- In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the strongest bosses in elden ring can survive the lord of dragons in his 2nd phase.
To test this I had Placidusax start off directly in 2nd phase and moved up his laser beams transition to the moment he reaches half his total hp instead of a 3rd. All stats are untouched vanilla.

Maliketh getting impaled by Placiudasux bolt, triggering second phase, getting stunt in place, getting hit tens of times by the bolt, taking the nuclear explosion in the face and getting stunted again was BEAUTIFUL! and then Maliketh in retaliation for that move, doing 13k damage in a single combo

Maliketh fights are interesting, such an incredibly high agility but low health pool but watching Placi's hp bar disintegrate like that says it all
@@Codandub fun fact, to make placi win this one, bjorn had to run the fight multiple times until he got favourable rng for the drake. so much luck with that positioning, choice of attack and stunlock, AND second damage tick from the nuke is just unreal
Part of the reason Maliketh does so much is the whole health limit debuff, as capping the health lower REMOVES THE HEALTH, that’s why his remembrase Incant and sword are my favorites for both PVP and bosses

Omg if not for your comment i would not know this since i always skip the rick fight. Always thought maliketh would have the best chance, and he might still beat him as we have not seen their battle but im still happy for placi. He after all is a faith build boss so im glaf

@@rjsblanket3024 Yeah. I mean the Rick joke used to be funny when it started, but like most jokes of its kind, its outlived its expiry date. Then again I guess humor is all just personal preference anyway, so meh. If people still enjoy it, good for them. Just not my thing. Although its pretty funny seeing him lose, like how in another video Rick just keeled over dead when Radahn sat on him.
@@rjsblanket3024 ikr. It is no longer funny as i actually once upon a time suspect it to be real. Some channel made a video about him as the hardest boss in ER and said that if i dont do the tutorial boss but beat every other boss then come back to him i would encounter the real rick. Obviously i dont have enough willpower to kill every boss, but i still went out of my way to kill every remembrance boss before going to rick. And it turns out he is still weak. So i rest in a grace and return and the boss arena is still empty. I mean, if you are a serious channel and you suddenly make a joke like that and the comments never confirmed it to be a joke sometimes someone in the audience just feels the need to waste time and confirm
The Mohg battle was amazing. Both, Mohg and The Dragon Lord are such amazing bosses.

Dang, that laser golem fight was so intense it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, such a roller coaster of emotions. When Placi whiffed that beam I thought it's over but he somehow barely clutched. So close.
It looked t ome that many of laser golem's moves were too far away to hit but he decided to do them anyway. I hate when AI do those things it like breaks immersion.
A whole lightning bolt fell on godfrey and he stood there like 'This is nothing'
the malenia rng was painful. all placi had to do was use his melees that knock her over constantly but he kept doing moves just just made him stand there taking damage. rip.
Got a lil suggestion for a video: can any boss survive the cosmic invasion? You put NG+7 bosses vs 3 or 4 fully grown falling star beasts, to simulate what properly happens when radahn stops holding the stars
This would actually be so cool, but I think the bosses would also need extra poise so they don’t all look like rykard

They were a _far_ more compelling fight than I was expecting.
Man, this had _SO_ many awesome moments!!
It'd be neat to see an amplified Phase 2 like this with the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella (even if it needs a little boost to HP). It's got a _really_ neat moveset in Phase 2 that could give some potentially awesome combat moments, which usually doesn't get time to be adequately showcased because it's such a small fraction of a low HP fight.

@@walaxometrobixinodrink1727 Yeah, back in the 1.0 version of *_Elden Ring_* it seems like they were going to be a bigger boss fight. The description of the Dragonscale Blade in that version is, _“A weapon forged from the remembrances of dragonkin soldiers, burnished with the essence of draconic immortality. Alas, the dragonkin never attained immortality, and perish as mere imitations of the ancient dragons.”_ - but in the release version you never get a "remembrance" from any of the 3 Dragonkin Soldiers, because they're all minor boss fights.
The Dragonkin Soldier in Nokstella is the only one who has a phase 2 with Ice Lightning, and seems most likely to have had a remembrance. The one in the Lake of Rot is stronger but that region was heavily altered between 1.0 and the release version.
On top of that, there are the 3 ghosts in the Consecrated Snowfield who don't really have an explanation at all, but they're also near Astel in both locations who also has some notable changes between versions (and is WAY more aggressive in 1.0 and starts out the fight with meteors).
I'd say that both the Dragonkin Soldier & Radahn have the coolest Phase 2 movesets that get seen the least because their HP pool is so low compared to other bosses that they don't often have time to really use all of their coolest attacks before they get defeated.
While Radahn gets a lot of opportunities for being shown in AI matchups as he's a primary boss, it'd be neat to see more of the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella - although because its Phase 2 transition uses a different model, it very frequently has some buggy behaviour in AI fight mods and can take a lot of time so that it works correctly. Fingers crossed that Björn has better luck with it if he does any matchups with it, since he's specifically done a lot of work around making boss phase transitions work correctly in any arena.
Video idea: Rykard vs all bosses but he has increased hitboxes so all of his attacks can hit his opponents in mele range.

I never expected him to defeat Rick, that was very impressive, unfortunately for Placi, Rick now sees him as a threat and will come back in his second phase to show him who's boss lol

Also, that wasn't Rick's health bar, it was his patience bar; he just got fed up Placi spending the whole fight running away so he left.
Godfrey is my 2nd favorite character in elden ring but i mus say while he's entertaining, his fights are almost as unfair as malenia's
Against him the ennemies are poise broken and can't act
Tbh, Malenia's phase 1 did extraordinarily well considering her past fights with Placi and almost didn't need phase 2
the "all knowing"
-used rykard skill away from placidusax while standing in the middle of lightning (indicated in a RED ZONE)
- tried to use the scarlet aeonia, away from him
- walked instead of running at the start of the fight
- instead of fleeing or using "heavy" attacks, he chose to use mohg skill (almost 0 poise damage) to poise break placi charging his nuke

OK, commenting before finishing the video this time, but Placi vs Laser Golem was legit awesome and a very close fight to boot. It's like the Elden Ring counterpart to King Ghidorah vs Mecha Godzilla (or Jet Jaguar for a deeper cut).
Wholeheartedly agreed on how awesome and close that was (as well as to the Godzilla comparisons).
Godrick may not stand a chance, but I admire his confidence. That mad cackle as he faces the dragon lord.

Everyone's talking about the dodge on Radahn's meteor (and rightfully so) but he actually perfectly dodged a bunch of stuff. He jumped out of the way right as Morgott began his dagger rain attack, perfectly teleported away from a bunch of the Laser Golem's attacks, and jumped away from Rick's last running thrust attack (which, to be real, might have just killed him outright)
Rykard with a stylish finisher. Dayum he really performed the best this time around.

I’ll never understand why the last two sweeps of his laser have such awful tracking. It’s one of the coolest attacks in the game and so pathetically easy to avoid. Midir’s laser was much more dangerous

Farum azula: maliketh, godskin, placi
Gelmir: rykard, fallingstar beast, ulcerated tree
Have each team fight other teams in like a world cup sort of structure
Malekith and Placi alone would be unstoppable. The strongest glass cannon in the game paired with the boss with the strongest dps-poise-hp stat spread would be unfair.
@@jacobg5122 placi has low dps as we can see in this vid. Maliketh does not have much aoe. While consec snowfield has death rithe bird, theodorix and tree avatar all dealing crazy poise and burst damage. Maliketh cannot attsck all these three crackheads simultaneously. One on one he wins but not all three stacking aoe together
Then gelmir has rykard and tree be the tank while fallingstar beast spams matador charge and gravity magic.
Then there is godfrey radagon and elden beast spamming their things.

Godskin Noble really wasn't doing well this fight; got fried by the lightning bolt the apostle dodged right at the start, then got lasered to death. Apostle carried the team but then Placidusax turned him into a poached egg with fire breath.

The battle of the flying, teleporting space monsters went in Placidusax's favor.

If only Placidusax's targeting box wasnt in front of his hit box. Laser Golem was our only hope.
The Laser Golem's attacks were just missing. It was so infuriating
I think about this in every video (I love them, btw). What about setting bosses at max HP when Malenia enters second phase?
I don't think she's beatable when she has some of the highest stats in the game + healing per hit + an AoE spell undodgeable for many AI which causes rot.
All Malenia's battles are (for me) a 1v1 vs first phase, willing to see if a boss can take down the first bar. I think that making this we would be able to watch how the fight the second phase too, which could be really interesting, at least, for me.
This is not a negative comment. As said, I love all your videos and watch them from beginning to end. Just a little idea I wanted to share.

Being underneath the spear after the cutscene really ruined malikeths chances
He always gets robbed in these videos because of his “phase transition” and because he fights out of his arena. Honestly, these things will always ruin his chances and we won’t see how good he would perform if that’s always the case.

First of all, congrats, Rick has been defeated, Placiboy is the only boss in the entire game who did this and this should be written in his CV, he must be proud 😂

She really did very well, she did more damage than what her husband did, and we all know what than means
4th, in my opinion, Mohg’a fight is the closest fight between bosses’ level
I really think they were equal
Finally, I guess it’s clear now who is the strongest, toughest, greatest elden lord 🤷♂️ actually the greatest and strongest character in the whole game not only at level of elden lords ( I mean they are the strongest so when we say godfrey is the strongest elden lord it’s obvious that also includes all character because elden lord lies at the top )
