a row at WWVA. I was proud to stand where Patsy & Tammy stood when I sang! One of my song choices was CRAZY ! I loved that song & the way she sang it! She was one of the best!
I think Julie has done a wonderful job maintaining her mother's memory and legacy. Patsy loved her children with all of her heart.
I absolutely LOVE her music. Her voice is the prettiest I've ever heard. You should be so proud to be her daughter.
God bless u and your family!
It sounds to me as if Julie IS proud of her mother.
Patsy passed away long before I was born, but I used to play an album my mum had when I was in my teens..... Love Patsy voice, loved her style......
No one before or since has been able to sing as perfectly as your beautiful Mom! She’s still the greatest!❤️
Julie seems to be such a sweet person. She's also endured a personal tragedy other than the loss of her mother. She lost a daughter in a car accident as well. So she's got three angels waiting for her when she gets to heaven...her mother...her grandmother and her daughter. And her father now, as well.
And her father
What about her Mother??
You mean, grandmother, mother, daughter, and father.
Julie has a nice voice wished she could said more. I loved patsy cline..her voice was just beautiful..she passed. Before i was born. But hearing. Her songs watching. Actually Julie looks more like Charlie. When you see pictures of Randy, it will scare you; he looks just like his mother.
I thought he looked like Randy Hughes,Patsy's last manager. Julie (when she was younger) looks like Marie Flynt, a friend of Patsy's. I think neither look like Patsy, who bore a striking resemblance to Mary Reeves, widow of Jim Reeves.

Charlie did remarry! He married Jamie Ryan in 1965. They were married until the early 1970's.
