Sadly its gone forever---when we see all this "woke" BS invading Nashville and the country music industry talent like LeAnn's doesn't stand a chance. If you ain't sucking up to the few you're somehow shamed.
Country music needs to make a comeback. George Jones asks, "Whose gonna fill their shoes?" ...Certainly no one in todays so called country music. There are so many great living legends that were such a big part of the Nashville scene and now they are all shunned by ball cap wearing country rappers.
Not many female singers could put a performance like this together, they simply don't have the vocal capacity nor the soul to carry it through. Simply incredible and country to the core.
Totally agree its such a shame she has seemingly wasted her career being more of a tabloid darling rather than a singer. She has such a beautiful voice.
I was super bummed; we had tickets to see her and Covid happened. They tried to reschedule but it wasn't in the cards. I was so looking forward to see her.
For those who wonder why LeAnn cries at the end: Rimes cries first because it is a tribute to a person who made history and died too soon and in a tragic way and second because Patsy is the idol of LeAnn and his greatest influence, only you have to hear the vocal record of each one. Let's say it's a tribute from a princess to a queen. At the end of the tribute she says "I love you Patsy". Patsy and LeAnn two of the best vocalists in history.
LeAnn's expression just as the last syllable of "you.........." ended she knew she'd nailed that tribute and nailed it she did. !! Anyone who'll try copying Patsy in the future needs to watch a master do it first---strongly consider if what they'd offer comes close. :)
What a beautiful tribute for Patsy! Leann was absolutely stunning in this, everything from her sultry singing, to her dress, to her hairstyle, to her make-up. Just beautiful!!!!
I tell you what, from the first time I heard Leanne sing as a child I felt like she came closer to emulating Patsy Cline than anyone I’ve ever heard before, or since. She is top notch, a treasure in her own right, and sorely under appreciated for her massive talent in my opinion.❤️
Listening to Patsy Cline songs the original songs that I have on LP that are so scratched from years and years of use and everything, now I listen to them remade like on RUclips, etc..However, , Patsy Cline songs, with her singing, they, always make me cry, the kind of crying that makes, me feel good, kind of cry and reminiscing about the, past it’s always an emotional time for me anyway….I love this music so much, and I used to sing it with my sister who passed away in 2001, but we sang this song a lot and Brenda Lee was another one we used to sing, too and my mom just said oh my God, you girls were meant to sing, we always were too shy, and when she said that we should sing it again,We would become so bashful,so we’d have to sing it out in the barn, so nobody could hear us…. I grew up listening to Patsy Cline when I was probably in fourth grade barely 10 years old and I still know every song that she sang that was on this tribute by LeAnn Rimes anyway I still know all those words by heart and I listen to her over the years but since these words were, over, the last few months that I’ve listened, to her singing them, I realize that I have not forgot the words, so my approaching old age in, another 20 years or so🙄, perhaps, I might not remember them, but for right now I still do and I enjoy singing with LeAnn Rimes as it turns out but I try to pretend like it’s Patsy Cline, like when I was young, Wow, memories that make me cry…
Appropriate person to sing a Patsy Cline tribute. When LeAnn Rimes first broke out with "Blue" around 1996, I thought to myself - "This sounds like Patsy Cline - something Patsy would've done" - then I later read that "Blue" was actually written years earlier and pitched to Patsy by a friend of the writer, but Patsy was killed before getting to it.
A tragedy that she was killed in that plane crash. But then, more people get killed just falling in their homes. Dummy, it's not the crash, it's the voice and the person who used it so powerfully, that we all lost. I was just "getting into" music, having just passed my driving test and got a car, a beat up old klunker that I loved so much, and it had a great radio (I think I bought the radio, and got the car with it). I even put speakers in the back window sill, and made the back window vibrate. Gotta make sure my kids don't see this. They'll never believe their "Boy Scout Dad" did such things.
Why LeAnne Rhimes was not one of the major acts out of Nashville, I'll NEVER understand. Put her beside any person and she will come out on t o p! This lady is truely amazing! Actually, LeAnn was Dubbed The Next Patsy Cline when She was 13 Years Old; and She Lived Up To It! :-)
Shannon, you are an idiot. LeAnn is an exact copy of Patsy and I love them both.
She is the best singer since she started and no one has reached her yet!

Hello Lynne..
One of a Kind LEANN RIMES!!! Just BEAUTIFUL!!
Real music transcends genres. This is just beautiful music. PERIOD. Leanne you're a doll. Love ya;)
I have always loved LeAnn. The first time I heard "Blue" I was pulling out of my driveway and I stopped the car and listened. lol I have sung a couple of Patsy Cline songs on my channel. Faded Love and Sweet Dreams. I won karaoke contests singing Sweet Dreams. lol I loved Patsy since I was a little girl. She is my Idol. Singing any of her songs is an honor. NO ONE can sound as good as her. Never.
Hello Susan..
Always loved LeAnns voice, from way back when she was a kid🌸
Leanns voice is beyond ❤
HOLY SHYT, that gave me the SERIOUS chills!!!!
I loved Leann when she came out for one reason only...her voice and its resemblance to Pasty...and she still sounds as great now as she did when she was just a tiny teen :)
Patsy, I think you mean . . .

LeAnne is Gold
LeAnn, you are amazing. You do old country, current country, show tunes and ballads like nobody else. We saw you in Salt Lake City a few years ago Ioved every minute. We especially loved you Janice Joplin and blues songs. Our best to you always in singing and your personal life. Remember how blessed you are.
I was completely mesmerized during this phenomenal performance! I do believe I forgot to breath until the very end.
I simply stated that I liked Leanne's performance. I dud not compare it to Pasty Cline's singing. You need to calm down.. BTW, I am not your son.
Obviously a typo. "dud" should have been "did"
