ironically I defeat Dragonlord Placidusax with the Bolt Of Gransax, had a Lightning build when I fought him the first time
Fun fact: Dragon type weapons are more effective against dragon enemies in ER.

That summon timing at 2:43 was beautiful. Made it seem like the siblings appeared from a bolt of red lightning.

Placidusax is just GOAT - it would be amazing to see him with all his heads in his prime. This version of him is missing a wing 3 heads and some of his tail and in a state of sever decay it seems. Back in the day, no wonder he was elden lord before the erd tree.

That's my only issue with this game. Fighting bosses that are probably well passed their prime. Everybody is rotting and decaying. Radahn and Malenia were probably near-impossible to kill in their heyday. Radagon would have 2 arms and agility. The Elden Beast seems to be the only one not affected by the systemic rot.

His minimum level point to fight him would probably raise by 60
hopefully dlc would make this possible

Old grandpa placidusax keeps getting staggered by everything. Placidusax in his prime was definitely god tier

Could very well be that dragons have high lightning resistance
They have 80% lightning absorption and like 5 times the player's health, hope that explains

@@elevenAD He won 1 out of 3 rounds, meaning he lost overall. He lost in the first round, won in the second and lost again in the third… Which video are *you* watching friend?
Edit: Yes, he also won the bonus round, but I still wouldn’t call that an overall win.

After the dodge at 5:30, Fortissax was almost guaranteed the win if only he attacked faster. But seriously, that was probably the best and flashiest counter ive seen from any boss v boss fights.

A giant dragon with lightning nuke spear, which can spit fire and turn it into laser beams, while also transforms to dust and one-hit a tarnished from lightning storm? This is the most OP dragon in the gaming industry.
To be fair to Placi, he aggroed onto you in the first and third fight...hence his random swings at the air while looking towards your character. This put him in a more vulnerable position. I'm not saying he would have won those matches, but he would have been more likely to... especially in the third match.

isn't Malenia still at her prime (Considering she gets stronger after every bloom), meanwhile Godfrey is an old man and Marika fought the Elden Beast, managing to greatly wound it after shattering the Elden Ring

bruh the synchronization on the siblings moves is amazing on some parts
it's super sad that his lightning nuke attack is not a one shot, he is literally giving you alot of time to get away while charging it

@@neamraven no hes talking about the crit spot on placidusax’s second head, when placidusax is staggered he has teo crit spots one on the ground and one on his back even though you’ll never get to there
@@deadlyapple8333 I mean depends on how the dragon falls down, no? I don't know what spot he's talking about but if it's on his back and the dragon falls on his side, presumably you would be able to reach it? They obviously didn't make an animation like that, though.

Gransax's head is almost the size of Fortissax's entire body. Realistically he would be able to squish both of them with one foot.
Lannseax doesn’t stagger. Found that the hard way. It really against placidusax here. Pladdy also cant roll and nick at their feet like the tarnished

He wasnt weakened, he was taken control of by the deathblight outergod and strengthened with his new death lightning attacks
@@deadlyapple8333 he WAS weakened, just because he had the death lightning doesn’t mean he was stronger, like any death enemy, they don’t think straight and cant judge and respond as accurate and fast as before, he was weakened because that. When we get the death lightning is great to have but is because we, the protagonist get a hold of that power and overcome it as one of our own. Only we can do that, only we can keep going forward after getting all glinstone and not crystallizing like the geniuses that perfected glinstone. Only we can devour all the dragon hearts and not become one. Only we can use milenias rot while not being rot inside. This is the same case, only we can use death lightning and not become corrupted or controlled. Think about it. That is the only piece of lore that is inexplicable, only because we are the protagonists we can use everybody’s curse. Fortissax was weakened indeed.

so placi misses a lot of attacks because he doesn't target the summons but the summoner. then we would see what he is capable of targeting only summons

Did anyone already mention the fact that when Placi is poise broken, the head that's NOT on the floor, the head thats resting on his body above has a glow for a critical attack as well? I wonder if there's a different animation for that or if it's a "reused asset" kind of thing since it's a copy of the main head of course.
I saw in a video that one of placi's heads was originally designed to be able to be removed. Perhaps you might've been able to decapitate one of his heads and make the laser beam move easier to avoid

An all out dragon battle would be epic all the dragons in the game fighting against one another for the right to truly be declared the Dragonlord and not just givin the title as the game starts they are territorial creatures so yeah that would be the most epic boss fight in the history of epic battles
I'm just pretty sure all of the non ancient dragons would fucking die from the ancient dragons throwing all the lightning around, the lesser dragons like agheel, smarag, and adula are all weak to red lightning.
